it was the kids that were doing fine at first then once night fell the adult looters come out and stated being opertunistic if your not aware of the lay out of okland where the main protest was they were infront of a canibas club and im sure they looted that place first the police scanner is curently stateing that a group of cops are surrounded by over a hundred people and the live feed linked to ealyer is on again

yes it did. I even asked for input on the matter and was largely ignored tell now i definatly think the cops stirred this up if u watched the live feed u could hear the cops talking smack and see the same "people in black" talking with police officers i dont think channel 7 even knew it was broadcasting at the time and as soon as i tryed to bring that to there attention they took the offending reporter off the air and cut out the old feed of where the people were on camera in all black stirring things up. i even saw what looked like a protestor sitting infront of the cops peacefully just stand up and walk behind them,AND if you saw the live feed at 1115 the news reported that there reporter and several cops were hit with a FLASH BANG grenade and i dunno about you but i dont know any civillians that have acces to professional flash bang grenades

sorry about spelling and punctuation im typeing this fast and am dealing with personal issues at home at the moment so honestly its the best i can do at the time so if ive offended any one or seemed rude im am deeply sorry its just my dang bipolar talking and not me

News update - Video and pictures of the rioting in oakland can be found here.

Officials said the main instigators appeared to be organized "anarchist" agitators wearing black clothing and hoods. Many of the most aggressive demonstrators smashing the windows of banks and shops were white.

I have seen these same "Anarchists" at every protest all over the bay area, and they are always causing trouble. And no, they are not the police. It's a sad day in Oakland, I was hoping the protesters would respect the wishes of the family and not turn to violence.

Can anyone explain why you would smash out businesses windows in your own neighborhood? Why not take it to the "rich" area, and smash out the windows there, instead of your own hood. That has never made sense to me.

with black hoodies come out to destroy property and
incite violence. There is a reason behind it. It's a show!!!!

What happens in a fight??? EVERYBODY stops what they're doing
to watch the show thereby disrupting the original intent
of the demonstration. It's like watching a video game.
You see violence until you are appalled by it. Then you have
no more stomach for the fight. They take the wind out
of your sails by giving you front row seats to the show.
The best part of this is, the police can claim later that
unidentified protesters did the damage and don't have to
compensate for the damage they did. Blame it on the mob!!!

You provide them with a show.

When you get mad, you feel like hitting something
or breaking something. So you ram your fist into
the wall for revenge. It may hurt your hand but afterward
it makes you feel better cuz you vented. The violent
show they provide gives the mob that venting.
Then the mob retreats after it has been fed.
Riot ends, nobody hurt. The cops are the actors
just like 2 wrestlers in the ring. One plays the bad guy
and one plays the good guy. No matter what side
you are on, your side is being represented .....
by cops.

I came across something interesting on the net. It is supposed to be a first hand account of the situation in Oakland. I have no idea if it is true or not, but it is a very interesting read.

Was there adult supervision? hmmm.
I would guess yes there was.
But it would seem that it was the adults that were in need of the supervision.
But I am curious as to what exactly you are asking sir?
As we both obviously know there were adults there.
Let's not be vague sir we are all or mostly all adults here, let's be quite blunt. say what you mean please as I guess I will need clues as I am not the brightest tool in the shed. Please elaborate.

It seems there were not many pics to be had, that is a good thing.
I almost laughed when I saw the CHP vehicles all taped up with numbers, as if they didn’t already have numbers. And their windows all taped up as if tape would do any better than normal auto glass would do.
Very dramatic effect for the press.
Just how many thousands did Kalifornia pay for all of that duct tape anyway?
I know the stuff ain’t cheap.

Intent is required to prove murder - in a fair and non-corrupt legal system, this would the case, and everyone would be equal before the law.

HOWEVER, this is not the case today.

The corrupt legal system abuses its authority through bias and partiality and self-serving political agendas. It supports and protects the corrupt government and covers up its illegal murders, treason, etc.

It convicts people/corporations according to the above criteria. Destroys evidence which would be damning to TPTB, fabricates evidence to convict innocent people and perpetuate the smoke screens around government instigated false flag events.

There is NO justice here, just fascism. I am amazed that people still believe their is any kind of justice system which is deserving of that name.

Perhaps they are not the police, like the fascist provocateurs dressed in black and masked at the G20 summit weren't police - until the evidence stacked against them and they were forced to admit these were indeed police provocateurs.

The MSM is barely noticing what is going on in Oakland on a national level. A search of Yahoo news at 0730EST this morning only showed articles from last night and a few pictures. CNN has a short article posted at 0650 EST this morning. This doesn't seem to be as bad as historical riots in Oakland, as of yet.

I feel the jury made the incorrect decision. Acording to the CNN article

Mehserle could have been found not guilty, guilty of second-degree murder, guilty of voluntary manslaughter -- or guilty of involuntary manslaughter -- as the jury decided.

I personally feel that at least the voluntary manslaughter if not the murder 2 charge should have been the verdict. Though not an acquital, it's still a slap in the face to the community and the perception of justice. And just how in the hell do you get a jury in Oakland without a single black on it?

Thank you for sharing your pictures. I love how many people with cameras are there to document the agent provocateurs and the police. And thank you OP, I was not aware of this case until now.

The MSM (except locally) don't seem to think this is a newsworthy story. I guess they're trying to not upset the general population of the US somehow.

Funny what few videos there are only show whites getting arrested, by only white cops. Did they pull all the black officers off the riot squad for this?

The Rodney King riots were no doubt in their minds with trying to assess the situation. So it looks like no news is still good news.

Oh, and breaking into Footlocker and stealing shoes - how shallow can people get?
