Surely they can't do that as currently he hasn't done anything. Or is this going to be another case of using terrorism/security laws to hold anyone they want who does something they don't like for an undetermined amount of time?

I guess they'll have to hold him for ever to stop him releasing anything that could be a threat to national security... the dirty terrorist!

Good on him, glad the pentagon are getting worried about their activities coming out, guilt's a terrible thing

Yep, a threat to national security means he'll be munched in any way they can get him. Although I'm pretty sure he's smart enough to have something in place to release the said documents in great numbers should he come across any difficulties.

Mr. Assange should just publish them. He would be a hero. If he should come upon ill fortune, all this would be for nothing... As its been said "The truth will set you free" Yeah yeah wicked cheesy...

Information vital to National Security of any nation should be protected at all costs.
