My son needs ATS help

Monday august 9, 2:00 pm eastern time. Liver enzymes went down yesterday - good and platelets went to 200 which is the highest they have been in 8 weeks - great.

Please, please, please don't give up on us. I know threads get stale fast. Even if only 1 or 2 people hang on, it makes a difference.

I promise to respond to the U2Us tonight. I am driving out of town for work. Will be in hotel tonight. Sales job 100% commision.

Imagine choosing between losing your home or staying in the hospital.I am so conflicted. The stress of having to find a home for the 7 of us, moving and the guilt of the realization that I have failed as a provider versus walking away from my son in the torture chamber is a challenge to remain positive.

Dont give up.Everything will be all right you just gotta believe that.Have a little faith and everything will work out for the best.Believe in yourself and believe in your son.Dont doubt yourself either if you dont work your job your son wont get to stay in a hospital where he can be properly monitored and taken care of.You havent failed as a provider either.As long as your a good husband to your wife a loving father to your children you will be an excellant man.You will overcome and so will your son.Dont give up.

Hello brother, we are going to be with Constantine and you as much as you need it. Don't let the enemy divide you and your wife, you both are a team and your team is going to win.

The health of a baby and his family will never get stale for me and my family, dude. My daughter who came out of that hellish bout of severe reflux is now five and makes it her business to pray for sick babies and children. She has been praying for that preemie Duggar baby she heard about and a little girl in the U.K.who got her face mauled by a dog, to name but a couple. We worked on pronouncing Constantine's name yesterday. I wish you could have seen how earnestly she worked at getting his name right for our prayers. Just know that there's a little girl out there who once suffered a lot herself who cares about your little baby. We have bright hopes that your little guy will grow strong and happy and pay the good will forward and add his light to his corner of the world.

As for our family miracles and our prayers, especially those of my daughter, two of her grandparents had really bad test results indicating each of them had serious and spreading cancers. As each one came up for surgery both ended up with absolutely shocked and baffled specialists as well as the referring physicians. Yes, all the signs of cancer vanished and could not be found except as disappearing benign bits on subsequent tests. My daughter knows not to expect results like these for every prayer. We understand there's a bigger picture we can't always see. But we always put in our prayers anyway.

My wife finally got him out this afternoon. We've been given the same meds to administer at home and get blood work on out patient basis.

Another childrens hospital received the summary records and wants him flown immediately to there hospital.

I am reluctant to name the hospital. This latest development occured at 5:00 pm today after our doctor had left.

What is going on. One place says he's well enough to go home and the other is offering to pay for his flight 300 miles away.

We will find out more in the morning. The 2nd hospital has insisted on speaking with our doctor tomorrow morning.

Its almost midnight. I must get to sleep. I had to leave town for work.

This is very serious. I feel his condition is critical and will be documented by 2 hospitals.

This very ill little boy will be undeniable proof that our collective intent will heal him.

For those of you who know something is happening on Earth and who read ATS everyday looking for the thread that will warm the heart of even the most callous skeptic, please join in prayer, or intent and send them to little Sam.

His given name is Constantine Samuel. We call him Sam. I have been reluctant to give his name but I have no reason to hide anything.

I hope his story makes it on the Today Show.

I implore everyone to kindly consider the life of this precious angel. He is us. We are one.

We are all in this journey together. Every human being on our planet is of the same essence of the Father.

Please God, grant me the priveledge to raise this little child. I promise to love him, to clothe and feed him and to instill in him the conviction of Your glory, generousity and love for every man woman and child on Earth, so help me God.

Wow, I don't know what to make of the second hospital wanting to see him, but hopefully if they see him they can give you better or more complete info to base your decisions on. If you're not comfortable giving the name of the second hospital then don't. Just give the info you feel comfortable sharing. I certainly have enough to base prayers on, anyway.

Your son has already given us here a precious gift. For me this here is "church" in it's purest form. That's brothers and sisters united in prayer and intent to send love and healing to a fellow human being. The building run by an embezzling pastor that I left behind, I don't know what that was.

May the creator guide you and your wife in the decisions you have to make. When I get back on a real computer I'll put a link to this thread in my signature like others are doing.

Reiki is very good, I practiced time ago and my wife had recieved Reiki treatment for cancer too. It works.

More good news. Medical results and bureaucratic squabbling between hospitals aside, I am certain Constantine ""Sam" is going to get well.

I have no quantifiable data.his eyes are still yellow and he is not quite as active as normal. Our hospital refuses to release his records. The new hospital says they are stunned.

But, I have a serenity and sense of peace completely contradictory to the facts. Your prayers are working.

A reiki healer came by today and bonded with him. She felt he is getting well. Her hands actually got hot as she passes them over his body.

I can't explain it. As I rocked him to sleep, he layed his head on my chest and the ressonance of my deep lullabies comforted him.

Later, I found myself humming a pure c note. I have never done this before but I felt we were like one person.

I would like to express my deepest and most profound gratitude to everyone. The toll on my marriage has been nearly catostrophic. My wife threatened to lock me out of our home last night because an appointment ran very late and I didn't call

I could not get a cell signal at the customer's house and I don't feel comfortable making personal calls from the customers' homes.

It is completely out of character for my wife. I am looking forward to her mother leaving. Bad vibes. Nattering negativist

There is a HIPAA form that is needed to release the records to you and/or to the other hospital. They stall, they don't have to help you with the forms, they can take 48 hours aat each step of the way. I advise you to spend $150 on an attorney to get the forms and the records immediately. Once an attorney is involved, the hospital will act very quickly. The attorney has the added benefit of possibly finding some malpractice stuff.

Get the medical records, get the second opinion, get it as soon as possible, and don't forget to tell your wife what a good job she is doing, and that you don't mind taking all the stress for her. Make sure she knows there is nothing she can do during this time that you will not absorb and forgive her for. If she believes your words, she will do everything possible to not create any extra stress for you. BUT, you have to do as you promise, she may have a few 'moments.'
