Actually being a citizen of The United States of America is only partial to
what being an 'American" is. Being a citizen, means that you have the rights
granted to you by the Constitution of the United States. Not only that, it also
means that you PAY into the system along with all other citizens. This group
effort is a fundamental guarantee that you Will be afforded the rights of The
Constitution of The United States of America as a Citizen.
Now as for being an "American."
What country in your lifetime has donated the most aid?
What country in your lifetime has shown the most effort to promote religious
freedom?
What country in your lifetime has endowed humanity with the most inventions and new technology?
What country in your lifetime has shown the most effort to promote the freedom of speech, expression, and music?
What country in your lifetime has done its best to promote basic human rights?
What country in your lifetime has, to the best of its ability, Welcomed All?
What country in your lifetime has shown more effort to promote equality
and woman's rights?
What country in your lifetime has walked on The Moon?Or At least Attempted? (For all you Conspiracy Folks...edit)
The list goes on and on.
To be an American is an Honor. It is a proud group effort by the myriad of
cultures to put our differences by the wayside, and do our best to move
Humanity forward.
To be an American is to Know that your dreams can come true.
These arrangements have been paid with the cost of countless American
lives. Including those from my own family.
So I will ask again,,, What is your intent?
