But isnt this recent attack on scientology just a political platform for Nick Xenophon? I mean his requests for inquiries were shot down more than once.

well, that is what scientology states, but I was informed that besides the public Xenophon inquiry in scientology's charitable status in Australia, there is also a criminal inquiry, also in australia.
