So no oil leaking eh? Then why the dispersant hose on Skandi 1? I mean come on...this is just plain old outrageous. If someone or some group doesn't sue BP, then we all should!

Okay dragonfire, the thing you call a sucker is what I saw Enterprise 1 following uptop. White thing with numbers on it and two handles on the box portion of it. Hope that helps, but that is not the cap correct?

Why can't they turn off the dispersant before they decide to raise it 4,900 ft to the surface? This is absolutely unnecessary and criminal!

ok. looks like they stopped the flow of corexit.

but there is no oil in or near where they are dumping it they are just poisoning our water now for the hellofit

EDIT - ok so its dumping again i spoke to soon maybe they are spreading it above the well before they open it up again this is just heartbreaking.

I just had a scary thought methane is lighter than oil right? so does that mean all the methane will be at the top of the well? and if they open the cap a large amount of methane will burst up first? that doesn't seem stable its like they are trying to Eff this situation up royally by not thinking ahead.

they paused long enough, to change the drum..

if they were raising the "hose" i would be ok with the extra coming out the hose,, a mile of garden hose holds a lot... but to just dump that SH#$% just means they don't want it on THEIR ship in heavy seas......

Yeah lets just kill everything in the water BP. By the way, its probably a lot more than a mile long. They had it all over the seafloor. This, what another poster said, criminal negligence. There is no reason why they could NOT drain the hose before retrieval.

If they thought ahead at all, then this disaster probably would not have lasted as long as it has. The fact that they didn't even come up with a plan if this happened says enough. They did say "this could never happen."

What about the international maritime protocols? They have agencies in place for these types of disaster, why are they not stepping to do the clean up and manege BP's negligence? GESAMP?

I have been here though not posting for a while now, since I don't seem to be able to summon the energy anymore. The last thing I posted of any merit was the capping video a while back, when they put the new capping stack on.

I want to thank the poster who gave us the link to the discussion on godlikeproductions.com about the second(first) well that was blown before this one was blown. I haven't been a fan of that site, but the proof they are providing is amazing and disgusting and rage-inducing. I have been watching the live marine thing all day and watching where the ships are, and wondering why they are so far apart, even the ones that have rov's we have been watching. A second leaking well is the answer. Suddenly, so much makes sense.

As for Dragon being the best poster on this forum, I beg to differ. Dragon is the best poster CURRENTLY, but JustMike, Divinorumus, Mr Tranny, Thistld, and MANY others have contributed VAST amounts of info, intel, and insight that made a HUGE difference in our understanding of things as they have transpired over the last few months. It is worth the 111 pages of reading if you go back and start at the top of this. JustMike has an amazing thread of his own that has gone dormant now.

I just don't want folks to forget the contributions of other posters and how it has enhanced our knowledge of this thing.

So, it is my belief now that we have not only been lied to about the most basic of things here, but even the capping situation has been a giant lie. The other leak several k away? Probably actually the SECOND well. The one we are not seeing. The one from the sinking of the rig ship.

Also, I have speculated, as have several others, that BP has been reading this site and others all along and that they respond via feeds and info based on what they read here, whether in a positive or negative way. I feel sure of that now and have for several weeks.

Just noticed almost all of the ships, including the Skandi Neptune seem to be making their way or have made their way to the Grand Isle area, according to the live ships map. Went to check the live feeds to be sure, and whattayaknow? Yeah.. still "broadcasting" from the site.

Lies. All stinking lies. All of it.

MSM states all ships leaving gulf area as storm coming, so I wonder why we still have live rov feeds this morning (7.24 GMT).

WTF is going on now? I was watching Skandi Neptune and it's showing some kind of cable with a bucket type thing attached. All this white stuff is pouring out in a cloud.

The storm could force officials to temporarily scale back efforts to search beneath the surface for leaking oil. But Allen said Thursday that the remote vehicles used to monitor the area will be the last to leave and the first to return.

Yeah ummm...wtf? I am speechless on this one. I don't know what that is. Though it could be a pressure release of some kind...not a clue.

I saw them sraying directly on it yesterday....or spraying something.
