So You Wanna Fight? ATS Debate Tournament (Tournament Update)

oh goody, debate time again.

I guess I could give this a try. I was wondering how you get into these debate things. I'm ready for a good fight!

For those that dont know, you do get a "fighter" status tag in your avatar when you particpate in a debate. Regardless of wether you win or lose

Looking forward to seeing how this one pans out

I'd like to have a crack at this if I may, it sounds fun. Does it have to be done in one sitting at the PC etc ?

I'd be honoured to Debate with these people. Count me in.

I'll give this a go if there are still places available.

I'm usually debating about something in one way or another and like others have mentioned I've also never been involved in this so out of curiosity I'd like to see how I fare.

A name is not a debatable item. It does not matter what one's name is, it is what that member states. THAT is what is great about moderated debates.

Attacking the messenger is NOT an option. Only the argument.

Your avatar name is too large even to fit on the area designated for it.

As for whatukno's suggestion for the replacement name, Not so much.

edit to add, I actually like the name, it has synergy but too many characters

OK, fair point, admittedly I didn't consider length when picking out a name! Basically, just entered the first thing that came to mind and I happened to be listening to a catchy song at the time and one thing led to another...

I'm thinking of actually changing it now to something shorter and then perhaps using it in my sig instead. Would that be possible at all?

saltheart foamfollower, knows all about that. Basically you have to log out and never log back in again, then you can rejoin under any name you want. But basically you can never use this account again. Also, if you plan on doing that, sending the mods a U2U telling them what is up is usually appreciated.

You can't unfortunately change your name, something about the server strain and doing it might end the world. SkepticOverlord knows more.

All I can say is - bring your big guns this time people!
