Are you asking me to "debunk" a painting?

A painting doesn't represent reality, but rather an artists interpretation of an event or a concept.

For example this painting, purportedly from the 1400's is of an event that purportedly happened over a millenium before that.

I cannot say with any clarity what the artist may or may not have been trying to communicate by the inclusion of a shape in the sky. Though such things were commonplace in religious iconography, and usually represented the star of Bethlehem, or eluded to the book of Ezekial.

I am positive that I can find any number of paintings from the same period that do not contain any such objects.

why do we need "official" disclosure to know the truth? honestly if "official" disclosure would ever come out it would be a distorted truth and not much else.. we would never know the full truth, heck even if the goverment gave us the whole truth of what we know do you really think the entties would TELL us the whole truth? most likely lies as well...lies on top of lies on top of lies is what we would get..

If you can't find out that on your own, you will never learn anything. But your observation that I originally replied to was not the ISS for many reasons. For one, the speed was.....ah......er......a "little" off, little as in WAY THE HECK OFF.

Its only the most observable man-made object in the sky, I would imagine you, with your interest in space and UFO's, would have at least used something called the internet to actually learn something.....

But then again, I'm betting you lack the ability to see or learn ANYTHING that could contradict your overwhelming desire to believe in the least probable conclusion first.

That wasn't the ISS as some have already pointed out. It moves across the sky very fast. You were probably watching venus.

i agree .. i have learned my lessons .. usualy the official version is a lie to avoid any chance of mass panic and rioting
people are so young in their minds ... that when some truth are revealed they go madly insane and panic about the fear of dying ... TYPICAL

my kind of disclosure would be .. the truth and only the truth a hand on the bible like in courts ... this would be televised on CNN and the UN would probably be there with the Potus

i can be wrong on some details (the speed)
i dont look at it every night
its just a beautiful white shiny dot in the sky for me
but im still interested by it ...and i know i have saw it .. it wasnt there for the next night ..i just wanted to share the sight in a none professional expert way ...saying its beautifull in the sky with the stars ...
and i usualy spot the ISS fast when i see it
its not that hard to make the difference between the ISS and a star or a planet

Chariots of the Gods was an OK read.

The fun thing about being skeptical is that I don't have to rely upon speculation. I can't disprove that which hasn't been proven.

I'd be every bit as interested as you would obviously be if an alien civilization were to engage the human race. I really would be. In fact I'll go so far as to say that I am positive there is life somewhere in the Universe other than the life on Earth. I think it is probably exceedingly rare - at least in it's higher forms. But I do feel it would be arrogant to think we are alone.

But I have yet to see anything which might convince me that an alien civilization has visited our planet. Such a monumental thing would not be hidden in clues in movies, books, or paintings. It would be the most pivotal moment in human history and I believe that it would dwarf all other events in human history - making it the most documented and indisputable event to ever occur.

Oh and to address a couple of earlier comments... If I found myself beamed onto an alien ship you can rest assured that I wouldn't write it off to being a bad dream. That, for me, would constitute irrefutable personal truth.

I just though that it was time that i share my opinion on this Alien subject

those astronault are real american hero .. they cant be labelled nutjob or crazy old senile guy ...

Some of the problems when well known people decide to come out they tend to wait too long. Understandably.
I chalk that off to either being silenced for 50 years or threatened or scared or even brainwashed early on.

Many people wait until they're close to their death-bed to come clean. At which time they probably feel, they haven't much to loose.

But the problem then becomes, people say they are then, senile or.....twisted or....confused or.....over-medicated or......drank too much etc.

There's a no-win way of everyone believing anyone when it comes to 'secrets'.

If they come out when they're relatively young (like Bob Laser, Phil Schneider etc) then they're automatically deemed dis-informationists or deranged.

So again, it all boils down to what your PERSONAL heart and head feels is right. Don't worry about pleasing anyone else. This isn't a matter of 'the biggest side wins' the argument.
We are so divided as a planet that we can't even agree on the damn weather! So................to each his own.

"Ignorance" - Coming in to a thread under the header of "aliens and UFO's" when you obviously don't believe in them and only coming in to boost your ego and talk as if you have the true answers..

Could the thread killers do us a favor and "deny ignorance". Perhaps move along to a different thread that may be more appealing to them.... such as "the world is black and white and exactly as it seems"... this thread is for us whackos who actually believe in UFO's and don't call astronauts who talk "crazy"....

The Bolivian journalist and writer Eduardo Ascarrunz, author of the historical novel “The Salt of Wonder”, which explains the story of the astronaut Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin about an unexpected encounter with a UFO, said “It’s a secret kept by NASA in half a century.”

The author pointed out to the media that “Aldrin confessed ten years ago but only decided to publish it with the approval of the astronaut, when he considered that the world was prepared for such a novelty.”

Aldrin walked on the Moon on 20 July 1969 and was the second man to do so, the first man who did it was Neil Armstrong, of the Apollo XI mission.

In his book, the journalist relates that “The astronauts reported to the control center at NASA in Houston, United States, that they weer escorted by an UFO when they reached the Moon. “
