How about an organized pre planned uprising, not against the US but against BP?
Give them say 1 month to start cleanup and stop using chemicals or we could hire boats to go meet them and expel them from the site.
Of course we would need hard core scientific proof that the Corexit is toxic and bad in the long run. We would also need a staging point and some good organization.
This would not be an act against the US just an act against a corrupt corporation.
Any thoughts on how to make this bird fly?

That's funny, I was actually watching an interview with this guy where he stated that same thing. It actually makes sense and can explain a lot of BP's behavior. What a joke! I can't beleive that we are letting them do this. Actually, I can believe it.

Really, do you believe that?
I will point at history.

Here
and HERE

Your argument is faulty.

Notice the date of when the castle was stormed.

How did this discussion disintegrate from a whistleblowing discussion to an American bashing one? I like how some guy who doesn't even live in the United States and is completely clueless to the way of life here wants to incite us to violence. You obviously don't know how violence is dealt with.

The fact of the matter is at the moment there is nothing we can do. Most of the nation is poor and the poor live in the pocket books of the government. Until the government can no longer afford welfare the majority of the US populace will not bite the hand that feeds it. The time will come when the government will not be able to afford welfare and those Americans who believe they are entitled to free money will cause violence. That's when we will be able to make things happen. Welfare is the reason that the American people do not question government.

The government likewise will not bite the corporations' hand that feed them. Its a vicious circle of ever expanding corporatism.

Plus a violent backlash against the current government will bring nothing but bloodshed for hundreds or thousands of Americans. It will change nothing. Those puppets up there, POTUS and all are not running the show anyway. It may end up just making TPTB plan move forward even faster.

Deny ignorance does not mean "incite violence".

Truly, this whole affair makes me sick to my stomache. Who gives a flying crap about BP? How about caring about the life and lives being destroyed? The U.S. government is supposed to serve and protect its citizens. Anyone who believes that is happening is retarded. Competitive capitalism and corporatism is a fundamentally flawed cesspool that is destroying this planet, and the U.S. is leading the charge. Democracy my ASS!

What about all the americans not on welfare?
Majoriy of America is NOT on welfare, so your assumption is incorrect.

And welfare is NOT the reason they don't question govt.
They don't question govt. because some are sheeple, others are busy, others don't have time and others don't care while some would consider it anti-american.

Gotta love my homeland, the Corporate states of America.

Where's your head? BP is awful. They are dishonest. But they aren't getting off "Scott Free". They are spending Billions to fix this mess.

We as Americans are too lazy to do anything. [I'm American]. Instead we flock to the beaches to see the oil spill, not to help. We the Americans are looking for ways to make money from this tragedy. YES WE ARE. We want to sue anything and everything we can as an outcome to this. 20 Billion as a relief aid to the fishermen? NOPE. EVERY Fisherman who is working down their, works for BP now. Who was handed that 20 Billion? Not the people. The first oyster with oil was found 2 weeks ago by a high school kid. He sued the restaurant that served it to him, not even taking into account the oil in this oyster is there because of BP. We the Americans have not even put up a rally or a protest, and if we have. IT"S BEING CENSORED BY THE MEDIA as to keep the masses from joining in on the rally or protest. The most damning thing done so far is a woman who poured fake oil on herself when CEO of BP was being questioned by the house. IT"S BEEN PROVEN and I quote "A misjudgment of placing a single string casing; is what caused the rupture of GAS before the oil even started flowing, The blowing up of the rig was due to the misuse of the cementing mud-". Cementing Mud wasn't used when the GAS had already blown out the safety valve, so what they did was basically say "!@#$ IT".

I am an American and I don't see # from Americans. Far as I see it the person to help the most is Anderson Cooper... I also only see refugee's with BP uniforms on helping in the clean up. But that's all were hearing about. Is the clean up.

Well that's my opinion and I'm sticking to it. You can say I'm wrong. I don't disagree with welfare, but if your livelihood depends on the company that's writing your paycheck you are not going to jeopardize your paycheck. Let's expand welfare to: welfare, wic, unemployment, free clinics, medicare, medicaid, state-run medical programs, social security, free benefits for government employees, VA hospitals, retirement programs for government employees, anyone that the government cuts a paycheck for, all the businesses that rely on government contracts for their bottom line and the employees that rely on those businesses for their livelihood and so on and so forth. So I didn't mean welfare I meant "government money" in general. My mistake I used the wrong terminology.

Maybe if you think about that you'll see. How many people would be broke and lose their jobs and threaten their livelihood at the possibility of an overthrowing of the current government.

you are right man, good question ... you up there are fighting with the most modern weapons, the Taliban, the Iraqis, the everybodies you don't like, but fighting such a big desaster as now with that BP continuing oil spill : oh mama, oh sweet lord, help us please, on their knees, nobody can fight this ????? nobody does revolt and ask for repressiv actions against BP : why nobody from BP yet in jail ??????
USA looks very weak in this ! very very weak !! the most modern country on earth, the most pitty reaction here, the most lack of preventiv maesures to prevent such a disaster !!! why ?? dollars dollars $$$$$ full in their eyes, capitalism will kill itself did say Lenin ( or was it Marx ? ) : we see it happen before our eyes !!! capitalism kills the world, little bit by little bit, and the ne-cons did prepare the way it could happen by diminishing the influence of state control and legislation !!
poor USA, $$$$$ everywhere, petrol stinking dollars, but no good food any longer, no fish, no good air, just stinking dollars to eat !!! Peace.

This must be one of the most ignorant posts here

If truly most americans and even the rednecks knew it, then yeah, you should gather up, walk to the white house, and throw them out. When the army/police says no, you take to your guns. You outnumber them 100000:1, so it should not be that hard.

Actually, "riots" are the only thing that has ever proven effective.

Recall the American revolution, or the French Revolution?

The mythology is that the problem can be solved with dollars and votes, but your dollars are already worth ZERO compared to corporate sponsorship of politicians, and your votes are meaningless when both parties candidates are being held up by the same special interests.

This has been painfully obvious to anyone paying attention from the very first day that Corexit was employed. I am amazed that we need a "Whistleblower" and "Hearing" to draw this conclusion. Americans are truly stupid!
Hahaha...I can't help but agree...you've let this come way too far...You let BP do whatever they want, they push you around, and you all act like little girls...you tell them to stop spraying dispersants, but that doesn't alter their actions in the slightest...I can't help but sit here and laugh at the ridiculousness of the situation you've created for yourselves...in fact, I think it's deserved if you guys are so stupid to let them do this...but then again, it isn't just a problem you've created for yourself, it's a problem you'll create for the whole world if you don't get your $#!7 in gear and accept help...this is getting silly now...grow some balls and tell BP how things are going to happen...they can't go on profiting whilst hiding the the extent of the spill, when they should be working vigorously to fix it...stop them spraying that $#!7 in the water, remove them completely from the site, and get a team of trustworthy people who know what they're doing to implement any one of the dozens of plans I've seen which are more effective than this non-solution BP has going...

we dont know the facts. we dont know who our enemy is. is it obama? the fed? bp? all of the above? is it you? is it me? if the average citizen feels like i do, they are fed up and ready to fight but we are so lied to by everyone we don't know how to feel about anything. all we no is it aint the truth. why is our government so limpd**k about making bp do the right thing? who works for who?

Your wallet doesn't matter as money is not real anyway, and if you think your vote counts you are really in for a suprise.

THIS is what I personally don't understand about most Americans. Do you have ANY clue as to how we got to where we are politically, socially, and spiritually?

We have been duped as our parents and grandparents were duped. And most people STILL eat it all up and say thank you government. How truly sad.

Not to get off topic. But this is the beginning of the end of the corporate Elite and their children. May God/Nature have mercy on their souls......NOT!!!!

Well you as an American should know how much pur economy and indeed our livelihoods rely on the government. The reasons Americans won't do anything to change the government is because of that. Its complacency not laziness. They are two different things. My family relies on my paycheck, I rely on my company for my paycheck, my company relies on the government in order to pay me.

And yes we should help with the BP spill clean up but not all of us have money, time and the resources to help. I cannot afford to fly to the gulf and take unpaid time off work to help clean up. I dont have money to donate either. I have no pull within the government to get anything done nor to get my opinion listened to, and most likely even if I did abandon my paycheck and leave my family homeless and hungry, I would be turned away from helping by emergency services because I have no resources nor any expertise to offer. Only my own two hands.

It is not laziness, it is inability.

We are ALL TRYING TO MAKE A LIVING. Maybe you forget that.

in america you all do have one thing we dont you have to file your own taxes which reportedly pay the salaries of those that apparently are for the people by the people of the people so next tax time get a nationwide campaign going not to file your taxes i never said you wouldnt or dont pay them just delay them nationwide for 12 months but u need to start an online sposor list so enough of you do it so the whole administration takes note or you can wait to riot because by the end of the year your major military forces will be in the middle east and most the national gaurd what you have developing is another vietnam but in essance is an isreali sparked world war 3 and obama is mabus mabus being the overlap of bush obama a black face on a white regime but worse with attitude and that oil slick iant ever gonna be stopped its going to contaminate the whole atlantic and the gasses coming out of it will doin the southern united states but they knew that thats why it happend it was an american company running it bp just wrote and collected the cheques they needed a way to round up the southern states and stick them all in fema camps as you guys can kik ass and your all armed the northern states are better policed and more controlable and dont let my name put you off i lived in america for the last 17 years and well i fought the good fight for the american people and the powers that bee know the american people are not acountable for the american government but the ones i comunicate with for three years tried to get me out of the usa and i offerd to die for my cause i said im staying kill me but in the end it became so "PARANORMALLY" unbearable i had to leave so something "catastrophic" is going to happen there and if they start trying to ship you off to camps well perhaps your dead anyway the nazis didnt die they just moved to america and founded the cia and nasa and God knows what else but dont take my word for it look at american history/policy since second world war and look at german policy/history before second world war not to mention prescot bush bankrolling adolf and then his family run america for last 25 years "THINK" the greatest opposision to nazis was american/british people so you kill them and tax them to death from the inside out then who in the world will oppose you then too funny so in the face no one can see it an american catastrophe the british are responsible for and then you start a world war scale war that involves all the british and all the americans so there men die and there countries are bankrupt all by a circle of probably 100/200 individuals but that would be the possessed elite of the world that control evrything and no body will stand up to them ...AND to think all those great men that have died over the years for LIBERTY and FREEDOM

what have you seen KINGs of the earth what have YE been promised??
and iron men the tail will do and iron cart and carriage too
i promise you that.
