I have news for you. Science is actually a skill. It does involve insight, intuition etc but it's the same as in playing violin or reciting Chinese poetry, or marksmanship. You can't do any of the above without skills. And you, Mary, are trying to find any excuse to not put effort in getting skills. As a result, Haramein can publish any sort of cr@p on the Internet and you embrace it right away, not only being unable to discern the epic silliness of his writings, but eschewing science as we know it because you basically want to run away from the learning process. You are right, Mary, it's pretty damn hard.

We don't need to continue a discussion of two members of the forum and what each knows, however.

What would be desirable, is to put a stop to attacks on individuals, members and non-members alike, and focus on the topic of the thread, which is meditation as a technique for gaining insight.

Okay.

I disagree. But I'm not interested in a debate on the topic trying to convince you of my opinion.

What I'm interested in is testimony, I guess is the correct word, from people who do meditate telling their stories. I find that very interesting and worthwhile.

What does meditation have to do with science? Ever heard of a false analogy?

You can also meditate and write great fiction based on your experiences, but what does it have to do with reality?
