Hello,

My mother is a professional astrologer of over 40 years living in the Cincinnati area. She did my chart when I was 16. (If you are interested in having a reading done over the phone by someone who actually knows what she's talking about instead of using computer software which doesn't add in the knowledge of life experiences, you can email me, and I'll give you her info.) I am a Taurus with Gemini ascending and my moon is in Leo. I have a lot of similarities to you. As you probably know, the Leo's are a bit dramatic; enjoy attention; are great performers. I just threw that out since you're a Leo and will relish all the attention you're about to receive. : ) wink, wink. Your 'natal chart' is where the planets and stars were the moment you arrived on the planet. The 'transiting chart' is basically laid over the natal chart to see where things were when you were born and where they are now. This can show the person's development through life's ups and downs.

I think it's great that you set up this thread. Everything is connected on some level. Experiencing this over the years, I can say that this information is fairly accurate. Knowing when I am under certain aspects helps me to be weary when needed. It would be like choosing between a head on collision or stubbing your toe. You know something is going to happen, so you can be extra careful and take the lesser of those situations. Yes, I know you'll all cry 'self-fulfilling prophecy'...nope, not true. I have actually plotted events that happened and written down what I thought was the cause such as my refrigerator, oven, toaster, ac in my car all breaking within a few weeks of each other. Later, I asked my mom where Mercury was in relation to my chart. She told me it was adversely affecting my chart. Mercury rules electrical appliances (if I am remembering correctly). It's adverse affects were apparent in the breaking down of my appliances. I've also asked, after the fact, about people coming back into my life whom I haven't seen in a long time. She told me this was the affect of Saturn in my chart. Saturn brings things back from the past...either old lessons or people.

It's very interesting. I don't ask on a daily basis about this stuff because I truly believe you should just go with the flow. You can, however, ask when is the best time to make a financial decision or something along those lines.

I really don't consider myself as having much of Cancer's traits or really much of Gemini's. I've alway's concider myself more of a 'Heintz 57'. This will be interesting. I will definitely give you some feedback related to your findings.

Hello Lily!

The Sun actually rose in Capricorn along with some strong energies by its side. Venus, Mercury, an Jupiter all are in your solar sign.

Mars in Aries.

Saturn is actually in Orion! This is very interesting to me, if a planet is going to be outside of the wheel, Orion is the strongest sign outside the wheel....but again like I said in my OP....it really is for the person to figure out the relation and if there is something more there for them to see.

Uranus and Pluto are in Virgo.

Moon is in Sagittarius, and you are born 1 day before a full moon.

I have a Libra daughter,a Leo daughter,a Taurean daughter and a Cancerian son and my partner is also a Libra.
My eldest and youngest daughter were both born on the 18th,my sister and mother were born on the 2nd,my partner and i were both born on the 22nd,my father and his wife both the 11th,my middle daughter and her father both the 7th so that's always made me wonder about the significance of dates of birth and the planetary influences!

I'd be very interested(and eternally grateful!)if you could look into the following dates at some point when you're not so busy(totally understand if you can't though!),i'm mainly interested to see if we have any 'shared' alignments and if so,what that indicates.We're in the UK.

Hey leovirgo, I would be interested in seeing what my sign really is. I was born oct 6th 1974. I'm a libra according to the fixed zodiac, wa wondering if I was under the way you do it. Ill keep this short...Like I noted in my OP, Im not here to debate about general use of astrology. I noticed you did not offer a date, and that is fine...but if you did, it would offer you different info then what I will find.

Astronomy is math, its the path of the planets and the sun and moon, it HAS to use their exact positions. Many careers count on astronomy to be accurate...one of those careers in not astrology

Astrologist use positions that are out of date and only 20% of the time match up anymore.

This is why I dont do readings. Its very similar to WHY a person must choose their own religion or spiritual path...it is PERSONAL. You must seek within what things mean to YOU....what things stand out to YOU....not what someone else tells you about yourself. Im a giver by the way, not a receiver....I go without attention all through my life, but love to give it to others. It is very important for people to seek out what resonates with them...offering labels to people of what they SHOULD be can be dangerous.

Learning about your cosmic influences is not something done in a day, its done over a life time.

If your not willing to step out and observe and connect, literally, to them....there is really no reason to find out your information.

But each to their own....

i was born 01/18/1989 in the morning. My sign is Capricorn according to the fixed chart. This has always resonated with me but it would be interesting to me to find out where some of the other planets were and what not

This has me hooked, I have been trying to research more all day. Thanks again LeoVirg. Do you have any pointers to some good sites and books?

Before I go further, I want to offer a image to all of you who really want to look at this in a serious way. I want you to see the differences in the tropical zodiac wheel (the one you read in most mag. and newspapers) , the sidereal (its a bit closer on the mark but still leaves out Ophiuchus), and the Solar Signs positions as they truly stand in the sky, including the amount of space they take up (they all do NOT have equal amount of sapce, another blunder of astrology).




Now...what you can use this for (using the outside circle, the true placements to each other) is to find out how the planets, moon, and sun sit, relative to each other. Lets say you know that your Sun was in Leo....and the moon was in Aquarius....you can look and see that the sun and moon were opposite of each other.

You can look on the inner circle, find out why tropical astrology tells you what you are...and look on the outside circle, and see why I am telling you what you are.

And another note I mentioned in a post above me....I will try to posts now and then a 'daily chart' for one reason. If you are serious about connecting to the cosmos, your going to need to step outside!

You dont have to be crazy about it or do it alot (but the more the better). A daily chart can offer you directions to face....like right now....for all Leos and Virgos....its a great time to 'face' your direction of energy.

In the west, after the sun goes down, a bright star (planet) will appear, there is no mistaken her for what she is, it is Venus. Venus is sitting in Leo right now. Look up to the left just a tad...and you will see bright Mars, who is also in Leo right now. For Virgos or those with a energy in Virgo on their birth.....look up to the left again of Mars....just a tad, you will see a fainter light but still viewable....this is Saturn. Saturn is sitting in Virgo.

Lets say on your birth Saturn was in Virgo....and now again its in Virgo. GO LOOK AND FACE IT....be humble, and just 'say hi'

I noticed I have several u2u's also...that is fine....but just be patient plz....
