I have one of these powers...I discussed this on a thread someone started a month or two ago but I never got back around to it. I have always sat around moving stuff for fun but never found anyone else who did what I did. That was until that thread a while back when someone was also moving things which I didn't have any interest in until he said the magic thing that told me he is for real. That it has nothing to do,with the . And that's exactly right. Its not moving anything with the mind it is learning simply how to push your magnetism out and how to hook things to it that is what needs to be done. And though it takes a whole lot of practice, once you know the force you are looking for it is much easier to use it. Ill try to remember to head back to,this thread today. Again, anyone can do it I have a feeling.

My questions to the board are:
1) Do you think this a relatively new phenomenon, or have there been throughout history reports of people having extraordinary abilities like the ones I described?
2) If this is not a new phenomenon, would you say that there seems to be a sharp increase in the amount of people who can do this in the modern era, or even in the last 25 years?
3) Does the Powers That Be take this seriously at all? I know that in Russia & China there have been extensive studies & training of these people. Why not in the West? Or is it going on and we don't know it?
4) Should people with these abilities stick together & form online/realtime support groups/communities, or is it better to remain scattered & not attract attention? Or should people with these abilities be "outing" themselves on public boards at all? Or am I being paranoid? Or am I not being paranoid?

I think in the next 25 years these questions and this topic is going to be a very big issue in the world. IMHO, it would depend on what kind of abilities these people possess, but maybe getting together.....or depending on circumstances, stay distanced from eachother.

This is definitely not a new phenomenon, have you ever seen the hulk, it's real. Iron man, all of it. That ain't special effects. And that's a lot of questions. I think the world governments, if they new about this "possibility" would take it seriously, but they don't and it's not a REAL possibility. How do you know China and Russia have done extensive studies on such a thing. I'd check your sources and make sure they're reliable. If they truly have, then probably not in the West, because there hasn't been any people, or at least found out about people, that have been caught by the government. I think you'd only be being paranoid, if you possessed some super-human abilities and were hiding them lol, and now am wanting to know if you are. IMHO, it would depend on what kind of abilities these people possess, but maybe getting together.....or depending on circumstances, stay distanced from eachother.

I happen to agree, while there's sciences not yet known to some and there's the power of the mind and the tecnique one would use for super powers, Bill Gates and company are the real wizards (hard working inventors) that saw there dreams come true and everyone of them would be a wizard at what they do.

I wouldnt call them superheroes, but definitely inspirational in what they are accomplishing. Well, except suckerburg. FB definitely isnt anything to be proud of, except for how rich it made him.

Yes, everyone is psychic. They aren't super-powers, but part of our natural capabilities. It's just if you doubt yourself, it isn't gonna work. Some things you have to work on, some things you don't. It depends on what you're naturally good at.

If people spent close to as much time working on their abilities as they did learning an instrument or a sport, or a new language, they'd all accomplish it.

No, I can't do the crap the Hulk and Thor do (yet, it'd definitely help with yard-work) but I can do things we're supposedly not supposed to be able to do.

Start small... Learn to ground, center, and shield.

1) Not new. I suspect humans actually gradually got weaker at it by focusing on other things, but a lot of that is social.
2) Yes, there has been an uptick. I don't think natural abilities have increased, but people have become more socially accepting of it, there is more info out there, people are less fearful and willing to experiment, etc, etc.
3) Yes, but those programs were shut down in USA, supposedly. I've heard it's still open in Russia. I wouldn't be surprised if there's still some volunteers in the USA and it's just kept secret.
4) I personally think people with the abilities should go out and help others develop the same abilities, and make them realize it's not really anything special.

I'm willing to share some of my own experiences. I'd be even more interested in helping you unlock your own. Considering you're even thinking about it, I think you're ready.

Can you learn to hone certain abilities and if so how?

I've had very high and accurate, guess you could say intuition on people.

One time that freaked me out was at grandfather's funeral. I was kind of zoned out, shaking hands steady and accepting condolences. All people blended together and I really didn't notice anyone.

Then one guy shook my hand, that instant I went from numb not noticing people to focusing on him and wanting to punch him. Talked myself out of it said this is stupid you don't know him calm down. Later I see him with his arm around my grandmother and I envision myself grabbing him by the throat slamming him on the ground. At some point I was staring daggers at him and he dissapeared.

A month later I learn he worked at the church as a youth pastor and was arrested for molesting young girls there.

Definitely trust my instincts with absolute strangers now.

You must be unaware of the REAL "The Men That Stare At Goats".
The term "Jedi" was termed in the Military. There's also years of studythe CIA did with psychic/telekinetic abilities.
If things like that eventually manifest, it's an arms race like never before, and you had better bet there are contingency plans for such.

Perhaps we've always had these abilities, but have forgotten how to use them? Knowledge without wisdom is what supposedly brought destruction Atlanis.

With great power comes great responsibility, so if these powers exist experimenting might be a bit risky for those not knowing the fundamental rules of what they are, how to use them, the dangers of not using them properly.

It's a fact that groups bring more power/energy than one person. I recall witnessing a strange example....four women stacked their open hands above the head of a nearly 300 pound man sitting in a chair, then each woman grabbed a leg of the chair with one hand and they raised this guy chest high with zero effort. Lifting a book would have felt heavier.

I don't think there was any 'woo' factor involved; it seems the human mind has great unknown potential. It's playing with the unknown that can get you into trouble if the power is greater than your ability to understand or control it.

You don't give the keys to your car to a ten year old. They need a lot more knowledge, life experience and maturity before you turn them loose in a 1500 pound lethal weapon.

All of these are doable with just some of the things not being invented yet.

You should see what the alphabet agencies have in terms of psychics. Ive seen some pretty crazy stuff that i wasent ment to see.

If i had any powers, id have prob used them by now to protect myself from "them".

Quite possibly it depends on what your talking about.
The US government does have the capability to design and develop these powers and they have in many people.
People without power, but have potential can be trained by the US military to acquire power with hard work, its all pretty sciencey though.

Haven't read through everything, this thread is big. However what people think of as super powers are likely misunderstood and potentially more common than anyone believes.

For one there are less limits to the human body than many believe. Simply working out daily at a gym for a year adding more weight each week or two weeks I was up to 4 45 pound plates for one arm bicep curls for a workout. Easily curling 10 repetitions.

Psychic abilities are probably possible for anyone. Had certain experiences myself though not able to control anything. However think about the brain and signals in the brain it is all about energy or electric signals for the brain to pass on instructions or information. There is also measurable energy that leaves our bodies upon death. If our brains can read energy and potentially emit energy somehow when working maybe some people can pick up on energy signals from other people and read them like their own. Not to mention experiments where light was turned to matter. If energy can be manipulated into matter and if it is the basis for everything that might be a basis for telekinesis.

People can know intentions of others or sense pure evil on occasion. Maybe due to picking up on energy fields. Each emotion may produce it's own energy. If you are able to pick up on that you will know when someone is lieing, dislikes you, truly cares for you or so on. That may be the entire basis for intuition.

If that is so than almost anyone could learn various things. Psychic talents may be options for anyone.

I think the moral majority is ready for a psychic awakening.

First, to open up your mind to the possibility of psychic abilities, learn telepathy: try to send thoughts to friends in a manner that they don't sound crazy if they confirm they heard them. Try sending, I am about to scratch my nose, then scratch your nose. Then send, Tell me you knew I was going to scratch my nose. That way, they have the option to respond without directly stating they believe in telepathy, and can gradually confirm they received telepathic transmissions.

I believe everyone is telepathic if open to it.

To really achieve a psychic awakening requires astral travel. Every night before sleeping, write a paragraph about your dreams solving all your problems answering all your questions and becoming lucid and becoming astral trips. You dream what your mind is on before you go to sleep.

Once you learn how to astral travel, start networking with your friends.

I consider the elite in many ways worse and in many ways better than what people think. In the ancient world, the gods received blood sacrifices. Adrenaline is in blood when you experience fear, drinking blood could result in a high like from any other drug. If the "gods" are just people who learned astral control, and escaped the cycle of rebirth, reincarnating only with past life recall intact, they by now have most psychic abilities and can probably prophecy where to put their militaries if invaded. But there is also a theme of/interest in enlightenment to the popularized image of the Illuminati.

Once you've got two people together, one astral one just open to telepathy, train the open minded volunteer thru the astral volunteer how to prophecy and scry. First prophecy, confirmed prophetic talent is necessary to learn proper scrying. The astral psychic travels into the brain of the other guy, extracts all fear telepathically, and the non astral volunteer tries to prophecy, the astral psychic continues extracting all fear and programs in an identification of success.

If authentic verifiable prophecy results, great. Use the same technique to scry the answer to the following basic questions: 1) What can I do to achieve the fairest possible? 2) What can I do to achieve the highest possible loyalty score by the authentic immortal elite actually in control of the planet? 3) What can I do to achieve the highest quality possible of personal happiness?

Network an astral awakening: Astral travel to high density populations, and teach telepathy to anyone willing to learn. With their permission, astral travel into their brains and ask: 1) Are you trying to infiltrate my network for any purposes to partially or totally counteract it? 2) Are you generally fairly motivated? 3) Are you by yourself and your surroundings considered sane? An answer of "No" to question one, they can join. "Yes" to question two, they can be provided some of the psychic power you've accumulated. Network sanity with those that answer "Yes" to question two but "No" to question 3. If they answer, "No," "Yes," and "Yes" truthfully, you can share ample psychic power with them.

It would be beneficial to network licensed therapists. I suspect it would be possible to telepathically extract all fear and traumatic emotion while guiding an individual to face all traumatic memories, thereby curing the individual of fear.
