No. If you left Iraq and Afgahnistan, the majority of people in the US would be over joyed... seeing as that's one of the many things Obama promised... and evtually never did. But anyway, I believe that it went over the top, and you created more problems by staying. Some fights can be won with and army, with force. But other fights can't be won that way. I think all the fights have been won physically, now it's time for the country to heal itself, without thousands of trigger happy americans over there.

Anyway, i find this whole post offensive, I have friends who's husband's are over there right now fighting this war. They have little girl's back home wanting their father, and they have a wife praying everyday that they get to have that phone call from their husband's. I met my husband when he was in the military, guess what he did, Bomb Squad!! . I had family members who were in wars, and they told me what they did, and they saw their friends die, and they had to deal with killing kids as well. Let me just say that really #s with your head! Let me just say these poor men and women have to think fast because it's either they die, or they kill the kid who has a bomb strapped to them, who's it going to be? Before you call me cold and cruel who is using their children as bait? It wouldn't be me.

You people make me sick!!! I think I totally lost all hope and humanity the people who posted against this poor guy in this thread!!

Terrorism will never die and will never go away but we are making a dent, believe what you want to believe but we are making a difference in both of these countries.

What is very real is that more American soldiers and veterans are killing themselves than are being killed by the enemy.

Lots of different reasons and issues - relationships, unpopular war, stigma from our own DHS, and chain of command.

Most soldiers are awesome. Love them. But, there are certainly some who help give the rest a bad name, with videos of killing animals - and crap like that. These soldiers deserve to have the crap beaten out of them - literally; the military needs to police its own - on both ends of the chain of command. A military that cannot conduct itself in a professional manner deserves to catch hell.

Much the same thing can be said for our law enforcement. The sheer number of videos showing police resorting to force and acting like apes on crack only brings discredit upon the entire law enforcement community. Police yourselves... or you will be policed - happens everywhere, all the time.

Those who speak up against abuse, unprofessional behavior, and circumvention of US Law... are not traitors. They're doing their job which is a much harder job than those who simply stand aside... or condone these abuse, unprofessional behavior or circumvention of the laws they swore to uphold.

You know what, I pray to god, every god of every religion, that there is a draft. When you sheltered bastards get over there and get killed on the first day because you're too ignorant and spoiled to realize what the real world is like outside of America, I'll sit and laugh, because thats exactly what you deserve. I say again, until you actually live it, you have no idea what you're talking about. I admit there is some messed up stuff on the media, but that's because all they're showing is the bad crap our soldiers are doing. They don't show the little children running into a group of soldiers, then the giant explosion throwing body party everywhere. They don't show the little 10 year old bastards picking up weapons and killing our soldiers. They don't show how most of the "innocent" people turns out to be seeking our blood. They never show ANY of the heinous stuff that THEY are doing to US. All they show is our soldiers killing them BEFORE they can kill us. Just because the camera doesn't show the hidden stack of explosives and automatic weapons that were found after a group of teenagers were gunned down doesn't mean it wasn't there, and trust me, that has happened quite a few times, just on my missions. I don't regret a single death that I have caused, because I know for a FACT that ever person I killed saved at least one of my own. I wouldn't expect soft ass pussies like you to understand this fact of life though. You will soon enough, though, when the war is brought to our land.

Seriously, I can't believe people still have this romantic notion of "defending freedom" when it comes to the armed forces. They have to flaunt their supposed superiority because they serve in the armed forces or they're married to someone in the armed forces.
