There is a thread about the vehicles here already. Multiple ATS members, myself included, have called the airport and found out that they were there for storage by KIA Motors.

I don't know if he's fear-mongering or what, but needs to get his story straight on this.

Found this report a little over the top myself.

I can say that I have read about cameras being confiscated.

The mass arrests I find unbelievable.

There are NO...repeating, NO UN vehicles to speak of.

The mistaken UN vehicles turned out to be inventory of KIA Motors in storage at this particular airport.

There are still those that try to make a conspiracy out of everything though. And sadly they'll go on believing that the white cars, that are no longer being stored there in fact, were indeed UN vehicles.

I don't know if it's just you or others that comment on this airstrip. This is a former US Naval Base located at Green Cove Springs, Fl. and I was stationed there back in 59-61. The airstrip at that time was secured and belonged to the US Navy, not Air Force, if you look at Google Earth to the east of the airstrip you will see piers jutting out into the St. Johns River, while I was there the Navy had 1500 ships in mothballs there which were eventually sold to foreign navies and scrap yards for the high grade steel. After this base was closed the Feds used it to store confiscated drug boats and automobiles for a number of years. So now the airstrip is called Reynolds Airpark as I understand. If you really talked to someone at the airpark like you say you did I would have to believe what they told you was untrue about the 1000+ vehicles being Kia's. Why are they all 'white'??? Do Kia's only come in one color being in this case 'white'??? When you go to a Kia Dealership are all the Kia's 'white'??? Why are all these vehicles uniform in size??? Why don't we see an occasional sunroof on these vehicles??? Why would these vehicles be stored so far from a more centralized location for better distribution??? Do you really think that whoever you talked to there was really CIA or whatever would tell you "Oh, those are all Un Vehicles equipped with GPS, hardened electronics, rpg's mounted in the grill, a gun turret that would elevate out of the roof with a 50 cal gatling gun, DUH! For Christs Sake man use you head!

Your wrong. It has been repeatedly asserted on this thread that civilians are being punished or incarcerated for taking pictures. Mr. Fox is a citizen that took video and it has been released. He was not arrested. His video was not taken. His claims are that these events are not able to be photographed or filmed without reprisal. He has suffered no reprisal.

Do not attempt to change Mr Fox's literal statements into statements meant to be taken in spirit. He claimed what he himself has done is impossible and by doing so has proven himself to be in error.

What exactly is Clouds wrong about? I happen to know by first hand account of relatives living there, that we are not being told the truth. The situation is much more dire and underhanded that people are speculating!

Seems to me you are stuck and need to make a decision, are you going to continue refuting evidence and waste the time that you have arguing an irrelevant point just so you can say you are right? Or are you going to start excepting that all is not what it seems to be, and a MAJOR shake-up is coming that will effect the entire country?

I think if you choose the latter your chance at survival may be better, but if you want to call everything you see a HOAX, than your wasting your time, and if the people behind the scenes have their way, time is not a luxury you or I have! The time is now!

2. Mr. Jones says himself that it is a media blackout and that people cannot take pictures or fly over or make video; and that doing so results in arrest and/or confiscation of the media that the images are recorded on.

Mr. Jones flew over the spill and made video of it. He then released that video without reprisal (I hate repeating myself but sometimes one has to). To now state that even though this information was able to be released does not discredit his original statement is a complete fallacy. As I said earlier do not attempt to begin to speak of his statements in terms of their "spirit" or "implications of his statement." (again repeating myself, and this btw is where cloud was wrong) He said that it was not possible to get video, pictures, or fly over the spill. Then Mr. Jones releases a video of him flying over the spill. Why is this simple fact so hard to see?

I love how you just employed the "make a choice" tactic on me. It was an attempt to corner my debate and it did not work. When you use distraction, redirection, or begin to denigrate someone rather than their argument you are demonstrating the weakness of your own position. Now by telling me I need to make a choice you have, rather self righteously, attempted to dismiss my logic and shown the underlying weakness you know your argument has.

I don't see a huge conspiracy to this media blackout. The basic facts have been reported in the mainstream media for some time. No one has hidden the fact that this is a horrific situation. This can be seen from commonly reported maps of the extent of the oil's spread which, admittedly, only seem to be current as of two or three weeks ago. There are no reports that the flow of oil has stopped, and there are definite reports of oil reaching shore.

The basic facts are out there and not being covered up; however I'll admit the spin is being carefully controlled. There has been remarkably little of the sensationalism and yellow journalism that is usually seen with such a disaster. In a way, it's understandable that things have been clamped down: it's a PR and security nightmare for a large company that has to worry not only about public perception but domestic eco-terrorism and Muslim extremist terrorism as well.

As for the airspace being closed, I don't see how a bunch of media helicopters is going to help the cleanup effort. There is only so much that can be done while oil is still flowing. People milling around to gawk aren't going to help matters, and, from BP's point of view, neither are sensational photos.

Business as usual. The only conspiracy I see is that the entire oil drilling rig was vastly under-engineered to begin with, in an effort to cut costs without due regard to the risk of disaster.

Edit: not to say I agree with their media blackout, only that it's not a huge conspiracy to deceive the public.

They have a command center setup that is staff with security from some third-party company. I read not long ago that a guy tried to get through and was denied access.

So, if you have certain people insisting on getting in...or sneaking in, taking pictures, than getting caught leaving with a camera...you have trespassed their perimeter.

I'm sure BP was pissed when the images of the brown pelicans were leaked from one of the fishermen, who actually still works for BP. (Take that BP!)

So, they are very serious about protecting certain areas. I really doubt that anyone who is clearly in some usual place, usual time place, that they won't be arrested. It might be people who are crossing into potentially hazardous conditions where they might find dead animals (and take pictures...).

So, that is my take on this. And, I will agree that your reputation does affect the news you deliver in the future. So, if you deliver whacky or blown-out-of-proportion content...or your website sells Magical Mineral Spirit in a bottle, I will not trust you to deliver news that does not have a spin on it or without exaggeration.

The shipment of KIA cars, all white and the same model, is consistent with how model shipments are made. Also, since the steep downturn in car sales in the US, the auto distributors have been scrambling to lease open areas from anyone they can lease the space from to store the shipments that come in. The cars at the dealerships have not been moving, and the coasts (East and West) have enormous parking lots that have been storing new imports for the last few years. This sounds very consistent, especially the uniform color part of it. 1,000 white KIA sedans sounds like a shipment that has nowhere to go until some people start buying KIA's at some of these dealerships.

As far as the UFO documentary guy and his amazement at all the official activity and all the intensity surrounding it - what did he expect to see? This isn't the Bush years anymore. The Obama WH has the oil industry sh*tt*ng itself over this mess. What he's seeing is *sses and elbows, and that's what he should be seeing in a disaster like this. He's almost 2 months late to the party and he's amazed that the access perimeters have been firmly established? What is he, a middle schooler? I thought he was this well-established documentary film maker? Hasn't he ever been in a disaster zone before?

I firmly believe that Haliburton's set up another easy target (BP's well known to be reckless and negligent) so that they can cash in on a major catastrophe (there are reports that the entire casing of the well is destroyed and that the oil is coming out of the surrounding strata as well, which would indicate Haliburton's hand in triggering the failure with its cement casing), just like they set up Al Qaeda on 9/11 (with their newly exed CEO managing the government's response) and cashed in on two wars (and still are, and will be for a long time). I also believe that they'll always get away with extorting trillions from us through these "disasters" due to the open Anthrax Attacks case and what they probably have hanging over our heads (that our government knows about and can't resolve). So, it's not like I'm one of those guys who refuses to see the monsters when they're right there in plain sight.

I just think that this guy is playing a hysterical radio talkshow moron for a sucker, or they're both playing the listeners for suckers. This kind of severe environment within the perimeter of this kind of disaster is nothing sinister. It's the natural reaction to a major corporation that's in the gun sights of the most powerful empire that the planet has ever known. The US is pissed, and BP may not survive this encounter. I'd be shocked if there wasn't some level of media blackout. This is corporate culture in an existential crisis. The corporate media doesn't want us to see it either.

I've been there multiple times. I'll say this again. Innocent people aren't being arrested and having cameras confiscated. The standard 3000 ft no fly zone over the disaster is in effect, commonplace with FAA. BP is not in command of the coast guard. There is no martial law. You will not be bothered unless you put your self in danger or inhibit the cleanup. BP employees are under confidentiality aggrements, can't talk to media. They can't take pictures of oil covered animals.

Other than the spill the 2nd biggest story in Grande Isle was an idiot arrested for swimming in the tainted water.

Some of you people are so amped up for a conspiracy that you can't see the forest for the trees or listen to the truth of someone actuallly down here living.

There are overhead nasa photos, TOms of news coverage. Tons of beach photos and non BP contolled beach cams of the gulf coast. The severity of the incident isn't being reported accurately, but there is no media blackout. BP is controlling what goes out. THey aren't controlling the independent media in areas which aren't considered dangerous. They aren't commanding govt troops. It's quite the opposite. Jefferson parish declared emminant domain and is ordering them around.

Try believing a local before believing some hack journalist filmaker trying to raise money for his next project.

Well to take it a little bit further I for one was in the automobile business with GM and Ford. Sorry but your analysis of KIA is utter BS. If cars were shipped from from the orient we always had to take what was shipped. The colors could never be specified, only the number of vehicles, I was first exposed to this with the old Datsun B-210 back in the 70's. What is shown in the photo is without a doubt are more than likely vehicles of the same model, either SUV's or Vans. Fleet vehicles all of the same color are almost always destined for service of some kind such as utility companies, rental companies and the list goes on. In the years I was engaged in this business never once did I have a company ask me to submit a fleet bid for vehicles other than Gm Ford or Chrysler. While KIA has become a popular model in recent years it is because of Price to the consumer, when they were first introduced in the US they were absolutely Junk and many dealers were afraid to take this auto on because of the service problems it would generate. While this has changed, KIA is still NOT the desired fleet car at all. My question to you is WHY would over 1000 vehicles of the same color and dimensions be stored in a location that is not readily available for distribution. Please don't pedal the plastic wrap crap on me for color. Don't pedal the "but I talked to the guy" BS either, since when did the CIA, NSA, HLS ever start telling the truth. According to your analysis these automakers are now shipping all white cars of the same make and model to one lot, all red cars of the same make and model to another lot, all black cars of the same make and model to yet another lot and on it goes until you have all the colors in. Could you tell me where the storage lot would be for all the Black Mercedes 2011 E-Class 2Dr's are being stored, I just love that car.

I for one am relieved this is a hoax. Common sense would dictate
that it probably would be a hoax. The motive is unclear to me..if somebody
is getting jollie out of posting this somehow they will be repaid the
"favor" I guess.
I live relatively close to the gulf but have not been there recently.
I did overhear somebody say they went to the beach and other
that a few oil blobs? the water was fine..I was thinking, I wonder if
the water really IS fine for there could be something in it you could
neither smell or see.
Now I am going to be honest..I am not the sharpest tool int he shed
folks and may become easily jarred by all this...but in my opinion
there are some rumors out there that REALLY take the cake. For
instance it is written ( I will not say where ) the the military is in
training in colorado ...we would be the enemies so to speak and
they plan to scraping 3 states where there are the greatest number
of resistors..if you take that as fact you'd need to sit down and

These rumors are not funny in the least. As far as suspicion goes,

The problem of this feeling on "imminent disclosure" arises in situation when something is already happening but we don't have a clue what it is. Therefore the feeling. The difference in potential gives rise to it, it is actually a surplus energy generated in us because of unresolved understanding.

Authorities are afraid exactly of that - surplus of (non channeled) energy. This is why they step in with full force and martial law, to prevent this energy to be channeled against them, because all independent action of people is interpreted as "against the authority".

Authorities have no good explanation of this particular event, they - in an obvious manner - appear to have no control, and the only control they are really concerned is the control over the people. So, people are going to feel their hand very soon, be it just or unjust.

I was just wondering whether anyone was using there imagination, maybe someone over there could dress up as a drunk hobo with a bottle, but have a hidden camera on him or herself somewhere. Who is going to go near a drunk let alone worry about them. Just a thought.

For anyone who continues to say harassment/threats to reporters is just an urban legend, you may want to watch this video for proof. Granted, it may not be the police. It is BP and its goons... I'm glad this reporter asked the questions I would have asked.
