Illegal Immigration Costs U.S. $113 Billion a Year, Study Finds

When I was 11 months old, I came across the border with my Parents Visa, the Visa Expired some time thereafter not sure when I was a little kid, however my dad was asked by his Employer Solocup to just move so Immigration wouldnt deport him.

Whilst working for Solo Cup my dad had taxes taken from his check and didn't complain of course, he worked his arse off and managed to buy the building I am living in now, he pays his property taxes every year. At the time, there was a great need for a workforce, and my dad says it, "now there's just not enough work with this economy and there's just too many of us".

We are all Naturalized now, thanx to the Amnesty that passed back in the 80's, but I just want to point out, we were never on welfare, we didn't take any hand outs, none of my brothers or sisters are involved in gangs, drugs etc.. all the things "Illegals" are accused of. We were Illegal for a while yet we didn't take hand outs and we own the property, paid for with hard earned cash (my dad started off making about 3 dollars an hour when he started working at Solo Cup).

I understand the reasoning behind some of the things people are saying about Illegals, and I can agree with some things as well; but to assume ALL illegals are costing money, is absurd, I am sure my family is not the only one that was and is not taking hand outs, we pay taxes as well, and the Illegals pay rent wherever they live so that goes to the owner who in turn pays the taxes and such for his property etc.. I say if anything, have a one strike policy, if Caught in an illegal act, definitely deport the person, there's gonna be bad apples wether you are illegal or not, when a criminal commits a crime such as a burglary, rape, murder etc.., I doubt he leaves his calling card so everyone can know he was a legal U.S. Citizen. I say keep and give amnesty to Illegals that contribute to the country and economy and deport the ones mooching, as I am sure not all are mooching, some were hit by the hard times that once contributed greatly to the country and economy.

More damage will be done by blindly deporting everyone. There are scoundrels and scum bags that come across, it's not because of their ethnicity, it's just part of the diversity of humnas in general, as we know there are white, black, chinese and every other race or ethnic scum bags as well.

Many argue that it's not a racial issue, and for some I honestly believe that to be true, but others I get the sense of an underlying racial hatred. Keep humanity in mind, there are more "Illegals" that do contribute to the country and economy than people think.

I'm sure all the members of that group do not buy low-priced fruits and vegetables from their local supermarkets. After all, it would be hypocritical to complain about illegal immigrants while continuing to buy food products that are low priced as a result of being picked by illegal aliens in an economy that has a severe labor shortage in the agricultural field.

On April 19, 2000, 16 Republican Senators sent a letter to colleagues in support of Senator Abraham, charging that FAIR was “engaging in a smear campaign against immigrants in general and one of our colleagues in particular.” The open letter stated: “One of the great privileges of being an American is the right to say things that are stupid and even offensive; FAIR is clearly exercising that right. However, other Americans, even U.S. senators, have an equal right — indeed, responsibility — to speak out in response. We need them just as much as they need us. We can scream and holler all day long about illegals but someone DOES want them here. It's slavery except you're getting paid. Sometimes you don't even get paid. They just drop you off and drive away.

Someone is Joe Blow the independant contractor who doesn't want to pay health insurance. Someone is Jane Blow who hires a maid and doesn't pay taxes. Someone is Governor Blow who makes illegal immigration a hot topic just so they can get votes.

I am not against people coming here to better their lives, but we need to know who they are, and the rules of law need to be enforced.

Rouge / terrorist state people need to be screened.

College students on student visas who disappeared while studying such things as nuclear physics, nuclear microbiology, etc etc need to be found asap to find out who they are now, and what they are currently doing.

Anchor baby syndrome needs to be stopped, because we are the only nation that recognizes it, while all the others do not.

Re: our open border with Mexico, its not a matter of if the OTM's will carry across the border nuclear chemical or biological weapones, its a matter of when.

And, Mexico is a Failed state, on our border, We need to impose martial law upon them and clean out the OTM's, and Drug Cartels, then run them ourselves as a US territory. Subject to their own laws, but under our jurisdiction.

Wasn't any different since Reagan. All the presidents since have supported illegal immigration by at the very least turning a blind eye. Some encouraged it. Think about it.

Also instead of blanket Amnesty, which is Comprehensive Immigration Reform, why dont we start a movement going state to state to demand every illegal undocumented worker be required within only months to go sign up for naturalized immigration, pay the fees associated, then weed out those who are criminals, drug pushers, prostitutes, spys, etc etc, it can be done this simple, if we demand it.

I live in AZ and can tell you this is probably an accurate figure. Schools and hospitals go bankrupt and have huge deficits/budget issues from people willing to look the other way about breaking a FEDERAL LAW. Thats right know your laws, it is a federal law on the books that AZ must enforce since no one else will, including ICE. As states we enforce many federal laws so why pick and choose? Politics? Blur the borders for NWO "international government and law?" I am so sick of hearing people upset over senate bill 1070. Colorado, California, Mexico, Federal government, and Peggy West.
