What was the end result? All for naught and oceans of misery and blood to obscure that the real motive was theft..
While imagining other universes and realities is fine for sport, it does nothing functional as to matters at hand, and become a diversion that wastes time and avoids responsibility and on this planet the best that has been done is to maintain groups and their particular set of beliefs and cultures within borders and allow neighbors to do the same. The real fact is that perfection on earth is unachievable and if not accomplished by now with far fewer interpersonal conflicts due to propinquity, it aint gonna get any better as even if resources arent actually declining, people in general sure are demanding more of them than ever before.
While in theory depopulation to a point that people will appreciate one another may be a good thing on paper, which of us exactly are willing to volunteer for euthanasia and for what real end? Implicit in every tyrants beliefs are that the draconian measures they intend will not apply to them and their tribe.
Dunno about you, but I find that unacceptable. And if I must die, I will die fighting the concept that anyone automatically has priority over me.
