Now, in Constitutional Governance, you are GUARANTEED a republic as laid out in the Constitution. Each State is allowed to foment their own Constitution. As long as it does not DIRECTLY deviate from the original Constitution of the united States of America. Thereby each county and city is also restricted by both the US Constitution and the State Constitution.
As a citizen of your REPUBLIC, you should actually know your own Republic Constitution.
For years I mistakenly assumed that the US Constitution was the law of the land. It is, but your state (Republic) Constitution is actually MORE important. There are things that I am finding in my state Constitution that are blowing my mind.

So, you served in World War Two. You were in the First Infantry Division waiting to invade the beaches of Japan.
You knew that there was a projection of at least a million casualties before you got off the beaches.
You're odds of surviving the invasion of Japan was thin.
Oh, wait. You were one of the Americans who died during the Bataan Death Markc.
That was you......No, that wasn't you. I was thinking of someone else.
Never mind: The chickens have come home to roost and Americans are racists for having bombed Hiroshima.....Jeremiah Wright.

Some unlicensed, 95 pound, 14 year old girl getting behind the wheel of an unregistered car after getting piss-drunk off half a Bacardi Breezer and running down some poor schmuck while he stands on his lawn waiting for his dog to finish going to the bathroom is not my idea of a feel-good story. Especially if there's no way to track her down, thanks to a lack of registration.
Or what about that seven year old kid who lead the police on a forty-five minute chase through town, narrowly avoiding several accidents, because he didn't want to go to church with his parents?

Uh-huh. You're all for gun ownership just as long as it is treated as a privilege and not a right and registration is required just like a vehicle, huh? Thanks for sharing you're opinion, brother. As dangerous as that opinion is, I will fight tooth and nail for your right to express it.

Philosophize all you want. Hiroshima and Nagasaki both happened. As did Pearl Harbor. Guadalcanal. Iwo Jima, Etc. Etc.
You might consider spending a little more of your time accepting what has happened, as well as accepting what you can't change. And you can't change that Hiroshima and Nagasaki happened.
I mean, if you want to join Jeremiah Wright in condemning racist as what has happened, sounds to me like you might consider finding another preacher who is more up to date.
But, then again, it's your choice what you do with your time.
I mean, it's great you can read about history you weren't a part of....but.....

In a Newsweek interview, Eisenhower again recalled the meeting with Stimson: "...the Japanese were ready to surrender and it wasn't necessary to hit them with that awful thing." - Ike on Ike, Newsweek, 11/11/63
Code of the West Re-enactment of the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral A new code of behavior was becoming acceptable in the West. People no longer had a duty to retreat when threatened. This was a departure from British common law that said you must have your back to the wall before you could protect yourself with deadly force.[132] In 1876 an Ohio court held if attacked you were not “obligated to fly”. The Indiana Supreme Court upheld the legality of ‘no duty to retreat”.[133] The code of the West dictated that a man did not have to back away from a fight. He could also pursue an adversary even if it resulted in death. He needed to retreat no further than “the air at his back

That happens when people vote in a democrat sorry to say. There are SOME democrats that might believe in the right of citizens to own and posses firearms, but the mayority don't believe in this right.
