People in here don't have anything more important to care? All these attempts of trying to turn non-issues into real issues is getting boring.

Really... pretty soon people will be calling for impeachment because the president doesn't wear a American Flag as his underwear. Lately all these crazy talks and over the top patriotism are becoming just absolutely laughable.

But this doesn't surprise me at all, specially since he is the first black president the US ever had and there is still a whole lot of ignorants/racists in US soil.

The POTUS is a national icon, his actions represent the whole of America. This is an awesome responsibilty because every single thing you do is scrutinized by literally millions not just Americans but nations both allied and those dedicate to the demise of the "American Dream" people living free. For that cause and to that end..everything that the POTUS does reflects (whether we agree or not) the policy of the American people.
Apologizing to Muslim politcal figures, refusing to salute the American Flag (back when he was on the camphgin trail), skipping on Memorial Day when American Soliders are dying on foriegn soil for his (Commander in Cheife) polices..they are there dying enforcing his polices (the mimium that he can do is show respect for this committment) which he POTUS seems to avoid at all oppertunity. I'm a veteran and I know what I'm talking about, if you havent served, then at least try to understand POTUS actions have wide ranging impact on people, perceptions at home and abroad.

Was this press conference really held here on USA soil? I can't believe that not one of his advisors wouldn't have said something to him. Nixon didn't do half as many rotten, un-American things as Obama has and he was impeached! I'm just saying........

He is also the first Jewish President, right? He is a black-skinned Jewish guy. He is the ultimate Manchurian Candidate. The youth had all been turned into socialists and then communists. They would give birth to generations of local Egyptian kids that were worthless. The Egyptians had been SPOILED! I don't know your friends...true. I do know vets. Of course if the flag goes away freedom does not go away. But if what the flag represents goes away, then it does not matter if we have a flag or not.
Now for the big question. I can speak for vets because I am one......are you? Have you done anything to say that you have earned what the flag stands for? Anything? You don't speak like a vet or a patriot...and yes I am assuming here, but I bet I'm right. So go to Russia, China, Cuba, or some places in South America and tell them their flag is just a piece of cloth and see how you fair. I wonder...how old are you? 20s, 30s?? You sound very naive.

What you just said is exactly what I said. You do not need the flag in order to have what it represents. What you need, is what it represents. Of course if what it represents goes away, it is pointless. Just like it is pointless if not. Freedom is freedom and doing the right thing is doing the right thing. Find me one vet the fought the Nazis because of the order of stripes on a cloth.
