Captured a picture of the badge of the female officer.
It says she is a Special Deputy-US Marshal
So she's been deputized, because here name is Layne Brewster-Smith, and appears to be on the Police Dept for Austin University.
After looking at both badges, they appear to be real to me.

As for all the people claiming this video is staged or fake.....
If you ever in your life impersonate a federal officer in a video that ends up on YouTube and it is not clearly a form of art as in a movie or a professed dramatisation for educational purposes or a clearly stated joke protected by the Fair Use Copy Right Laws.....You Will undoubtedly be going to Federal Prison for committing a Federal Crime.
I'm just letting you who think this is fake or staged know, because you obviously lack common sense.
There is no way those two People would pretend to be Feds in a video that claimed them to be real Feds while showing proof of them showing identification claiming to be real Feds. Especially with their faces on camera and their license plate in the video.
Both those people would be in prison if they did.
Impersonating a Federal Officer is a Federal Crime.

Not cool... at all. That in itself is an act of terrorism against the owner of that vehicle. Beings this is June 2010... there may be a new registrant that hasn't shown up yet in the database.
They're probably using an undercover vehicle that's been confiscasted by the LE/Feds for one reason or another.

If she didnt want the information out, she shouldnt have posted the license plate on youtube. The whole point of my legal search was to help gather the (publicly available) information so that it can be cross-referenced and verified to find out if the video was staged or not.
And two wrongs don't make a right... do they???
Technical Operations
Deploying the most sophisticated technologies available, the Technical Operations Group provides investigative and intelligence support for the U.S. Marshals and U.S. Marshals-led fugitive task forces.
Technical Operations also provides assistance when requested by other federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies to solve complex criminal investigations or crimes of violence.
Investigations The Marshals Service is the federal government's lead agency for conducting investigations involving: escaped federal prisoners; probation, parole and bond default violators; and fugitives based on warrants generated during drug investigations. The U.S. Marshals have the authority to make an arrest on all federal warrants.
Investigative Operations Division The U.S. Marshals Service is the federal government’s primary agency for conducting fugitive investigations and has a critical role in implementing the Department of Justice’s violent crime reduction strategy. While targeting violent and other serious offenders, the agency plays a key role in making communities safer. The U.S. Marshals Service has expanded its fugitive apprehension operations to state and local jurisdictions through highly specialized, multi-agency fugitive task forces covering nearly the entire country. The U.S. Marshals Service builds vital ties within the international law enforcement community to apprehend fugitives abroad as well as to seek foreign fugitives living or residing in the United States.

I am having trouble figuring out what the first wrong was, much less a second one. Cross-referencing and verifying information (your terms) is how investigations are conducted.
The first wrong was committed when she published a video documenting a license plate... that was tied to two faces with names who identified themselves as an FBI agent and a Federal Marshal.
The second wrong was committed when you published personal information that could be cross-referenced as to who the owner of that license plate was.

I'm sorry to let you know this but the books and information you have recommended comes from a different time....
A time when The FBI was a unique branch of Law enforcement, and their primary role was to fight organised crime.
Today the FBI's primary role is to bust strip bars and watch child pornography all day long. Just before 9/11 bush set up the FBI's new role as accomplices in organized crime.
You did not read that in any of your books did ya?
If indeed you are right then the two actors in the supposed fake video have committed a federal crime by impersonating Feds. I don't think A protest group who is probably well researched in Laws would do that. But I could be wrong.

I saw that, but people continued to say they were fakes. So I posted what I did. And people STILL persist in saying they were just actors.
1. Do you actually think the FBI has the time and/or resources to view every youtube video?
2. Let's say they do and they find out it's 2 actors. The lady will get out of it by saying it was an acting lesson or some such crap.
Actually seems as if we have tons of common sense.
You see more info is coming out.
Reread my post on page 5 with a lot of detail and also Nikolams post where he ran the plate and it comes up with another persons name and not a federal ID. Do you honestly think the FBI wants the liability of an agent using someone else' car? That makes no sense at all !
Why not ? Other actors do it all the time
As example:
