Thanks for acknowledging that all humans ARE NOT "created equal," and that our freedom of THOUGHT is at least as important — if not more so — as the freedom of speech or freedom of anything else.
No, humans are NOT "created equal"... It's more than apparent that most humans don't have terribly high IQs, that they're not capable of grasping the loftier concepts. And, no, education doesn't make a person smarter, it only gives you a database of knowledge upon which to draw.
You're as smart as you're ever going to be at birth — that is, your brain and your faculties for capturing knowledge swiftly are pretty much SET by the time you're born. It's part of your genetic blueprint. No, you don't become smarter as you age. If anything, social engineering and behavior modification only DULLS your faculties.
So, NO, there's no such thing as a socialist Utopia in which everyone is "equal"... It'll never happen, not as long as we're still human beings. We'd have to DEVOLVE into some sort of dull-witted sub-species to become equals.
And, as long as we're humans, we'll always exercise our penchant for recognizing and discriminating against one another for our perceived differences.
Sorry, nobody is ever going to legislate equality into our genetic blueprint. Thank God.

A lot of people just accept the fact that our freedom of speech is a joke nowadays. It's mainly because that is what they are taught in school. I remember a specific quote from my high school government teacher: "You can say what you want as long as it doesn't offend someone." What a load of crap.
I'm talkin' about the low-down, entitlement-minded stupidity that our government has not only financed but has NURTURED over the decades with one social program after another "ta hep them po people"... Shsh

Negativity and evil are things we could all do with a lot less of in the world.
You are quoting the Bible but I think you are missing the point. Define evil. I bet under most definitions that God, himself, would be identified as bigoted, hateful, and considered evil - as hundreds of anti-God threads on ATS will attest to. Evil from my perspective is whatever God calls evil and that makes me intolerant by some people's standards.

Did I address any one member in particular?
Do you think I may know the rules here better than you?

Surely it is within our right to have some elements of distrust and surely it is within our rights to vocalise or type out our concerns.
What about the older generations, who have seen far worse things than you or I? Are they fools?
