I think he should get impeached, and arrested for strating the war in Iraq. I think he's a moron, has no brain, and looves money!

Well, those are certantly vauge enough reasons for me to judge a President for anything on.

Can you define what qualifies as being a "moron"?

Can you show any evidence of a lack of a brain?

Can you show ANYTHING that would actually be ACTIONABLE information that would lead to impeachment? Most importantly....anything you cite to answer this i will then ask...why has Bush's opponents NOT used those reasons and have burned Bush already?

Iraq was a mess we helped make, and one we're dealing with....
at a time and place of OUR choosing.....Iraq was in violation of the ceasefire agreements that ended the Gulf War....thats all i need to know.

As for my opinion,

Thumbs down for attempts to alter roe v wade

thumbs up for support of defence of marriage act

thumbs down for this whole "give illegals work visa's' idea

thumbs up for standing up to the world that thought the USA was soft, weak, and unwilling to slap some "evil doers" around.

thumbs down for allowing/preassuring the FCC to do this crackdown on "indecency" in broadcasting

thumbs up on the tax cut for the middle/lower class
thumbs down for giving the rich the same tax cut (even tho this was equal)

Hmmmm... I'm a little stumped. Your extremely well-thought-out and strongly articulated arguments for the impeachment of Bush have left me a little stunned. So stunned, in fact, that I actually had to take the time to read the articles of impeachment in detail to ensure that being a "moron" or having "no brain" and/or "loov[ing] money" are impeachable offenses. I was mystified to discover that they are not, despite the concise and well-reasoned arguments that you offered in your post. Perhaps you should write your appropriate representatives and ask them to address these glaring ommissions from the articles of impeachment. Do include a copy of your post as evidence to support your claim. I'm sure that they will love it.

This is what I have been talking about all of this time. People just don't like Bush. People like this slam him and they don't even know why. Come on. Is it that bad to love money?

People only believe Bush is a moron because one guy said it during the campaign and since then everyone without their own brain has thought the same thing. Think for yourselves people. And especially don't listen to this guy who can't even spell loves right.

Bush is in no way deserving of impeachment. If he was, all of the democrats would already be trying for it. Clinton got impeached for lying under oath.

a stain on a blue dress is not an impeachable offense and much was made of it. Lying to the American public and having our service men killed and maimed daily could possibly be.

I don't like Bush, but I don't see any reason to impeach him. I kinda wanna see him tossed out on his butt by the American people come November. The judges put him in office--let the people put him out. History will deal with the "crimes" and "legacy" of this one hitter quitter. I'm sure when its all said and done he'll be remembered for the way he handled 911. (Which blows me away, the american people would have followed a grapefruit after the attacks...he did nothing special but of course he'll be celebrated for those comments he made on the bullhorn to a devasted crowd of real heros).

What kozmo said.

How many of these ridiculous "Impeach Bush/Bush Lied/Why do you hate Bush" threads can ATS's disk platters hold? Why not just co-ordinate them all into one generic rant? It could be the same file posted over and over again; all we need to do is occasionally change the author's name.

According to your bio, ADS, you are almost 12 years old. Now I think that it is good that you speak your mind, but may I suggest that you not post a thread like this without giving some reason and thought to your words? Don't be afraid to ask questions.

Ummmmm, I don't believe he was impeached for a stain on a blue dress madman. If I recall correctly (Aan I am positive that I am) he was impeached for perjury, subjourning perjury, and obstruction of justice. In case you find this confusing, I will clarify... Perjury is LYING TO THE AMERICAN PUBLIC WHILE UNDER OATH!!! Secondly, I recall this little mix up in a country called SOMALIA where Clinton had sent our servicemen to be killed and maimed daily. Now come on, get real and drop the pointless partisanship. Thanks.

I thought that they were trying to impeach Clinton, but that there wasnt enough to even get that far. Was there an actual impeachment or just the precursor manuvers twords one?
As far as i know, only Nixon was ever impeached.

PS,
The USA was ASKED by the UN to get relief aid into somolia, and then they also asked us to round up the head bad guy that was pilfering the aid...
(ive posted this in a seperate thread on blackhawk down)
Unfortunatly we seemed to attempt this half assed, and not full forced...look what it got us....
Glad we went with the big guns this time.

Clinton WAS impeached but never removed from office. How this is different from a formal censure, I'm not sure.
Nixon was NOT impeached, he resigned. It certainly looked like he was going to be impeached, so than rather be a lame duck President, he resigned.

Bush should get impeached. Rumsfield should have been stripped of command, yet Bush went against senior white house officials and praised Rumsfield for doing a great job. Just goes to show the many ways that Bush can sink to new levels.

websurfer,

Why should Bush get impeached. He did not lie to the public like people claim. Even Putin (Russia) is coming out and saying that Saddam was trying to attack the US, both inside and outside of our country.

Maybe the memos of torture that the media has hyped up. Read them for yourself if you can find some of the transcripts or actually read some in depth articles about them. Bush may have had the right to torture according to Supreme Court, but he didn't use it and neither did Rumsfield.

Show me proof that Bush lied to the public and I will be behind you 100 percent. The only problem is that there is none. If their were any proof, the Dems would have already tried to impeach him. Congress voted for the war too, because they know how dangerous Saddam actually is.

So tell me (seriously) all the reasons Bush should be impeached.

If John Kerry was president he should of been impeached even before he got there, with the war crimes he admitted to participating in and NOT REPORTING THEM, the lying about his campaign donations, the fact that he got his wife's income tax info stalled for awhile even tho he demanded it of someone else.

His double standards and lying and criminal history should be grounds enough for you liberals to turn your heads.

You hate bush because he's everything your party isn't... Moral, caring, freedom fighting, less involved in your lives...

Look who you guys elect... BILL CLINTON, a sociopathic masochistic narcissistic rapist, JOHN KERRY, a war crimincal, sociopathic ego tistical, insecure, lying little worm........

This is the epitomy or your party... WOW, MANY THINGS TO BE PROUD OF THERE.

Funny how you guys say "how dare you say this about ___" but then go out and do that same thing about the opposer...

You only hate Bush because he's not EVIL like you guys.

Some examples of your negative moral code:

Thy shall probe bum
Thy shall legalize narcotics
Thy shall turn away from God
Thy shall lie under oath
Thy shall vote for a war criminal
Thy shall stroke the ACLU's dick
Thy shall not save communist countries
Thy shall ban guns
Thy shall disrespect the commander in chief
They shall ban the cross on the California flag and not know what to replace it with
Thy shall turn away from American tradition and replace it with all the above garbage

oh yeah and

Thy shall increase taxes to keep people poor and dependant on government

and they shall shut people up if they don't agree with me.

Its funny listening to all this but if I remember correctly Regan received many of the same arguments during his presidency. People criticized his stance on terrorists and the cold war, but when you look back now most people see him as a great president who stood fast in the face of adversity and helped bring this country to places it had never been before. I think years from now once we have had the chance to reflect on the current events the people will remember Bush for the same qualities. Although I doubt seriously we will remember him as a great communicator...

Cant fault him though I speak the same way, gotta love that southern draw.

Well, in actuality you are correct. I guess the main difference then is that Clinton would testify under oath and many in the current administration won't. Shrub even had to have his lawyers present last week to testify about 9/11!

Well the question remains, can Bush be impeached? Is he even accountable for any of this hell ravished on mother Earth? It seems that Bush and those oligarchs behind him, have covered his tracks to the day he was born, the man seems virtually untouchable.

False Intel - Not his fault, but the CIA and a myriad of other agencies far and wide.

Bush lied to the public - Once again, he was going of intel.

Man, Bush may not be smart, but those using him sure the hell are.
