There are so many "Atheists are wrong" threads popping up lately and I know that items such as Noah's Ark have been discussed before. Any time there is a really good discussion about the logistics of the bible fairy tales, they go nowhere or so far off topic, they have to be ended. There are so many stories that can be picked apart but with all the evolution and creationism talk going on suddenly, I would kind of like some final answers to a few things concerning Genesis and the Noah story since both stories are about our origin.

If any fundamentalist Christians out there have some answers, that would be just dandy. I have a bunch of questions but I feel I have to begin with one of the most basic. Where did Cain's wife come from?

Which came first, Adam or the animals and was Eve created at the same time or later?

What did God make the animals out of?

When did the plants show up?

Were their multiple Gods at first?

Just a couple off the top of my head. I am not slamming anyone, I am just asking for some clarity and I do have many more questions. I am sure I will not be the only person with some questions about these stories. I know there are enough members on ATS that believe the bible is a true account of things that have gone down so they are the ones I am really hoping can provide some answers.

All the answers you seek in life will be revealed to you in death.

Or not.

Don't know about the rest, but as Homer Simpson said:
If God didn't want us to eat animals he wouldn't have made them out of meat...

So animals are made out of meat...

If we read Genisis chapter 1 it appears that God created heaven and earth out of the very substance of himself.

He spoke most things into existence as the Bible says, "God said"

Now near the end of the sixth day God had placed Adam which he created from the dust of the earth after he had created everything else, in the Garden of Eden and he made every creature and plant before Adam so that he could see that He God was the creator of all the living things before him, and on that same day he created woman out of Adams rib.

All plants were created on the third day.

As for the ark we have not had physical evidence for all to see,

but the evidence that the flood happened is all over the earth.

The ground is mostly sedimentary rock, there are large fossil beds, there are thousand of polystrate fossils (a fossil that goes though many layers of supposed eras of sedimentary rock) all over the earth. I have personally seen river rock inside a hard rock mine several hundred feet in at an altitude of nearly 6000'.

These rock were larger then basket balls and you could clearly see that they were in a channel of some sort.

The Bible is not clear as to where Cain's wife came from, God could have created one for him, which I doubt as I believe when he quit creating on the sixth day, the law of physics that states that matter can not be created or destroyed went into effect.

So I believe that one of his sisters became his wife. Many will say that is incest, but that would have to be how God had planned for man. Also these people were near perfect in the beginning, so the quote inbreeding would have a great genetic defect.

What did God make the animals out of?
Magic.

When did the plants show up?
The day before the sun ... Wait .. what ?

Were their multiple Gods at first?
Isaiah 46:9 clearly tells us that there is only one god. Just ignore, Psalm 136:2, Psalm 82, Exodus 12:12, etc.

Bible Question:In Genesis 4 after Cain has killed Abel, God comes to him and curses him with a mark. Immediately following this in scripture it says "Cain lay with his wife." Where did Cain's wife come from and also the other people? Cain tells God that he is worried about being killed. I thought only Adam, Eve, Cain, and Abel were alive then.

Day 6
Genesis 1:20-25
20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creeps upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good... 31 And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Genesis 1: 11-13 The third day God created Plants

Animals are made from "dust"

One God in three persons... The Father, Son and Holy Spirit

you know I was an atheist/agnostic/unbeliever at one time and ridiculed christians/bible/god anything and was very popular in that I suppose due to a loss of nearly all my friends once I told them about the one night I had picked up a small green Gideon NT that a woman had left on the bar a few days earlier and as soon as I had begun to open the cover an audible voice as if sitting on my left said-my name, I am Jesus I died for your sins believe in Me and you will never perish-AWESTRUCK I stood to my feet and said yes Lord, then came across these years later-

I tell you the truth, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live.-John5.25

suddenly a bright light from heaven flashed around me. I fell to the ground and heard a voice say to me, 'Saul! Saul! Why do you persecute me?'" 'Who are you, Lord?' I asked. " 'I am Jesus-Acts22.8

For Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died.-2Cor5.14

now as to creation seems there has been a new one created by that same word-

"Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.-Is65.17

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!-2Cor5.17

For it is we who are the circumcision, we who worship by the Spirit of God, who glory in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in the flesh-Phil3.3

So it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being" ; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.-1Cor15.45

As the rain and the snow
come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.-Is55.10

and did you mention something about food?-

He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles of the earth and birds of the air. Then a voice told him, "Get up, Peter. Kill and eat."
"Surely not, Lord!" Peter replied. "I have never eaten anything impure or unclean." The voice spoke to him a second time, "Do not call anything impure that God has made clean."(by the word and prayer)-Acts10.11

and as to the argument of incest or Cains wife? -since it is very clearly evident humanity has grown and is growing, for one to make that claim would be true regardless of beliefs

God is not the Creator, claims academic
The notion of God as the Creator is wrong, claims a top academic, who believes the Bible has been wrongly translated for thousands of years.

Professor Ellen van Wolde, a respected Old Testament scholar and author, claims the first sentence of Genesis "in the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth" is not a true translation of the Hebrew...

...She said she eventually concluded the Hebrew verb "bara", which is used in the first sentence of the book of Genesis, does not mean "to create" but to "spatially separate".

The first sentence should now read "in the beginning God separated the Heaven and the Earth"

www.telegraph.co.uk...

This is in line with the original Sumerian tablets which tell the story Genesis is lifted from. The story details the battle of Tiamat and Marduc which resulted in the creation of the asteroid belt and the placing of the majority of water in the solar system on earth, according to some translations of the sumerian myth.

For true answers you would have to ask the authors, I think.

I don’t think the authors thought there would be so much scrutinizing of their work.

Imagine asking the authors those questions. They would probably stare at you thinking “What is that guy talking about? It is a book”.

I would love to see sources for the answers to these questions come from outside the Bible. (or outside of sources used to “create” the Bible.)

They are loaded questions
If you are to silly enough to answer these straight forward, shows how you follow this crap blindly.

Examples :
Plants on day 3, The sun on day 4 .. you seriously do not see any logical issues with this ?

The Adam / eve / animals question is a classic because for some reason there is 2 different creation myths in Genesis.

Care to explain the use of "gods of Egypt", "God of gods", and "gods" in the following verses ? Psalm 136:2, Psalm 82, Exodus 12:12.

All of you that give your generic answers are showing your complete blind faith in a book with major holes in it.

Holes?

And evolution has no "holes"

Believing anything but the Bible is "silly"
But what do I know...

Forget holes. I think the Bible is just as it should be.

Was your video supposed to answer the OP’s questions?

That man in the video is not the Bible so believing him would be, in your own words, “silly”.

People say the Bible is irrelevant and out of date by modern standards. Many will never read or even hear about what it says.

I'm just posting other points of view from people who can answer the deeper question. Who is God and does He exist?

It is easy to ask questions and even us Christians have them.

I'm posting videos to answer the harder questions...

Humor me...

older texts that were cast out talked about cain taking a wife that was not human. and other books talk about cain taking eve as a wife, and that eve bore the children of adam and cain.

if you really want to tear up god, then think about this.

in the old testament, god was wrathful, vengeful. he destroyed entire towns, every mand woman child and animal. but in the new testament, he is loving and caring and ever forgiving.

why the change of heart? what, jesus saved us all? but we are more heathenous now than ever described in any biblical text. not to mention, god changed. making him decide that he was wrong at some point about how he did buisness.

if god is wrong, then catastrophes and disease are not of his design, and could just be hiccups or errors in his design.

not to mention, if god has the power to create all and to make the heavens and the earth and so on, then why allow for the existance of evil and satan? god is more than capable of wiping eveil and satan from existance itself. so why allow it/him to continue? his existance being tolerated means that there has to be some symbiotic relationship between the two, and some furtherment of each others doctorine by the existance of the other. this means that in a way, satan works for god, and visa versa. this is not what the bible tells us directly, but logic explains it thus.

so god lets people die by the millions and he works hand in hand with satan.

or it could be the oldest bedtime story ever...

The funny thing is I don’t find humor in people posting videos of preachers.

I think what you are trying to say is that you don’t have the answers the OP was looking for.
