This is the kinda argument a schoolchild would use.

I have been using this site for a very long time. Its probably been in decline for the last twelve months.

I'm using a childish argument? I think you are somewhat of a hypocrite. My experience is children whine and stamp their feet about problems without taking any action to solve them.

How have you contributed to this site to improve the content? The fact that you registered in February of this year is valid in devaluing your previous comments. Personally I think this site like any other you have to work to find the information you regard as useful. Like I said earlier you don't have to read it.

The thread has lots of flags and stars so it seems to be quite popular. I don't think the idea of consolidating information of lots of threads into one could be considered crap. The fact that there are lots of threads in the subject suggests it is a hot topic which people wish to discuss. Like i said earlier message a Mod and register your distaste for the site, your excuse was they'll see it on here? Very lazy...

I have noticed that many of you believe this is some sort of fear mongering thread since there is no current war.

The purpose of this thread is to collect all of the information pertaining to Iran and the other countries involved in any possible future conflict. This makes it easier for people to see where we are in this situation and where we are heading. It is not to provoke a war, to ask for a war or to hope for a war, but let’s not live in fantasy land, we all know the chances of a strike on Iran are terribly high and each month things get worse.

I understand how you interpret this as fear mongering but trust me it's not, but it is always better to be prepared and have information easily readable if/when such an event occurs or to monitor this developing situation to see if track the pace of these threats and actions, hopefully being able to discover if an attack is going to happen beforehand.

Yeah I don’t think your fear mongering I understand what you’re doing and why you’re doing it. My problem with this thread is that there is not going to be a war in Iran anytime soon. It seems like a really bad idea to start a thread about a war, attack, invasion, conflict or whatever u want to call it that hasn’t even happened yet and in all probability won’t happen.

Technically true, but also technically true that there was never a war in Iraq.

I'd also argue that there is indeed a war going on with Iran...a war for our minds and support...a media and propaganda war.

If you look at it like that, it's been going on for a while now...most recently (not going back to our overthrow of their government in the 50s was it?) intensely since the late 90s and in about a 2-3 year ebbing and flowing cycle, last seen to this level in 2007.

Perhaps he means that none of the forces in those areas are of the type or in a position to invade Iran. Of course when you talk about a war with Iran I assume you mean an airstrike. As it would require a very large and obvious build up of air and ground forces in the region to conduct anything more than an air strike. So the flags while pretty for the most part those forces are irrelevant to any possible conflict with Iran.

It was a map showing how surrounded Iran is. Just a simple persepctive, and in addition, it's all related in this chess game.

There are troops in Pakistan. I'm sure he was just trying to get the facts straight.

I just wish the map showed where our ships were in the water as well. I believe we still have some very near the Strait of Hormuz and in the gulf. But I'm not certain, as I've lost track of that.

well with the fires in russia at the moment it at least seems like IF there is a war they will play no direct role in it but the russians have alwase been good at doing things secretly or indirectly and ill look for the thread that mentions it but isnt there suposed to be a new moon soon that would help a strike?also obama gave them tell september to stop there program and from other threads on the issue it was gleaned that the bushwar plant will have the fuel at the plant in mid september so id have to say it will happen before september is over

The consensus among them was that Iran is one to three years away from the being able to create a nuclear weapon.
