So now its the music companies fault that you can not take care of your purchases... LMFAO.. I find it hard not to call you guys names..

That has to be the single dumbest argument I have ever heard!!!

The music/movie industry is hiring the WRONG people to "fight" this!!

They are waging a war they cannot win. Does anyone really believe they can shut down all the sites? I could post 20+ just from the top of my head, some of them were closed down before, and just came back after a while. The Piratebay was shut down last year, yet it's still a fully functional torrent website.

The industry experts need to realize one thing: THEY CAN'T STOP THE SITES!!

If they realized that, they could start using their time productively and figure out a new way to work within this new "system". There ARE alternative revenue streams available that exploit the "new media"...Spotify proves that! Yet they act like Don Quichote and chase windmills.

The admin of Ninjavideo wrote a nice manifesto, and I agree to 99% with him/her:

Out of pure curiosity... Why would you buy a "crappy" CD in the first place.... Such a simple concept.. If you dont like it.... Dont buy it!!

This was the wrong thread for me to look into.. Simply because I am annoyed by ignorance!

If airplanes were fools ...this thread would be JFK airport!

Just like anything else in life.. You buy it... you use it.... you screw it up.... Its gone!!!!

Your solution is to steal it... wow...wow..wow

Would you have said the same thing about slavery?
Do you know how hard it is to change laws?
No, instead, people are declared the problem. it's never the government, is it?

Sooo the ignorance gets even deeper.. Did you just compare stealing cd's with slavery? Ok I am done here... this thread has attracted the bottom of the barrel!

We can discuss legality all we want, it doesn't change the fact that the movement is unstoppable. I mean, comon', they've been trying since the emergence of Napster, and look where we are today!

It's like the guys outlawing smoking pot in Switzerland. Smoking pot is clearly illegal, yet it doesn't stop anyone really. I can go to any major city without having ever been there, and I have a 100% guarantee to find some pot. The cops are realizing this, so now there's talk about legalizing and CONTROLLING it rather than trying to fight a war they cannot win.

No, I was trying to show you that sometimes unjust laws are created that should be abolished.

Please read.... Pick your battles

Dear little Jonny,

Daddy wishes he could be there for your first day of school, and your first day tee ball. But I am sitting in prison...because I was willing to gamble my time with you over a free movie. I apologise that your mom and I can't send you to college because I thought a movie was more important than your education..... It was a good movie though.. I hope that your moms new boyfriend is good to you.. Daddys new friends are mean and make daddy play games that he doesn't want to play! I hope you pass your driving test on the first try! Sometime around your 3rd marrige daddy will be getting out of prison, stay tuned for more from your daddy!

I hope you understood while you were growing up that I had to prove a point.. that point was "movie companies make enough money" I hope you didnt miss me to much!

It really looks like you're trying to threaten people in this thread that if they download movies they're going to go to jail.
Do you happen to work for the movie industry?

Your sticking point should be the word "LAW" until you have changed it ...you are breaking the law.. How hard is that to understand?

Don't forget that you would still make MILLIONS from your property regardless of who stole it...because you still have it to make all that lovely money.

The ONLY reason obsene amounts are invested in the first place is to make EVEN MORE MILLIONS in the second place. There is low risk and high gain for the fat cats.

so its their money, they can spend and invest in what they like, they also own the rights to it. so what gives you the right to steel it from them, did you spend your money on it, did you pay the actors, camera men, sound techs, cgi techs, editors, screeners, or the blah blah blahs you spoke of, no i dont think so, you just dont want to pay for something so you steel it.

its not like your hungry and stole to feed your family, you stole something that you can live with out a movie. you dont need a movie to stay alive. you need other things to stay alive, but a flippin movie, man whats wrong with people, cant see that they are wrong in every sense

How hard is it to understand that the law is pointless and petty?
Show me a victim of this law being violated please.

I dont have to work for a movie company to know that if you break a law... you go to jail. Can you afford to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to am movie company?

Is that movie or CD worth your freedom?? Like I have said... If you dont like the law...work to have it changed, or you are risking your financial well being and your freedom. FACT!!!!

I actually work for a hockey company... we prosecute theives to the fullest extent of the law..

you only feel that way because you have never created anything worth any value.

I love it, an entire post where you do nothing but insult me, please leave this thread and take your movie industry ass back to the office meeting so you can find out how to finally nail these punks who keep lowering your global profit from 200 million to 190 million.
Oh, also, you still haven't shown me a victim of this ''crime''
