Observations from an old guy:
I have lamented the state of our modern society for quite some time. And, here is why:
When I was a young man in high school (I graduated in 1961) I had the highest regard women. I had been brought up to respect the feminine gender and looked upon them as being the epitome of love and the very foundation of the family.
I was brought up to stand up when a woman entered the room, to open the door for them, to walk on the street side of the sidewalk when accompanied by a girl. I would never, ever, utter a curse word or a dirty joke in their presence.
SNIP!

one of the tv stations, sounds like you'd be a perfect fit in "Dallas" or one of the other soaps????
why not throw in a chief, a nanny, and well a gardener, just in case you get bored with your husband?

She writes delightfully, and appears to enjoy innuendo and is therefore my ideal woman personified! I accept thy challenge of dustery.
-Monologue (Little does he know I will have coated myself in a thick layer of vaseline, and drunk a bottle of scotch before the duel, rendering my senses completely numb)
Yes indeed sir, first to LAUGH loses.

Hello?
Feminism is for women's rights, can men do nothing on their own?
I stand up for human rights too but that's not the topic.
Well educate me.

Feminism was about equal rights, if it ignores when mens rights are trampled it is no longer about equal rights and it turns into a movement which is about domineering the opposite sex. Men are not allowed to argue for their rights because if they do then they are labelled as chauvinists and so they are instantly silenced.

Well educate me.
What male rights are we all supposed to be fighting for?

gee, I've been called a feminazi by quite a few people on these boards....
and I'll be the first to say that this is not the right way to go...
but, then, I'll completely lose the people it seems when I point out to them that well....
stay at home moms have very little earning potential, their husbands have alot more, and the court will take that into consideration when they make the judgement as to who should get the kids...
since those kids will decrease the earning potential of the one who gets them......
the mother usuallly ends up getting custody...
is it right, nope, but neither is men getting paid a few bucks more than their female counterparts who are doing the same job.

How on earth do women's equal rights trample on men's rights? Oh, you mean when men can no longer control women and dominate over her physical person and her mind?
When I was a young man in high school (I graduated in 1961) I had the highest regard women. I had been brought up to respect the feminine gender and looked upon them as being the epitome of love and the very foundation of the family.

As for Family Courts; when it comes to access or visitation, in most western nations, both parents get shared custody unless there are other circumstances involved however in saying that may I inform you that no two cases are alike and each have it's merits.
Now how does the Family Court system not work for you and why? These are the questions you have to ask yourself and perhaps the very lawyer over seeing your case to explain it to you and if you don't like it there is such a thing as an Appeals Court.
