I get the fact it's not encouraged to reply with "ME TOO'S". But in this case, I am just trying to keep the fabricators from loontown at bay. My post has my witness account.

This thread has certainly garnered a large number of passionate posters! There seems to be a good mix of people saying the thread is true and those whom are saying this thread is a lie.

It has been suggested that perhaps someone going to the Gulf Coast and investigating this is in order and I agree with that sentiment. Should that someone report back that they were arrested or had equipment confiscated with photo/video proof of it it would certainly lend credence to the OP. Should they come back with photo and/or video evidence that no such black out is underway it stands to reason that this thread would be discredited.

I would like to ask what would those that consider this thread to be true take as valid evidence it is not? What criteria must the photo/video evidence meet to be consider satisfactory?

What would those that think this thread is a lie consider to be acceptable proof that it is not and is actually a factual report?

I am not referring to hearsay or even eyewitness accounts as a way to either confirm or deny this thread. I am talking about photo/video proof and what the prerequisites are for this photo/video proof.

Looks like it is a fuss over nothing, I don't think anything like that is going on down there, as I said early on in this thread there have been other threads about this that started a good while before this one did and nothing was going on, I even spoke to people in the area........

Now this may just be a coincidence, but it's a very similar story to that hoax the other day.

I do not know if I would trust that web cam. That cam has been up for years and they can have months worth of recorded footage. if they wanted, they could easily fake that cam.

I've been watching the 'alleged' live web cam here grandislewebcam.com... on the laptop while on the main PC and noticed a few other anomalies, I'm sure most here have seen the movie 'The Matrix' where the black cat passes and then another the same (actually the same cat) passes and he says "De JaVu", well it does appear to be looping in stages, it's not a fixed timely loop but it sure appears to be looping.

I never said everything is fine. I wouldn't ever say everything is "fine" in reference to this disaster from hell. Please don't put words in my mouth in which I have not utterterd. OK still no update on this wake up call? Come on ATS 106 stars and 191 flags and no proof as to the original claims as of yet? This is pathetic this entire post has no credibility at all, I've tried my patience with waiting giving it the benefit of the doubt. This is the problem lately here everyone stars and flags threads for no reason at all, you have one person claiming this with no evidence whatsoever to back it up, at least change the title to something more suitable. The good people of the south and of this nation does not need your fear mongering and b.s. , they have enough going on down there to deal with. My God people just because there is protocol to follow in disaster areas does not mean the gobment is trying to stick it up your ass and the world is gonna end, please wake up to the real wake up call and realize that when a real instance of this occurs no one is gonna believe anyways because every Peter, Paul, Mary have claimed the same thing without evidence many times already... Now that is an original idea for sure. If the concentrated military
( backup? ) in an area where clearly there was no danger or masses
of black goo coming ashore I would wonder if they were protecting
something else...EVIDENCE???? We have to remember that the public
has no business in certain places. I would not want to hang around
an oil refinery of any size or sort for any reason.

edit: He just said something about the "100's of UN vehicles" parked at an airport near there (FL I think).

There is a thread about the vehicles here already. Multiple ATS members, myself included, have called the airport and found out that they were there for storage by KIA Motors.

I don't know if he's fear-mongering or what, but needs to get his story straight on this.
