I don't know, but was totally shocked when I found out this area is north of Tucson. Tucson is my hometown, and this really disturbs me.

Anyone else think that the big ole bad government is "ignoring" them because they passed the bill? They (government) better get their respective heads out of their lame @ss before this really backfires big time.

I have to wonder what is next.. El Paso TX?

No sensitive sally here. Aren't we waging a "War on Drugs"? So if it is in fact a war, shouldn't we be acting like it's a war and go in there armed like we're at war, and shoot at our 'enemy' like we're at war?

Is that what war is supposed to be like? I guess the whole "War on Drugs" is really a "War on Truth" and just a lot of meaningless political rhetoric after all.

I bet the people of Arizona will act if the government doesn't. Lots of residents with guns there in Arizona, residents who are undoubtedly fed up with the situation there. A lot can happen in a wide expanse of desert where the cops are too scared to go.

Oh, another thing... so if the U.S. essentially gave the land back to Mexico, can I gather up an army and go in there and conquer it for myself? I'd like to own a nice slice of land the size of Connecticut.

The comment about giving land to Mexico seemed like a figure of speech to me???

As you know from the past, we don't have to use the word "war", we can call it a "conflict".

I'm in your troops for a piece of that area if you need me. I will have to invest in one of those night scopes.
We may have our hands full, our government runs more drugs than any single drug lord...
