So they can get the oil from the field. You actually think they been trying to plug this thing? They have been sitting here trying to think of ways to divert the well so they can get more oil, if not get it from this well if possible.

They say the oil just "dissolved and evaporated" too. That doesn't mean its true. Of course it looks green. The color filter proves that. I am going to fool around with Windows Media player and try to get a comparison shot.

EDIT: no go on the color settings...just too manipulated for Windows Media.

I just cant work out how theyre going to do this. And for a procedure thats the last option and a supposed definite for ending this, its causing an awful lot of problems already and it aint even begun yet. The original BOP must be absolutely battered for them to risk doing this. In fact, if theres a big leak(s) further down the pipe thats causing the problems, a brand new BOP isnt going to make a slight difference to that one is it?

www.testtherain.com (this is Cloud's site)

HERE is how they LIE...

Report says nearly 80 percent of oil still in Gulf
August 17, 2010

A new report from the scientist of the University of Georgia are saying that 79% of the oil that was released into the Gulf is still there and will affect the ecosystem. This is contrary to the report just released by Gov “Scientist” who say that all but 25% of the oil has either evaporated, skimmed or has been dispersed.

Among the University of Georgia’s findings are those scientist of the University of Florida who found toxic oil and dispersant sitting on the Gulf floor only 40 miles away from Panama City.

The question that should be brought up ……”Why is the Government covering up the truth?”

Here's another reference re the Anti-Freeze...

Using methanol as an antifreeze to prevent hydrate formation is the "heavy-hammer," tried-and-true approach to combating gas hydrates, says Timothy Collett, a research geologist at the U.S. Geological Survey, and it's that substance that BP will inject into the smaller containment dome.

I still don't think what we see on enterprise 2 is anti freeze...It is not acting like anti freeze. The color of this structure is white, not yellow. The filter adds the yellow/green tint to it. That much I can get by a slight adjustment on Windows media. But the stuff coming from it darkens.

I wonder why they are just spraying or leaking it just directly into the water like that? I could see if they were spraying it on the thing that they are working on, but it has just been pouring from that bucket thing non stop into the water...

P.S. OK...I didn't think you did!

In re to the Methane Smoke...
ALL that antifreeze is extremely toxic &
they have been using it for so long now...
I hope Scientist will be checking their samples for that
chemical as well...

Cool! I have been wondering what that thing was for...I wonder why the BP site said it is antifreeze? I swear, you have to be a detective to follow this!!

Would you be able to do anything with adobe photoshop? I'm not sure but you might be able to get a trial version for after affects online. I'm thinking they have a lot of filters. Possibly color filters. Just a suggestion.

You guys are so concerned about this well, when in fact, this wasn't the blown well. These live feeds are from Well A. It was Well B that blew out and continues to spew. No one wants to dig into it?

The media is nothing but a joke. Boycott all of them!

I see things haven't gotten any better. Replace the BOP? Perhaps they only need it to hold together for a short amount of time. All they need is the time to get the relief wells drilled, at least, that's what they might be thinking.

Yes, this is Well A and it didn't explode, yet they are having so much trouble with it. Well B exploded and we can't see Well B, so you tell me, what does that imply?

*BREAKING* NEW study finds oil plume over 22 miles long, 650 feet high, a mile wide; “Most worrisome” that it takes 10 TIMES AS LONG to degrade

Snippet
[The chief author of a another new study of the submerged oil said, “The study conclusively shows that a plume exists, that it came from the BP well and that it probably never got close to the surface of the Gulf of Mexico,” according to the Associated Press.]

Well isn't that a refreshing thing to hear. I think it sounds like they may finally be figuring it out that it has been screwed since the first top kill debacle.

We pretty much know that is what is happening but this is the only one they have feeds to watch. I would love to see the other but that will never happen.

What happens when they remove the BOP to replace it? Does it start blowing again or do they have a way to handle the pressure? Inquiring minds want to know..
