WOW... do you make assumptions like this in all aspects of your life? He was "dropping in" to take control of the ship. Aren't these peace activists? Ok so they had reason to believe that there would be no incident. But just in case, they came with a painball gun as a primary and a pistol as a back up. I believe that these soldiers thought they would drop in and face some verbal abuse... There is no way they knew what was going to happen and still did a 1 rope drop. If they knew there was violence in the future.. things would have been handled differently. So for you, John Doe sitting safely behind your desk... You are going to tell the world what these guys knew and thought... Pathetic!

Give a palestinian a squirl or bird, he will eat for a day. Teach him to shoot squirls and birds with a sling shot , he will need food.. sling shots are worthless.

Hi Evolved,

See if you can spot all of the 'tricks' used in one sides media.

These videos are an example of how 'people' get the wrong side of a story;

And here...

Kind regards,

How about the fact that the Israelis are in the fight for their lives with all of you on the left and the moslem world against them. Ya'll are pushing, people whose grandparents were in concentration camps, up against the wall and telling them they have no right to their homes and some of you are saying they have no right to even exist. And what you fools don't realize is that they have nuclear weapons and I won't blame them when they have to use them.

Seriously you are an idiot, the Israelis have ever right to exist and to maintain a blockade and the inspection of vessels entering that restricted area, the people on that ship knew that and were ready to cause trouble when the inspection team boarded, and they were also expecting deaths to arise when they attacked the Israelis, after all these are the fools that strap bombs on their children to die for Allah and kill as many infidels as they can.

Your friends are being attacked by miltants armed with everything up to firearms and you shoot someone coming at you with a pipe or other object that you know is going to hurt you or a comrade, so you shoot repeatedly, nerves maybe, myself I would have shot my whole mag then reloaded and shot as many of the arseholes as I could.

Pathetic that you would need guns and a helicopter with trained killers just to "drop in". I would hate to see tax dollars wasted like that. These soldiers were ready to kill, as all soldiers should be. I do assume that soldiers are called in when deadly force might be needed. These assumptions keep me alive.

I'm still waiting for the footage of the Attack Troops storming the ship with guns blazing and shooting people before they even landed on the deck! You know, the stuff that is claimed to have been edited by Israel-the stuff right before the footage they show of the single dropping style they used. lol

Notice how the attenition suddenly changed to the Iranian ships coming. Not much, if anything, about this incident.

More proof the MSM is trying to keep the pressure up or to start a fight.

You my fellow human are dilusional. Look up "munitions found in aid shipment" It was found in 2009 and there were TONS of weapons. Israel wanted to stop the ship and direct it to their port. The ship WOULD NOT COMPLY! So they have to assume that their intentions are hostile. There is ZERO proof that they shot from the choppers. As far as the facts go (as of right now) the first act of violence was from the "peace" activists attacking the soldiers as they repeled into the deck. Dont you think there is a chance that (Just like any maritime vessel stop) the shots they are saying that the IDF fired, were just shots accross the bow to get the ship to stop? Of course you wont agree that this is possible.. This will add no fuel to the fire, you and others want to start.I truely hope that Gaza gets weapons.. I hope they use them.. Then I hope the well placed bombs and rockets clear enough space in Gaza/Lebanon/Syria/Turkey/Iran.. The 6 day war might take 12 with some new players...

You say "as far as the facts go," but it's quite clear your perception of facts discounts entirely the reports of the people on the vessels while maintaining an unquestioning stance towards the IDF version of events. This is a clear example of bias. I am also not sure why you would wish to see another massive war in the Middle East. In my opinion that's would be an awful turn of events.

Why does Israel get to say what Palestine can have? Isralies have munitions, we have munitions, everybody gets munitions except Palestinians. This was a humanitarian mission, so what if they have weapons too. Weapons are not banned in the free world.

Perhaps this poster should look into the actual international laws regarding a blockade before denouncing this action as "illegal".

Israel has a legal blockade in regards to military arms bound for Gaza. As such, they have the legal right to board and check any ship bound to Gaza anywhere in the world, and that includes so called "international waters".

Hamas controls Gaza. The Hamas organizational Charter calls for the destruction of Israel. Therefore, Hamas is at war with Israel.

The following link discusses the legal aspects:

Really? Have you been living under a rock?

Break it down...simple

Youre a caveman and im a caveman...You are a bigger caveman than i am.

I start throwing rocks at you because i dont like you. You could just kill me and be done with it, but you find humility in just making sure i dont have any rocks to throw at you anymore...

Really, what part of "Promised Land" & "Chosen People" don't these dumb goy stone throwers understand?

So what if some "peace activists" get shot in the face? Is it a crime? Who cares? I say do a USS Liberty on the next "aid ship" & teach them a lesson they won't forget. You know, it's great to see so many fine Americans coming out to support Israel here, if only Obama would do the same. He seems to forget that six to seven million Jews died in the Holocaust.

I take offense to anyone claiming "the whole western world supports israel". Blockade? One set of humans denying another set of humans basic needs is barbaric. If you blocked the door to my house so that I couldn't get to the store to buy food for my family I would blow up your house, your car and your family. Making people desperate is a dangerous thing.

I've watched the video and all I see is some guys that llok like mercs repelling from a chopper and illegally boarding a merchant ship in International waters. You can't see much in the video but I'm sure those israelis pulled thier guns and provoked a fighta nd got it, maybe more than they bargained for since they are crying about it so much. Are we to believe that it's every terrorists MO to be carrying thousands of dollars in cash every time he attacks someone or something. That's rather silly isn't it? Carrying big wads of cash in your pocket 24/7 no matter what you're doing. Do you know anyone stupid enough to do that? And by the way, last I heard about 80% of our news media is owned and run by rich jewish people. Oops, did I imply something?! Nah, just stating the facts, the slanted news implies very well on it's own.

What, exactly, does a "merc" "look like"? How is it one tells, just from appearance, a "merc" from a National Service Soldier?

How is it you're "sure" that the IDF soldiers "pulled their guns and provoked a fight", especially in light of the fact that you admit yourself that "you can't see much in the video"? Could it be that you don't even know what it is you're looking for, and just WANT to believe what there is no evidence for? Even to ignoring what there IS evidence for?

Strange that no one has made the assertion that these "peaceful activists" "carry wads of cash 24/7", yet you feel a need to defend against that, by reducing it to absurdity. You DO know that couriers have been know to carry cash for delivery in order to circumvent electronic blocks emplaced, right? Is it really surprising that if such were the case, it would be spread out amongst several couriers so that no one carried the whole delivery?

Methinks that the news may not be the only thing slanted here.
