Cusack launches bizarre 'Satanic cult' rant

www.news.co m.au

JOHN Cusack went on a caustic Twitter rampage Sunday evening, attacking Fox News, former House Majority Leader Dick Armey and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.

“I AM FOR A SATANIC DEATH CULT CENTER AT FOX NEWS HQ AND OUTSIDE THE OFFICES ORDICK ARMEYAND NEWT GINGRICH-and all the GOP WELFARE FREAKS,” Cusack tweeted in response to a fan's question about whether he supported the building of the Cordoba House Islamic center near Ground Zero in New York.

I wasn't sure if this had been posted yet, but I just found it this morning.

Interesting choice of words from Mr Cusack, no? I always feel when big name celebrities come out with stuff like this, it always helps the cause (of waking people up etc.)

Even if only a few people google 'satanic cult fox news' it would have made a difference.

I always liked High Fidelity.. heh

I have heard of this happening on Sunday evenings after the consumption of alcohol.

2nd line.

Interesting find.

It's amazing the effect that Fox News has on liberals, it really does make them rant like a grounded teenager.

Looks to me like Cusack wasn't able to answer the question and had a minor episode.

PS - I don't watch Fox for news, it's just entertainment, you're not supposed to take it seriously.

I had seen it on Fox news as well.

Why do liberals resort to childish actions when they get upset?

You rarely see a conservative act that way.

Liberals: When proven wrong, they prove they are incapeable of denying ignorance.

it presents itself as 'serious' and most people take it seriously. so why should the masses suppose otherwise?

the irony is we're not supposed the Daily Show with John Stewart seriously, and that show has some of the more insightful observations on the boob-tube.

The Satanic Death Cult already has offices everywhere...if foolio would check, they are already selling sweet potato fries at his local strip mall...

So tell me again why I should care about his rants?

Not that I watch Fox News but really, why does his opinion matter to me? I understand he is some actor guy and I assume has money (unless like many in the star crowd it has all been wasted on instant gratifications), I guess he is still working though I am unsure of that as well.

I get it though; he gets worked up and had an episode, good for him. I am so happy I do not do the social networking thing.

I'm with you.

Sometimes a Rant is just a Rant.

He's still working. He's going to play Edgar Allen Poe in an upcoming movie. Maybe he's getting into character for playing the depressed, dark and drunken Poe, and he, well, he really got into it and it is showing in his tweets.

Look guys, I only posted it because of the strange nature of the message. If you are oblivious as to who are guiding this world, of course it will seem like nothing.

Sure I recognise that it is obviously a rant from a celebrity, but it wasn't him ranting about his favourite sports team, new car or some irrelevant garbage, it was him apparently ranting about fox news being owned by occultists.. which ain't far from the truth.

Oh and one more thing, I'm aware fox news is 'entertainment' trash and anyone who takes it seriously has rocks in their head. Like Mythos said, everyone should know this, but the majority of the TV watching masses don't know any better - they think it is news.

I believe this might be the only time you and I have agreed on something.

I am both shocked and excited at the same time. It is a rather strange feeling

Good point.

Still to me it is a rant. It is cool to read stuff like that if you truly care what that person has to say (or if it were on ATS), but aside from that it is just steam being released.

Thats all fine and good. Why not the other MSM outlets? they're all evil and anyone that says otherwise is either deluded or intellectually dishonest.

Have you never listened to Glenn Beck? He does the same thing; so does Rush. People on both sides really need to realize that they should not fighting each other. Cusack just looks like an idiot with this.

Oh, my post was not a dig at you or something you thought of importance. I am sorry if you feel that to be the case.

I though think people in his situation are more just mouth pieces for their own boosting. They (people like him) look at what might get them attention or what is popular and the spout off about it. I truly doubt he has any idea as to what is really being said.

I realize I could be completely wrong on this, but I have seen this sort of thing from many just like him and in the end they spew out other garbage that simply contradicts their first statement down the road. It is as if they are experts at doublethink/doublespeak.

I didn't get that at all.

Considering them acting in an Evil manner - - well that's different.

I think it's open to interpretation.. if we take into account who it was that said it.

Could be either way, it's just information!
