Oh you mean what he has done? I don't play partisan politics anymore so I don't care...but I am not going to stand for hypocrisy and then more of "bandwagon" hysteria.

As for accomplishements:

1) Lilly Ledbetter Law (Gender Discrimination in work place: fair pay)

2) Stimulus Bill (I'm not a fan)

3) Credit Card Accountability and Disclosure Act (Protects consumers from unfair credit card company practices)

4) Fraud Enforcement & Recovery Disclosure Act (Assists to prevent foreclosure cause by disingenuous loan practices)

5) Stem Cell Research Act

6) Omnibus Appropriation Act (Stops no bid governmental contracts)

7) Schip Bill (Children health insurance program)

8) Post 9/11 G.I. Bill (Scholarships for Veterans that can transfer to their families)

9) Smoking Prevention & Tobacco Act (LOL IMPOSING MORALITY)

10) Auto Tax Deduction (Deduct Sale and Excise taxes)

11) Wild and Senic River Bill (Permanent protection for over 86 rivers)

12) Clean Energy bill (give it time)

13) Weapons Systems Acquisition Reform Act (Scrap All Defense Contractors Cost Over Runs)

14) First Time home Buyer Incentive Act ( UP to $8,000 tax rebate on houses for first time buyers

just to name a few, kiddo

Apparently I can't, and neither can Rand Paul or most of the GOP...hell, most of the Dems were even hesitant to charge BP anything....

Apparently a lot of people can't tell.

Keep throwing the kiddo out there, I don't mind.

Hypocrites? Speak for yourself - personally I have supported virtually nothing any President has done in this country since Clinton signed off on NAFTA. And that includes smacking myself for helping vote into office two of the worst successive CIC's in the history of this country. Yes, I voted for Bush... and then kicked myself for eight years - we won't even get into why the list of his utter failures is so long. Now I'm doing the same thing with Obama, who in my estimation has done more in his short tenure to alienate voters and hurt this country than even Bush did. Lessee...

1) His handling of, and complete lack of leadership in dealing with the oil spill... umm, 'nuff said - I'll let the rest of the threads on the subject explain why

2) Promised to bring the troops home from Iraq during his campaign - they're not even giving it lip service anymore

3) Practically admitting that he won't help secure the southern border and loathing those who want something done

3) Increased our national debt by trillions, further indebting us to the Chinese, and giving massive taxpayer-funded bailouts to financial institutions that take our money and then turn around to further shaft us at every turn

4) Shoved a healthcare reform bill down our throats that does nothing to reform health care, yet spends $900 billion to force us to buy private health insurance that not everyone can afford now under pain of financial ruin or imprisonment

And these are just the few I can think of off the top of my head... the constutionality of half of these would've been enough for Democrats to consider impeachment proceedings against a Republican.

I am so disgusted with the political douchebagery of the last three sitting Presidents that going into each election, instead of thinking I'm doing something to help my country, I'm simply praying that whoever I vote for doesn't burn it to the ground

After 60 days the Obama State Department is still “considering” which countries to accept help from.
Unbelievable.

Something is seriously wrong here, not that I am surprised, they can't possibly be this incompetent, so as I always assumed, he is a traitor whos agenda is to bring down America.

The real danger hear is that China and Russia are watching. They will never have an opportunity like this again. Sometimes people forget that China is a communist country, and Russia, at deeper levels is as well. We have clearly displayed that the leadership here will fight a war with one hand behind it's back and by Marques of Queensbury rules. Don't want to upset code pink, you know. We took less time to win WWI and WWII combined, and we are nowhere near finishing this thing. We could have walked through it in months, but god forbid an american hating muslim be injured if there weren't four witnesses to sign off on the fact dude is armed before we open fire, and hey, let's put out just enough troops so that we can drag it out for twenty or so years. Ridiculous.
The Red Menace is watching, and may well take it upon themselves to capitalize on a president who has both a tendency to micromanage, and do so innefectually, with low personal courage and worries only about political implications. Danger Will Robinson. Is it a coincidence there is a new remake of Red Dawn in the offing, or is it a sign of our collective subconcious mind. Remember, these are the bloodline of the same progressives that thought Japan wouldn't attack either. Can you imagine fighting a Chinese army of 200 million on our own soil with rules of engagement that won't let us fire unless fired upon and a commander in cheif that won't use tactical nukes. His first move would be to confiscate arms from the citizenry so as to have complete control of the action. The only reason Japan didn't invade the mainland was that Japanese command knew the history of the revolutionary war, which was won in no small part by militias, and correctly feared the citizenry, armed with firearms, would serve as an effective militia. Be very afraid, and why does no one speak of this? Does the fact that no one mentions this mean it would be a huge surprise to some, and thereby an effective tactic? Yep.

The President is a figgurehead and has been so since after JFK's death. All the presidents after 1963 have been nothing but servants for various interests it's just that Bush and Obama are more obvious puppets then other presidents.

Don't forget about closing Guantanamo.

Oh, and having the most transparent and open administration in history.

Oh, and..."let me be clear, your taxes will not go up".

You people.

First its: Free Market this and that, end of regulation over here and over there. No oversight needed, let the businesses be. Small government forever xD

Then a crisis hits in which a corporation is proven to be irresponsible, money driven, and apathetic: OH MY GOD! OBAMA WHY DONT YOU PUT ON THE SNORKLE AND GO FIX THE HOLE!111!!!
Why don't you completely take over the situation at hand.
Why don't you commandeer ships and handle the crisis with the full power of the BIG BIG BIG federal government.

Hypocrites.

Quoted for truth. One minute, he's being criticized for involving the government. The next minute, he's being criticized for NOT involving the government.

Its the same thing during the first year of his presidency. The right wing would scream "Where's the change, Obama?" while simultaneously opposing and voting down everything Obama supported.

Conservatives are looking for anything to grill Obama on, even if it means completely contradicting themselves.

Well according to some Obama isn't the president.

Not matter what, he hasn't done anything but make Bush 43 look like a saint, if that is even possible.

Anyway Just goes to show you the Presidential nominee with the most air-time is the biggest liar of them all!

Oh look - another person trolling for stars and flags!

Well-played.

If you honestly think that Obama has much to do with what is happening in the gulf, then your head is far, far under the sand. He can only do damage-control at this point, and even then - his hands are somewhat tied.

It's interesting how the right were calling for more autonomy for the oil companies and now they're bellyaching about him not doing enough to manage them.

My opinion is the current POTUS has no clue when to get the federal government involved and when to hold back the federal government from involvement. I think he has it all backwards.

These topics boggle my mind considering the website you are posting this on. DUHHHH, Obama is useless. Have you not read the other million threads on "TPTB" or "Illuminatis" or "Secret Societies" or "Shadow Governments" or "Corporations" or "Builderbergs." I mean if you cannot realize that the president of the united states is simply a puppet then you should probably go back to reading fox news or something.
......sigh

I definitely agree with PieKeeper and TheOneElectric. He's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't; they all are.

It's like Lincoln said, "... You can't please all of the people all of the time".

No matter what any president does, huge groups of Americans are going to be angry.

He's talking about financial responsibility. He's bringing the leaders of BP into congress for cross examinations. He's talking about "kicking ass" on national television. But is he DOING anything about it? No.

He's not behaving like a president - he's behaving like a LAWYER.

He's actually behaving like a socialist. He's doing what he knows best: take someone's money and give it to someone else (after it goes through him first, of course).

And the "I'm gonna kick your ass and take your money" is the behavior of a schoolyard bully, nothing more.

If you consider expecting a company whose negligence caused a natural disaster to pay for the damage to lives, property and livelihood to be socialism, then perhaps you should look up exactly what socialism is.

Should Obama take over the wellhead and commandeer private industry's resources to clean up the mess? That's pretty much the textbook definition of socialism - taking privately-owned infrastructure and using it for the public good.

If Obama actually DID seize control of the drilling site, people like you would be screaming that it was a socialist takeover of private industry.
