I don't know about 23, but I have an inkling towards the number 33, thats what I always notice and it always pops up in life. That and the number 7, which is prominent in revelaions, they are the only 2 numbers that I feel are special.

Who knows if numbers can actually have an effect on anything........there a some scientists and religios factions that believe numbers are much more "involved" than we think, affecting us and the world around as, it's all very strange

actually, what we find in nature is the fibonacci sequence. start with one, add it to itself, then always add the two previous numbers to get the next one. 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, etc.

Now if someone tries to give you a mark with the number 23 on it or a number that adds up to it, I might be a tad bit concerned. Right now however, this is really a petty thread and is kind of reminding me of the cat you feed once that persist on coming back for more..

"23" is a cultural meme, started by Robert Anton Wilson, as stated elsewhere in this thread. I found the book about 6 years ago, read it and immediately went online to check the significance of teh number 23. There was NOTHING except the principia discordia site, dedicated to Wilson's work.

You should also look for FNORD, if your're intersted.

The golden mean/section, is the ratio 1/1.618

The Human body is laid out to this ratio, as is much else in nature. The Legs are 1.618 times longer than the torso, the forearm is 1.618 times longer than the upper arm, etc.
