Sure looks like him, I thought he had a noble Indian look.

Cheers Dave

I had a good laugh when I read your response. I seriously have no idea what you are talking about...and I'm pretty sure you don't either. But thank you anyways, you made my day.

I ... uhhhm.... 9 flags?

... This is a joke, right? Some kind of ATS prank? "Who is walking on the sun"

Oh no, the army experiment went wrong! I was in the capsule for 500 years instead of 1! The time machine! Oh God, where's the time machine???

Lets not forget what happened on January 18 2010 when NASA quickly pulled off images on their site of the sun that revealed what looked like strange objects surrounding it, and blamed it on "equipment failure".

Its definitely a solar prominence - but thanks for providing my new desktop wallpaper.

I have to admit that I really didn't see anything either.

Over the years, UFOs and other "anomalies" have been seen around the Sun, just like on the moon and other planets, but I didn't see much of anything in this picture.

Thanks OP

We all know its a solar flare but it was fun to be a child again for a little while imagining giants striding on the sun!

And you are right... If God wants to transform Himself into a 35000 mile man and walk on the sun He bloody well could!

C'mon guys it just GOTTA be Galactus!!!!

Oh noes!

Jokes aside, it's pretty good pic, but I have to go with the solar flare theory.

That's the type of thing I mean. If those are real UFOs they must be gigantic, and to be able to get that close to the sun. Remarkable. I've seen my share of solar UFO pictures like that over the years.

I wonder if this has to do with the twin towers colapse.
Separation of the module and the host.
The colapse of the twin towers might mean just that, colapse of the wave function, or of the sun, or the sun shifting, something of the sort I take it. So left gets separated from the right. I thought we were going to make it this time, it's what the creator wants in the end, so I take it I'll go with "I don't know"

The colours in the photo are incredible, and the picture itself reminds me of 1960's poster art, when 'sugar cubes' were popular. Thanks for posting it! Oh yeah...the figure looks to me like "Bigfoot"! Too many sugar cubes, perhaps?

Everyone go look at the original source from 1st post. It's been changed. The top part forming the illusion of the head and shoulders is gone. Why? NASA is so stupid.

The image is in no way consistent at all, it's definitely taken some time apart.

OK normally I would say its a sweet pic but probly a flare. But since the pic changed it would be agonizing for me not to investigate it. I cant honestly say exactly what that thing is but I have to ask: does the link take you directly to the site that posted the origanal pic, or to a secondary site where there would be no reason to change the pic? I just gotta know.

The link goes to nasa.gov

No idea why the picture was updated or if this is what normally happens with the nasa site

I just noticed the pic is in a subfolder called "latest" so I guess it changes a lot
