I could go for some huckleberrys right about now! lol.

I'm still debating with myself over whether I can make the commitment to a tournament right now, but I have a question in the meantime.

In the past, a 10,000 character limit has been enforced because that was the posting limit for Fighters. Now that (as I understand it) the posting limit has disappeared, will the debate rules change? And if not, how will the limit be enforced?

There will still be a 10K limit on the debate posts..

Enforcement is simple.. Break the rules, lose the debate..

I will be posting an update later on today with all of you who have indicated an interest..

We may have to do two simultaneous debates..

My sense of insecurity is rising up when playing with the thought of entering this competition with such worthy opponents.

So from a self exploring point of view this could be interesting......At the risk of making a complete fool of myself, sign me up.

Honestly, with the exception of people quitting because they don't "believe" in the side they were given, I have never seen anyone actually embarrass themselves..

You may lose, we all do at some point, but you will find yourself getting better and better with each matchup..

I truly love the structured debates; I'm betting you will as well...

Edit to add, I'm also concentrating on the running of the tournament, so you wont have to face me..

I haven't seen a link to the debate forum index in this thread and I think it might be helpful especially to newer members of the site (since the debate forum can be hard to find in the overall index, in my opinion).
