Somali militants threaten World Cup TV viewers

While I fully agree that watching the World Cup or any sport, "...is a waste of money and time and they will not benefit anything or get any experience by watching mad men jumping up and down", I find it repulsive that they would instill their will and beliefs with killing those who do not abide by their opinions.

I would be the first to ban reality shows, sports and dramas on television, maybe even rid the entire system all together. But that would only hold in my own home, telling another how to live their life is just utterly repulsive.

Because they murder the innocent. Any self-respecting Muslim will tell you that this is highly forbidden. These hardliners pick and choose passages to suit their agenda, just like every other religion has done in the past to justify murder.

and why dont the muslims who always say "they are not muslims" do anything about these "fakers" that are going around doing atrocities in your gods name?

Not my God and i'm not Muslim. Why didn't all catholics stand up against the Spanish Inquisition? Why don't all christians stand up against Fred Phelps? There are fakers in all religions that pick and choose what they follow and don't follow. Religion is twisted to create fear and to control. It happens in every country with every religion to greater and lesser degrees. That's why i disagree with religion.

They are as Muslim as the Klu Klux Klan or Westboro Baptist Church is christian. Which is, they claim to be of that religion but pick and choose what suits them and spread only fear and hate. Majority of religions were spread by the sword 400 years ago. Today they are spread by the gun, like in Afghanistan, Iraq and Somalia.

get off your arse and do something about it, otherwise people will criticise you forever, and stop trying to blame others for your religions intolerance of others.
