Common sense is a gift from the holy Spirit to you, because it's good for you.

Faith is not to be confused with blindness. Blindness is ignorance of some thing that can be seen only with common sense.

To say the common sense is not good for God is yet another blind assumption said for no reason at all.

How can Common sense be mixed with any faith? Life itself is against common sense.

Faith is not a requirement of the father, anyone can have faith in anything even that there once was an old lady who lives in a shoe.

Kids have faith that Santa will bring them and Xbox with call of duty because some dead due was born at that day they say.

Some people have more faith than you will possibly ever know that they will get 70 virgins because they killed themselves along with a lot of innocent people for God.

Some stone adulterers to death despite being sinners in secret because of their faith.

There is a war in the middle east because of the strong faith these people have and there has been for thousands of years.

If any of these people had Common Sense these things would not be.

Faith is faith and the holy spirit keeps that faith on a sensible path.

But this is just what I think, you sould make up your own mind about this and you have free will to think about it by not using common sense or by using it.

I had a very very similar conversation about architecture on the subject of "embodiment" versus "representation". To me, they are the same. To him, different.

Common sense moves me to a godless socialist nation. To try and make man God.

Faith tells me otherwise.

I think that they worship what they think is God, though you're right about them being monotheistic, but they no doubt have at least a few conflicting ideas about God/Allah/YWVH. My main point sir, is that I don't submit to and/or worship what I don't know for sure, nor do I think any religious systems have it figured.
