Rand Paul ABDUCTED Female Student While In College, Tried To Force Her To

www.huffingtonpost.com

According to this woman, who requested anonymity because of her current job as a clinical psychologist, "He and Randy came to my house, they knocked on my door, and then they blindfolded me, tied me up, and put me in their car.

I find it interesting that Paul's response so far has been NOT to deny but to state he is going to seek his legal options.

I find the accusations intriguing but I can easily see it as something that went down as simple college friend hijinks in the day but for some reason this female has changed her view on the events.

Maybe I am just curious about "Aqua Bhuda."(sp?)

Make of this story what you will. There is no proof of anything but Paul's reaction is curious at best.

Well I bet it would be impossible to find a more genuine and honest report than that.

How convenient... Yeah if it happened at all it was probably some college prank. I wonder how much she got paid to change it into a kidnapping and abduction... Either way this is an obvious smear tactic and nothing more. I don't think Rand Paul would be stupid enough to run for office with something like this in his background if it were real as accused.

Update: The GQ claims the story has not been refuted... However spokesman for the campaign says:

"National Enquirer type stories about Dr. Paul's teenage years should be left to the tabloids where they belong."

"We are investigating all our options - including Legal ones," Paul aide Jesse Benton emailed Smith. "We will not tolerate drive by Journalism by a writer with a leftist agenda."

And they are threatening the to sue. If that is not a refutation I don't know what is.

The story is pure BS and far to bizarre from an anonymous women

Yep - at the time, and for the last roughly 30yrs or so she had forgotten about it - now that Rand is running for office - well, it suddenly looks like a lucrative story - especially when properly embellished.

EDIT: Read the article - what a pile of drivel - jees, its so lame it needs a wheelchair.

Wow what a sinister group and secret society. Bunch of college kids wearing Groucho Marx noses who like to flout the status quo and the establishment, why what a menace to society...

These people are really reaching for something to smear him with and failing miserably!

lmao
I was thinkin the same thing

if the female poster wanted this to be
anonymous then she wouldn't have
told she was on the swim team as to confirm
this story all you would need to do is get a list
of the female swim team in 1983 and then cross
reference that to clinical psychologist who have
a license to practice and waa-laah. You have
the person in question. And I hope she has
a good lawyer, she's gonna need it. Why wait
27 years to report this incident ???

But I highly doubt that a match exists
as I think it's just propaganda to discredit
the tea party and/or Rand Paul.

No police report filed and not too much of a protest I suppose by the supposed victim. I didn't even detect much of a negative comment. Just a college age prank and she probably was a willing participant. Imagine what would happen if we had all the salacious details of Obama's college years....

Oh yeah I forgot, Obama hired a bunch of lawyers to prevent that. At least we know how Mr. Paul's education was funded, unlike our current president.

If we seriously knew what our so called leaders do with their free time, let alone their wild college years, I'm not sure we'd have any leaders left. Maybe that would be a good thing.

I have to ask if you think he would be stupid enough to run for office with something like being a fake doctor going for him?

Update: The GQ claims the story has not been refuted... However spokesman for the campaign says:

I do not see any refutation here. That is what makes me curious about this story.

They are not threatening to sue, they are looking at their options. If the story was an outright lie, their options would be pretty clear.

Turned this into an Obama thread already? Is that an automatic reaction to questioning the past of Paul? Is it strategy or do you just really like talking about Obama?

Oh yeah I forgot, Obama hired a bunch of lawyers to prevent that. At least we know how Mr. Paul's education was funded, unlike our current president.

That is not actually true and you had access to Obama's college past when he was a candidate and if Paul were to become president he would likely sign the same act as every president before him to seal his records as is standard practice. Now please take your Obama nonsense to a thread about Obama. I am sure you can find one.

If we seriously knew what our so called leaders do with their free time, let alone their wild college years, I'm not sure we'd have any leaders left. Maybe that would be a good thing.

I agree 100% there. I do not think it is as much a matter of Paul doing something nefarious as opposed to the good old politicians out there. I think it is about the levels of exposure some stupid mistakes get as opposed to others. They all seem to get caught with something sooner or later, unfortunately some just much much sooner than they can handle.

The Atlantic Wire:

Problematic, Even In Kentucky The Atlantic's Joshua Green doubts the issue of Paul's degree will register with Kentucky voters "the same way it might if he were running in, say, Cambridge, Massachusetts." The same cannot be said for Zengerle's account "Paul's pot-fueled college antics in a liberal secret society called the NoZe Brotherhood that aspired to blasphemy--and his campaign's non-denial." Writes Green, "That's another matter entirely."

Aqua Budhha? Is that anything like the Flying Spaghetti Monster? Or Bong hits for Jesus?

What's funny, is that if Obama had been a member of a liberal secret society, smoked pot (and a lot of it, apparently), forced pot on classmate, and engaged in some creepy (and one can only assume drug-fueled "aqua buddha" worship, you'd never hear the end of it on Faux News.

Ahahahaha, .... this is laughable at best.

30 years ago !!! is she pressing charges ?? what about the statute of limitations ??

Complete and utter BS, ... why come out 30 years later ??
Anyone with any brains can obviously see that this woman has something to gain, either by suing Paul or being paid to smear him.

Remember when Arnold was running for Governor ??? and all of the sudden women came out from like 10, 20 years ago or something like that to claim they were fondled ?? Well it didn't hurt Arnold too much, ... so I don't think this will have much effect on Paul.

Still though, ... its so tacky and underhanded for people like this and the people paying her to try and derail a politician.

.... at least we know, TPTB are affraid.

Come on! the people who are taking this with more than just a grain of salt really really need to just sit down, chill out, and take a Bong hit.
Dude, Aqua Buddah is genius!
I love it!

She's not pressing charges, just relating the tale. She probably laughed about it later. Or when the THC hit her bloodstream.

I met Arnold once. Biggest egotistical cock ever. Maybe it was the 'roids.

I love some of these comments over at Washington Monthly

---

"Rand fans don't need

to repent

for them to reach

enlightenment!

Aqua Buddha"

---

"As they say, libertarians are Republicans who smoke pot. I didn't realize that included forcing others to smoke it, too. But I guess that fits with their "my way or the highway" attitude towards freedom."

---

""Paul is a weird dude" pretty much nails it. Not weird funny, or weird interesting, but weird disturbing, and fully consistent with his bizarre world-view."

---

"Does Rand think that laws against kidnapping are unconstitutional since they expand the government and are not mentioned explicitly in the constitution?"

---

"So, let me see. This same Rand Paul who is against a woman's right to choose, is the same man who kidnapped a woman when he was in college.

Not to be blunt, but that's seriously bigoted behavior. So, Rand Paul isn't too fond of disabled folks, not too impressed with the Civil Rights movement or Civil Rights protections, and has actually been violent against women.

This is the BEST the GOP can do? This is the embodiment of the Tea Party movement?

*SHUDDER!*"

---

"I'm familiar enough with weed to know that most people don't smoke pot and then think "Yeah, let's go kidnap our friend as a joke". It's usually something along the lines of "Let's call up so-and-so and have him/her bring over some food (and more weed)"."

---

Let's just hope Rand puts the Fed Reserve on the hot seat before his creepy demonic past catches up to him!
