maybe I'm stupid here
but to the best of knowledge
no cloud of this size is gonna
disappear in 20 seconds
regardless of the back story.
Clouds may move, or break up
or they even disappear or dissipate,
but not totally disappear in 20 seconds.

And that is the criteria for me to dismiss
the object in this photo as being a cloud.

I'm not joking around, I actually think it's a cloud. Please see my last post with updated pictures. Do you think it could be a cap cloud?

CHA0S.....

As I first said some time back, I think it's probably CGI.

Kind regards

I agree. Especially notice the back right area, where it begins to fade/dissipate as you'd expect a cloud to do.

Interesting...so the simplest explanation isn't the most likely in this case? My photos clearly show the most likely explanation IMO. Why would someone bother going to all the trouble of creating some crappy looking cloud thing that doesn't prove anything? And why would they do it with what looks like expert precision and care? I truly don't think it's been tampered with...the photo looks completely natural to me...

But you're missing the point. You're linking the cloud theory with the backstory, which claims that it disappeared in 20 seconds. For example, a guy could have taken the picture, saw that it looked like a ufo, and made up the rest. It's irrelevant to just determining the nature of the photo.

A small cap cloud with a thin membrane could dissipate within 20 seconds, or lose its form enough to not resemble anything of significance.

Yup.....hoax.
So, how many are are in your resume now?
I really don't even think this is a hoax...even if that photo hasn't been edited, which I don't think it has, I would be more inclined to believe it was just a chance formation...I mean, there are a lot of clouds in the sky...one has gotta look like a disk at some point...there's probably no talk of it in the town because it lost form after a few minutes...

CHA0S.....

Are you saying you think this is a cloud?

Im not sure if its my eyes or not but does the pixelation look slightly different around the object to anyone else?

Its been a long day and my eyes hurt so maybe...maybe not

It could have possibly been a very well patterned chemtrail?

I agree again. But I still think the witness testimony is irrelevant.

LittleIndianJr.....

Hey Mr Duck Amok!!!

Sorry.....where was I.....

Ahh yes.....the pixilation.....it's a bit all over the place, but it could be simply the manner in which the photo has been reproduced. Therefore, I'm not sure we can draw too many conclusions from it.

Kind regards

How about this. It is a light shade suspended buy chain from the ceiling. Here is the proof.

Proof is the most overused word on ATS. I don't think it's a suspended light, and I think it's too precise to be a cloud. I'm still leaning heavily towards CGI, particularly now that they're having difficulty finding witnesses.

Several pposts back someone posted a picture of a suction cup.

Personally i think the suction cup would be a better explanation as that would be a large chain, just my opinion.

But, yes i could see that being some sort of reflection of a lamp

please note the difference in the color of blues
used in this photo. See their is a darker shade
of blue right up against the object. This shade
of blue is darker than the sky blue background.
And it's only around the object. To me that means
it was re-touched and therefore a fake. Darker colors
are used by graphic designers to shadow or highlight
an object. Same process was done here.

This should have been in the hoax forum 2 pages ago.
It's not a UFO as proclaimed in the OP.

Tarifa37.....

G'day!!!

I dunno about that "chain". It's really hard to make out with all that pixilation & noise. It could be there.....

I just ran the picture past a photographic expert.

He disagrees with my opinion it's a CGI creation.

Instead, he agrees with you guys who say it's a reflection of a light. However, he does think the reflection of the light has been "enhanced" with Photoshop.

Kind regards

Boondock-saint.....

Well, whilst I agree with you it's a hoax.....

You & tarifa37 & my expert friend & others all disagree with me about it being a CGI creation, so I guess the numbers are with the "reflection", perhaps enhanced via Photoshop.

However, I'll leave the "door open" just a teensy weensy bit about my "creation by CGI" origin of the "object".

Cheers
