The way I see it the internet has given a powerful voice to the average person, who other wise would only be harping to his buddies at the bar,

Obama is helping everyone? Are you kidding? I've already got letters from my health insurance company that prices are going to be going up because of Obama's health care killer.

My biggest probelm with him, is he doesn't actually DO anything. I think He's touring the coast for like the 5th time since the oil gusher started? Where was the government on that one? Sure, it may be BP's mess, and they should have to make the payments for whatever the cost is of saving the coast, but the government should have done their job and PROTECTED the people and the land. That's all they're really supposed to do anyway.

Personally, I think everyone here should simply leave this thread. It's a complete waste of time and thought. Such a rediculous statement shouldn't have been entertained in the first place.

Giving Obama any more power than he already has is just asking for it. I wouldn't be surprised if he has the ability to do it now anyway, regardless of whether or not it was given to him legally.

Actually the thread served a purpose, it gave people a voice to their opinion and showed where the majority stands.

Pretty much on your own there Chief. Anyone who favors giving that level of control to an elected official or organization clearly doesn't see the big picture. Control over one's flow of information my friend is for the individual end user to determine. The Internet is a global entity without borders. If you want Obama to be able to shut down internet activity in the US, thats fine, so long as it doesnt effect the rest of the world, as we all have a right to it.

Your argument about weapon systems being connected to the internet is just stupid. No nation connects weapons systems to the internet. They use private networks that remain off the grid.

Further, what would happen to the US stock exchange? The US banking system? Both depenant on the internet (as well as private networks)

Turing the internet off with a switch is not as simple as you make it seem.

Okay I read the rest of your posts on this thread. I still dont agree with Kill Switch thing its purely silly idea no other way about it.

For the rest of your posts about global government I agree with you it will be beneficial but at the same time I also believe mildly in the NWO conspiracy. I agree with you One world government is a reality in a few decades from now and that will be when humans will really advance.
