quick question, where is the republican concern over the billions of dollars spent daily on unjust wars? my solution to the economic crisis, take the money spent on wars and spend it on peace, diplomacy, improving our foreign policy, alternative energy sources, border security, education and health around in our own country and around the world.

Now, now!! If they were "all working together", we would NOT be seeing so many HUGE differences between the two parties!! This is an EXCUSE used when folks cannot support their argument in regards to a particullar political party.

Certainly, and in ACTUALITY, there are HUGE differences between the two. We are talking TOTALLY different ways in which the county is MANAGED and RAN between the two of them.

The claims of them being the same only rings true to the conspiracy theorist who does NOT take a look at the political parties and their stances and actions throughout history.

A Republican Politician's (and Dem Pol's) stance is "profits for me and my friends above all else."

I think we need to call for ALL legislators to start thinking smarter about how, what and why they spend any of OUR money. Period.

Yes, you're right. But the BIG DIFFERENCE between the parties is who get's the spoils.

Really, at one time, there were philosophical differences betweens the parties. However, at the heart of it, they each use the same methods and tactics to get, control and maintain power for themselves and to funnel money and contracts to family, friends and donors.

Niether party is altuistic in their beliefs or goals. It's just words they say to get elected and stay there for as long as they can.

The arguement that you brought up is allready trumped by the response given above that it is within the Constitution to defend our boarders and that it is required of our elected representatives to do so. Just cause you dont want to read about it and instead skim over it is your problem. Unfortunately, with the current campaign finance regime and lack of term limits, we will be discussing this in perpetuity.

Without meaningful reforms of campaign finances, the politicians will continue to be on the dole. As a consequence, without term limits, they continue to be in power.

A solution is public finance of campaigns, but don't hold your breath waiting for this one.

Too much money and power to fight.

I personally agree 1 MILLION PERCENT with the OP on this one.

Where is all the OBNOXIOUS Republicans lovers and supporters right now?
