This thread is not about all the others. It is about David Icke and I rendered

my opinion.

You also have to realize that these are busy people and Icke doesn't even appear on their radars. So, why waste time taking someone to court that only people on the fringe pay attention to?

I don't really see what is "crazy" about David Icke. A lot of what he says about the world we live in is backed up by modern physics now. And as for the pedophilia and satanic cults, Google Bohemian Grove. Deny ignorance right......ya right

All david icke has to do now is take the most batcrap insane stuff from his forums and put it into his books and pass them off as his own ideas. The type of person that would be laughed at here could be responsible for writting 1/2 of one his books.

Zaiger.....

Well, yes.....exactly!

It's a bit like that appalling movie "Snakes On A Plane" wherein the producers asked people to write in with their ideas for the movie & they jammed in a whole lot of those ideas, irrespective of whether the ideas made any sense or not!

Cheers mate

I don't care how "on the fringe" anyone is.........if someone accused me of Paedophilia, I'd be taking that person to task!.......fringe or no fringe!!

DoomsdayRex.....

He might not define himself as a "ufologist" but Mr. Icke has no problem delving into UFO research, even if his views are out of the mainstream. He has no problem commenting on UFO on his website. Icke seems to subscribe to ancient astronaut theories. Sites dedicated to UFOs give him a forum to express his views. He appears with oother conspiracy mongers discussing UFOs and discusses other fringe UFO theories like bluebeam. Icke is knee-deep in ufology.

You have succinctly summed up my conclusions regarding the intrinsic relationship between Icke & Ufology.....hence my concerns regarding the damage therein.

Kind regards

You are talkng about Baal, Molech. That was not ha Satan. Molech was the chief

god of the Phoenicians, and Canaanites, mentioned as the god of the

Ammonites.

So, if some man on the street who is clearly mentally disturbed starts yelling that you're a pedophile and worship Satan, you're going to sue him? The thing you have to remember is that to most people Icke is no more credible than a schizophrenic living on the streets.

Who is Icke going to sue? Too many people voice their opinion. Look, you put

yourself out in public with this stuff you have to expect rebuts, parodies, et al

It all goes with the territory and Icke knows it.

Icke isn't going to sue anyone.......he's the one making the claims!

The people he makes the claims about do the sueing!

A mentally disturbed man on the street is a world away from David Icke........the mentally disturbed man on the street isn't going to put his views on the internet for millions of people to see...........and if he did.......yes I'd sue!

Once again though the majority of people see Icke as nothing more than a nutcase and not worth the time. While you might sue, most people wouldn't see any benefit in bringing Icke to court. Most people don't know who he is, and most of the people who have heard of him think he's insane. He has a small group of followers who are perceived to be as insane as him. Besides, if everyone sued the second someone wrote something bad about them we'd all be in court.

A lot of what Icke says is just regurgitated information being passed around.

Wrong again my friend!

I see you are from the states.........David Icke may well be considered a nut case by a lot of people, but he is still fairly well known here in the UK ..........why would people in high ranking positions consider it of no benefit to sue someone who accuses them of being a paedophile?

Because it's just a waste of time and money. Even if the case went to court the best someone could hope for is a small amount of cash and a cease and desist order. However, the amount of money won would be nothing compared to what these people already have and a cease and desist order wouldn't do much since only a small group of people listen to Icke in the first place and if he lost the case they would just believe it was the NWO trying to shut him up further validating his theories for the people. So, these people would gain nothing and end up having to spend hours in court, not to mention paying a lawyer that will probably cost more than what they win in the case. In the end, it's pretty clear that it would be pointless to sue Icke, since it will change no one's mind about his theories and possibly end up costing more money than could be made from suing him.
