If there are aliens out there, they probably don't really think about us much at all, or they'd interact with us a lot more.

But that's their loss, because as sentient beings go, we're pretty awesome. And fun at parties. So too bad for them.

Imagine what extra terrestrials think of us as a race! We discust me and i'm human! War, famine, greed, selfishness, crime, unessessary death etc etc etc etc.

There's all these people saying that ET's will come and give us new technology and help us evolve further into peace. Do we deserve it?? Do we f*ck!
What are we doing to better ourselves? Nothing!

We can't expect to be handed help on a plate.

You know i don't believe that when the ETs do come it will be like a mass extermination, i believe that most of them DO/WILL come in peace.

But think about it... Do we deserve peace? What are we doing to promote peace at the moment? Trading blood for oil? Killing innocent children? Sending young men to die in pointless wars?

If it was you who had the choice of helping another race that were violent, greedy, murderous. A race that appeared to have no concept of compassion, would you?? I know i wouldn't!

We see so much death around us, so much suffering. For what? To make a point? For money? We need to grow up!

It makes me so sad to think of how far we are from a peaceful existance, i know i will not see it in my life time.

Take care of each other, it makes a difference.

Peace x

Wow dude, speak for yourself. I am very loving, very compassionate, respectful and helpful. Yea Some people mistake my kindness as a weakness because they are so low on the todum pole of intellect they assume it is a weakness and not a strength. It takes a strong person to not bend to the power of their own aggression, It takes a bigger man to walk away so to speak. Patience is a virtue and in todays society where you have instant gratification that blinds most people from this virtue, its deffinetly not helping at all with our soul lessons. It is far more intelligent to keep a civil conversation and discussion then it is to see who can whoop who's ass more... that is childish. .... Dont get me wrong I know my strength physically and mentally and spiritually. I will only turn on my can of whoop ass if someone is threatening my life or trying to harm my child. Best BELIEVE MAMA BEAR WILL COME OUT OF THIS B*TCH in a heart beat. But I dont believe the whole world is full of crime and hate... A good portion is but not all of us as a whole.

and your statement
If it was you who had the choice of helping another race that were violent, greedy, murderous. A race that appeared to have no concept of compassion, would you?? I know i wouldn't!
Makes you just as bad as the rest of the bunch. If I could show a beaten, half starved, neglected, aggressive rottwieler ....love, compassion, feed him and nuture him, I would see him grow spiritually, and physically. His fur would be brighter and fuller, his attitude would change from being timid and mean to socialable and loving. Dont believe me? Well I know I've done it. I changed this animals life and he loves me in return and is a smarter loving dog with just a little bit of attention and trust we have bonded well. I believe the human race is much like other animals, if given the chance of true love and respect along with teaching ( Like how I had to teach him not to jump on people or to go to the door when he wanted to go out, small examples that wouldnt nessecarily pertain to humans but you get the point) Then I think the human race could grow and flourish better then we could of even imagined.

any observing aliens probably think of humanity as a virus. Bleeding dry all earth's resources only for our own gain. Hopefully they will have mercy on Native Americans, and other cultures that look upon the earth with respect, not greed

Prove to me that they exist. Oh wait you can't! Hahaha nope no you can't, you believe in Aliens. I believe in what science tells me.

Science can't offer much of an opinion with regards to extra terrestrials and whether or not they are currently visiting us. From a statistical standpoint - most scientists agree that life elsewhere in the universe is a mathematical certainty. The debate is over how common it is, and whether or not higher-order life forms self-terminate.

They do childish things because they are a child. They expect nothing from you that you haven’t already done.

We are many orders of magnitude more advanced than all known plant life. Yet, we are still unable to technologically replicate the accomplishments of even basic cellular life.

This is where I disagree with most people who like to equate space travel with a sort of linear technological advancement. Simply because they can travel through space in means we don't understand does not really make them advanced, technologically.

Perhaps they are equally mystified by semiconductor electronics and cannot, for them, figure out how to make a little brick of silicon work like we can. They may or may not have or require that ability - but I think we take our own technology a little too absolutely.

I don't think we have anything to fear from a species of sentient beings that open up casinos.

You do realize that the Great Plains more or less exist due to the hunting methods utilized by many of the Native American tribes? The Redwood Forests - touted as a "beauty of nature" were also engineered (and maintained) systems of allowing game to breed and be hunted by the Natives.

The purpose of life is to manipulate its environment. Sometimes the way a particular organism works does not really agree with where it is residing (take infectious bacteria - they make us sick, usually by releasing toxic chemicals into our systems as part of the way they live). Sometimes those forms of life destroy their host.

It's the way life works. It's nothing to do with petty ideological notions peddled by people attempting to move some vague paradigm.

In the end, however, I think what any alien species would find most entertaining is what we think about them, and how we view ourselves. Our cumulative introspection is what makes up our society. We talk with other forms of life because life amuses us. We observe other forms of life because we find them interesting.

on what you said about the humans, they are the embodiements of evil, all aliens see the humans as is that they are barbaric but they are very intellegent as they can focus all the aggression into makeing better weapons and killing methods

We also have made medical technology, communications technology, developed cultural and individual sociological theories (IE - attempts at understanding or own behavior) and have the ability to conceive of completely impossible ideals (such as "world peace" - which is simply an unnatural and unattainable status).

Humans are just like any other known life form - we have adapted to survive and do things more efficiently. Hence why we use electrons to carry data instead of parchment being handed off by runners, or farm crops instead of relying on the wild growth of crops.

And to boot - about 90% of our techno-industry has come about in the past century. We went from horse-and-buggy to the edge of practical commercial space flight within 100 years while our "highly advanced alien visitors" have, apparently, not seen a major technology overhaul in the past ten thousand years (or however old some of those cave paintings are).

So, I think that if we were under interstellar observation, our first tests of atomic weaponry and particle accelerators probably turned a hell of a lot of heads.

"Damnit, Zorg - the last couple probes we sent there only reported them having a primitive concept of chemistry and magnetism. That was only fifty years ago! We lost that drunkard Yurkai to that windmill, but otherwise, there weren't any problems. Then they start nuking each other, what the hell!?"

"At this rate, they will overtake us in about two of their centuries. It will take that long just to pull together more than research craft to try and handle them. Does anyone alive even know how to build our ships anymore?"

"You mean we don't have anyone building ships?"

"I don't think so. We've been too busy sight-seeing and enjoying the benefits of perpetual energy to actually want to work, unless it's in politics, where all we do is argue all the time over whether or not infinite amounts of resources are being appropriated responsibly."

"Might as well go ahead and start drafting those surrender terms, then. We should have it done in time."

That is, of course, dramatized for the sake of humor - but, really - we are working with too few known idioms to profile extra-terrestrials.

Congratulations on helping that animal, congratulations on being such a good person. There should be more people like you. It seems though that you are avoiding blame for us as a race.

My statement was aimed at the human race in it's entirety, like you said even you can get nasty if you need to. Well over 5000 innocent children have died in the Iraq war. What if one of them was your child, would that not spark fury inside you? Would that not make you want revenge, to kill that person who killed your child? It's a vicious circle and it all stems down to greed and power!

I am a good person too, i would not say boo to a Goose unless it bit me!
As an individual i am caring, loving, never been an arsehole to anybody. But i am still slightly embarrassed to be human.

Unfortunately i do not think that the human race can be changed like the dog that you took care of.

Sorry for the negativity on the subject and the rambling on ha! There are few things that can make me proud to be human.

If I had to guess, this is what they are thinking:

There is no thinking as we know it. There is great compassion, but also an awareness of the deep illusion many of are trapped in. They want us to simply step outside of the illusion. To them it looks so easy, but they understand our limitations.

They are doing what they can to awaken as many of us as they can. The last three years have been a time of intense activity. More effort than ever before is being put into the task. Restrictions have been lifted, and more direct intervention is now permitted. Some have come from a dimension that is very close to the source. This is the emergency crew, if you like. The most highly trained paramedics for the most urgent situation. Mass awakening is their goal and they are very good at it. They cannot impose it however, we have to go part of the way.

What they have realized is that we are them, and they are us. We are all one. They want us to see this.

They are scared to death of us! lol.

Think about it, if we as a species had the same technology we would pose a threat.

Humans kill for fun!

Also compared to the lil Grey's we are all giants with physiques like superheros!

They see us as a master race, an Earth incarnation is one of the most extreme forms of darkness in the universe. From a spiritual point of view Earth is a master class. However they understand that we are all equal as we are all just aspects of the infinite.

Amen to that. They also find it amusing that we cannot understand that it is as simple as moving towards what we prefer and moving away from what we do not.

For all we know, we may yet not be savage ENOUGH for their liking....

Who knows? We have no basis for comparison, so we have no idea what they are like, what they value, and what they'd think of us.

If we believe abduction accounts, we're left with the idea that they think of us as "inferior" and perhaps even as a scientist views a lab rat...but again, we aren't SURE these accounts are accurate, and so we're left with next to nothing to go on....

My personal thought is that we interest them, perhaps because we may have evolved our tech faster than the societal constraints to harness it...and they are simply quarantining us in our own little solar system....

I agree! The reason for that being they see us as primitive. Much like we look at some of our animals, some seem to have no idea of compassion, no guilt, i think that (as a race) is how we would come across. Therefore we are not too bothered about exploiting these animals as they seem to have no morals, why should we care if a vicious, uncaring animal is experimented on or even put to death?
