Almost very media outlet has an agenda. To some extent. Most are very liberal running proliberal op/ed pieces. Fox runs sonservative slants on everything. It's yellow journalism at its finest.

Someone mentioned illegal immigration isn't a real issue. And if I'm not mistaken they were an aussie. YOur opinion is ignorant in the sense you don't deal with that issue in the us. Your opinion is formed on heresay not facts. The facts are the only reason these people are employed is because they work for 1/4th of what an American would get, they get no benefits, there are no taxes paid on them and the companies don't have to maintain OSHA standards to employ them. It's 20-30 million people getting in car wrecks with no insurance, taking spots and getting grants and scholarships to colleges that they have no business attending, abusing the welfare and social security systems and sending that money out of the country. The average financial burden that 1 illegal immigrate creates is about 75k per year. Multiply by 30 million. Then realize that 75% of that burden is tax dollars. Yeah racism, whatever, it's common sense.

I think news stories are dictated by American cultural shifts. This is an ADD tabloid country for the most part. Short attention spans. Want shocking events. Sensationalism. It gets ratings. So they keep it up. Real unslanted news is a rarity, everything is an oped piece. And it's sad. Joe Friday is dead. Just the facts mam.

I think ratings dictate news content more than an intentional cultural conditioning. The news has changed in response to cultural changes not vice versa.But again thats just my opinion.

It's easy to know what we are being set up for.......A WORLD-WIDE POLICE STATE of dictatorial control.........nothing new under the sun.

I think it would be helpful if I elaborated on what I meant by why I was doing that. I was linking to google news, because, these are the issues that people seem to talk about the most- and I just wanted to show all of the people who are writing articles about these issues- and who are trying to push the agenda down our throats. It's something called a media blitz. Every news cycle typically one or two issues dominate all the news media- and in this news cycle the media does all sorts of stuff, and, tries to get us to be aware of that situation, and lead us to certain conclusions. That's what I was trying to show with that, how obsessed people can be with the non-issues.

Sure, they keep us distracted and blaming each other, while they make off with the loot. The Democratic and Republican parties are basically only two sides of the same coin, both working for the same interests. The two party system is actually only one big party with small minute cosmetic differences, designed to fool us into thinking that we have an opposition. In an effort to distract people from finding out this truth, they pump relatively unimportant issues into our heads. It is every bit of divide and conquer, only they use it for distraction.

Racism too is used for distraction and keeps us busy with blaming each other instead of the real culprits. Racism hardly ever plays an important role, though by watching the news or listening to authorities, you sure would think so. In fact, the only important way that it does play a role in our society, is how we are baited with it. If you can blame many of the world's ills on racism, then that allows the obvious to have an excuse and more importantly, it shifts blame from those responsible.

Racism is most certainly the primary tool being used to lead people by their noses right now.

The Left plants the idea if you are not one of them you are a Racist, the Right points out what the other side is doing to turn you the other way. By doing that both sides divert attention from real issues.

The point of it all is not even Racism or whether its a problem. It's to keep us at each others throats. They know if we ever stop fighting amongst ourselves, its all over for them. They could never stand up to a united populace and they know that.

Same thing with Entitlements. They are like a drug to control us, to addict us, to make us dependent upon them. We would almost be better off dead than to take that first Food Stamp or that first hand out. Once we turn to them to supply our needs, we become their slaves. An entire culture within our culture has evolved from the Entitlements. A culture of no hope, gangs, drugs and people so controlled they don't even bother to try. They wait for their next check, their next hundred dollar win on a scratch ticket from the corner convenience store.

One side offers a chance at success and riches, the other a life without want supplied by taking away the wealth of the other. Neither leads to what people really want, which is simply a happy life. Both are traps.

The two of you bring up a very good point. Racism has always been there... why people are racist doesn't matter. But what it does is sets people off against one another. Blacks against white, white against white, white against asian, asian against blacks, or whites against Mexicans. It used to be White against everyone else, but, maybe it's always been this way but not as obvious, but now racism has evolved to be much more than just simple white oppression of the white race over others (I'm white too, I'm just admitting that this has happened and that whites have been really racist in the past).

Now it seems to be more of setting up provocations and creating conflicts out of stereotypes between other people of other culture. Rather than letting us be all on a united front and each of us consider ourselves as humans- racism sets many people apart. The sad thing is that people will think racism is fine as long as they admit that they're racist... but you know they're just BSing and still stuck in the false dichotomy.

Your statement would apply to the '50s or the '80s, where mainstream media and public education control enjoyed a near-total monopoly and was entirely single-directed, top-down. But the Internet makes it possible to actually make your own propaganda, and open the focus of the people to endless horizons, and the examples of that are everywhere, no matter if it's on places like ATS, forums, the blogosphere and independent and self-managed on-line news and information hubs.

But the people who are actually interested in KNOWING, i.e. finding what's really happening and finding the truth behind the veils of propaganda CAN actually do it with this technology. Back in the days, when you wanted to make a research, you had to hang out in public and university libraries for days, weeks, months to get what you need, and the information, along with its quality and depth, was always under the control of a bunch of bureaucrats, no matter if you were in Soviet Union or the " free" Western world.

Just realize how this is sickening and self-alienating to fall into the trap of believing and the elite and controlling everything we hear and read, even on something as decentralized as the Internet. I mean, where will you go, and what you gonna do, when you're so convinced of being already all tied-up? You are NOT.

The only idea that TPTB are actually enforcing on your mind, globally, is that you are, and that there's nothing you can do against the almighty and invincible State. That you cannot do anything against the might of the Police State, that you have no choice but to work for a salary, pay your taxes and trade goods with their fiat currency, that corporate dominion over your land is unbreakable and that you are a slave, whatever you do. That's their biggest LIE, their biggest bull#e.

It is not capitalism which has subjugated people, and which is taking advantage of people, it is "central control" either in government or by corpocrats.

We will never get beyond that unless we recognize it for what it is. Imagine, we just elected the first Black POTUS and the tool he uses the most is the Race Card.

That is just one example of how they divide us to conquer us.

Abortion is another issue used as a weapon of control. It is a morals issue that the government should play no part in.

We are reaching the point where I'm afraid they are seeing their control of us is slipping so they tighten the noose. More and more control under the false guise that it is good for us. We are seeing it in everything from taking over banks and industry to controlling our behavior financially. The constitution is being stripped of language every day.

The globalist are now implementing their final plans on the sheeple population for their one world government, one world currency, and population reduction by 80%. It has been reported about 6,000 people pull the world strings and are making this tyranny a reality. Their goal as a group is to get the population fighting between ourselves, while the globalist sit back and guide it through completion. If we don't turn the heat back on those 6,000, and break away and return this Republic back to a Republic, then we lose.

They are still holding up the Real Estate Nightmare! I have not seen any significant devaluing of the Housing Market. It is so entrenched in outlandish mortgages that they want to pump more money into the mess. Anything to keep the status quo. Anyone invested does not want to lose a dime beyond the amount they paid! Sorry, but this is going to implode in their faces too! A modest home is not a million dollars! Try more like $30 to $60,000. Yeah I could build it for that much!

The same in the UK! We are short of housing and need more, but to build more is to send the property prices plummeting, so they will not build the housing that we need.

Their present, stupid solution? Get people swapping houses!!!!!

I read that now and then to remind me. This was their game plan in 1963 and they seem to be sticking to it. The UN was intended to be the World Government. When that did not work they turned to control through financial means, making all governments dependent on each other.

The US version that guides so many today comes from works derived from this basic plan. Obama is to young to have been a part of it, but he most certainly was recruited by those who were a big part of it. He actually taught Saul Alinsky in one of his classes. Somehow a video of one of his lessons survived or we would likely not know that.

It really does not matter whether it's Obama or not. Had it been somebody else the general plan would be the same.

We stagnate and devolve under the system they want and as the Human animals we are, we only thrive and prosper when we have reason to get up in the morning. The more they take that reason away from us, the deeper into the pit we fall. The easier we are to control.

The US became what it is due to people fleeing this exact same scenario under the British Empire. Now we are heading the same direction again, but there is nowhere to run this time.

Hate to break it to you but humans are VERY predictable and VERY gullible. They want to believe something they will even if it is disproven, you see there are differnt types of humans, some of them are mentally strong, while most others are mentally weak minded.

But you can guide these weak minded people into believeing what you want, simplly by putting it on tv with thier favorite celebrities (humans seem more attracted to more well known members of thier species) Because most of them want only power fame and money, the three most worthless things in existence.

Bt you have to guide these weak minded (or what some call "brain washing") there is no brain washing merely an idea put into someones mind in a way they focus on a certain goal.

When weak minded humans feel cornered they are unpredictable and can be very hostile (pending on the person) Strong minded individuals can find ways to keep the weak minded person occupied (tv, games, computer, entertainment) because without those parameters, things tend to get out of hand, before you know it weak minded people are filling the streets in massive riots. Because you only know what your brain is telling you, and if ones brain focuses on voilence, then that in some cases is thier action.

So why not perusade all the weak minded, to meaninglessly kill eachother, not only will crime go down by alot (after the riots) but population is at an all time low (which is good for the earth and us if you think about it) so by all these people dying your garrentting the future success of the "human" race.

so Finally, build a bunker or somewhere REAL safe cause i would imagen many strong minded would be killed in the onslaught. OF course it is only an idea which i formed together in my brain, only an opinion/idea, form your own dont take mine because then what does that make you?

But there is a factor we are not taking into consideration. Not all people are equal. I don't care what anybody says we are all not made the same some have certain gifts and others have their own talents. Some are creative some are logical some are violent some are pacifist. We are all at different levels of spiritual evolution if you will.

Now given the number of human with so many variable it becomes almost impossible to control the lot individually. They can't cater brain washing on an individual level YET. Point being if left to our own devices we would kill ourselves. Not everybody is a pot smoking hippie ready to hug their fellow brother in universal love. These are just the facts. They are an evil we need because they do what we can't.

By Real Estate you are talking about the market here in Australia .Most readers outside of the country would not understand what is happening here with our Real Estate Market .For them I will quickly say this , our market has peaked but not crashed yet ( but it is comming , the wolf is at the door ). Anyhow yes you are correct she is going to blow . This was a complete set up from Goverments, Banks , Economic talking heads , Media and greedy real estate agents not connected but happily on board for their own gain . This was a scam from the start . America , Australia , New Zealand and the UK all got these housing schemes and first home buyer subsides and easy finnance at the same time . Yes the same time , this collapse was planned .
These programes were not unique or independent to a single Nation .The string pullers here in Australia have been artificially maintaining our housing market but they are going to cut the chord when they have achieved their objectives . Things will start to show themselves soon after the Election .Our financial year ended last month , just wait for these figures to come out . Many businesses have closed since July 1 and a lot of jobs have gone with them .
As for your comments about housing prices .You are right on the money you can build a new house much better and cheaper than a established one . Why would anyone pay more for a secondhand house with ware and tear when you could have a new one for less .People need to wake up ! When you buy a new car it looses value instantly , it doesn't gain value does it ? Why should houses be any different ? People have overlooked this little piece of commonsense by sharp talking sharks .How can you buy a old house for say 220k three years ago and expect to get 750k for it today ? Where does this extra value of 550k come from as the windows start to stick and the foundations start to move ? Now here is the kicker when you bought it at 220 it had already been through artificial inflation as it was built for 120k ten years before .So in reality when you bought it at 220 you lost 110k plus 25 years of interest . You can't get the imaginary 750k no more , nor the 220k you paid for it (plus interest ) .So what do you do now , you have a house that cost 120 to bulid that through ageing is now worth 37k in the Real New World . But no you have a morgage with a lender for 220k and 25 years of interest to look forward too and thats only if you didn't you refinance for a hunk of worthless metal in the drive way or heaven forbid another house as a rental investment . At best you will be a tennant in what you thought was yours for as long as you can pay your rent to the landlord (Bank) .If not prehaps a cardboard box under a bridge and a debt for life .Enjoy the Brave New World .
