Not a poke at you but the phrase, Judaism in terms of percapita adherents is not a major religion, I dare say that in Africa there will be other tribal religions with as many adherents, there just aren't that many Jews.

Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism and Shinto are all much bigger, almost as annoying as the new phrase JudeoChristian as far as I can tell if Jesus existed he was trying to over throw what is now called the Old Testament and the Pharisees.

Israel are blockaded? Are they forgetting that they intercepted an aid ship heading to Iran? Are they forgetting the amount of military support the USA gives them? Are they forgetting they have a very decent standard of living? Are they also forgetting the amount of political power they have on a global scale, which is shocking considering Israel does hardly anything for the world apart from cause trouble.

Poor little Israel.

Greetings.....all you are spewing is revisionist history....This land was given to those who would cultivate and procreate according to Gods plan for mankind....Not to a people who bowed down to trees,worshipped animals,venerated heavenly bodies eg.the sun....In addition the disproportionate numbers of so called native americans was so miniscuel they could not have populated or cultivated the vast tracks of land that is known today as the United States....Just think ....had the European settlers not been so prolific....we could be chucking spears at jet aircraft or dieing of deseases that are to cured by over the counter drugs,,and so on...

Oh, God IS punishing the US. Before you said that God WILL punish the US. So then we don't have to worry about turning our backs on Israel since the punishment is already in process, eh? I'm all for it.

For starters, we could really use that $30 billion a year of taxpayer monies we're sending their way right here at home, for honest to god Americans who can't find a job. Yeah, we've tried 60 years of being Israel's best buddy and watched the US go down the crapper. Might as well see what happens when we keep our money and quit basing our Middle East foreign policy on what's good for Israel and bad for everyone else.

America is full of Christian zealots so it doesn't really surprise me that there are a couple here on ATS too. The only reason your kind support Israel is because you want them to rebuild the temple to allow the second coming of happening.

Let me enlighten you, people who support crimes against humanity will not pass final judgment.

I just Google Earthed the mideast. Seems like a lot of empty land around there. Why is it everybody want's the little piece of sand Israel sits on? Kind of confusing to me unless there is anti-Semitism involved. Of course based on this thread, I see Israel has sooooo many supporters that just couldn't be true.

Washington-Israel is embarking on a more aggressive approach to the war on terror that will include targeted killings in the United States and other friendly countries, former Israeli intelligence officials said.

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has forbidden the practice until now, these sources said, on condition of anonymity.

The Israeli statements were confirmed by more than half a dozen U.S. foreign policy and intelligence officials.

With the appointment of Meier Dagan, the new director of the Mossad, Israel's secret intelligence service, Sharon is preparing "a huge" budget increase for the spy agency as part of a "tougher stance in fighting the global jihad", one Israeli official said.

Since Sharon became Prime Minister, Tel Aviv has limited it's practice of targeted killings to the West Bank and Gaza because "no one wanted such operations on their territory", a former Israeli official said.

Another former Israeli government official said that under Sharon, "diplomatic constraints have prevented the Mossad from carrying out 'preventive operations' on the soil of friendly countries until now."

He said that Sharon is "reversing that policy, even if it risks complications to Israel's bilateral relations".

A former Israeli military intelligence source agreed: "What Sharon wants is a much more extensive and tough approach to global terrorism, and this includes greater operational maneuverability".

Does this mean assassinations on the soil of allies? "It does," he said.

"Mossad is definitely being beefed up," a U.S. government official said of the Israeli agency's budget increase. He declined to comment on the geographic expansion of targeted killings.

An FBI spokesman only said: "This is a policy matter. We only enforce federal laws."

A congressional staffer with knowledge of intelligence matters said, "I don't know on what basis we would be able to protest Israeli's actions."

I would add to this to say that it seems part of the jewish charecteristic
to always play the victim. I'm not antisemetic by anything remote. Just
my observance of a people stated. They seem to be very good at diplomacy thru sympathy. I've noticed. Diplomacy being the art of having someone else get your way.

I've heard this so many times... I really need to research it - find out exactly why it seems there are so many who believe in this, well, theory...

Like so many other people you hear criticism of Israel and immediately cry anti-semitism. This is an utterly dishonest tactic, used by those who have no real counter argument for Israels actions.

Personally i don't hate Jewish people, actually i don't have any feelings regarding any race, yet here i sit criticising Israel. That is because a country is not a race and the actions a country takes should not be used to criticise a race of people.

Jewish people = Fine by me as long as they don't hurt anyone, that's the same feelings i have toward any person or group. I would befriend a Jewish person as quickly as a Muslim one.

Israel = A horribly little country, run by some rather unpleasant individuals who are propogating violence throughout the middle east. If Israel didn't exist the region would be a lot more peaceful. The Jewish people do not need a "safe zone" anymore.

It's like it's hard coded into peoples DNA to hate Jews, even now, just look at the filthy hate for them in this thread. What do the Jews do? Roll over and play dead? Die? Move? Israel is their home no matter who likes it, the only way out is either the Muslims stop attacking or they are all exterminated. Sounds like you pigs want them exterminated. I've never been religious but it's so creepy how they knew, how where ever Jews go they are vilified, wore down and slaughtered, all with popular support, even from the supposedly advanced peoples such as yourselves.
