Where are you guys viewing this at? I'm on BP.com and the video hasn't loaded. Doesn't give me an error message either.

BP just cut all live feeds ... the plot thickens.

BP just cut the feed that showed an explosion. They have us on another live feed now.

They just have that stupid 'thing' in front, like always, they are trying to block the view of something that has changed.....

You might have,ive seen several things that appear to be eels swimming past the oil?...very strange

Do you thing we are looking at live feed at this point, or are they showing us some archived footage?

From what I can see from behind the 'thing', the plume looks bigger and seems to be ejecting at a more rapid pace.....

Does anyone remember seeing this very same footage a day or so ago?

First the device the arms are currently holding start leaking yellow/green fluid, the arms then grab it and hold it in the position we are seeing now for quite some time.
I very much doubt what we are seeing now is live, I could be (and am very often) wrong.

They may have been testing the topkill operation which involves shooting heavy mud into the wellhead.

I don't believe that we're looking at a live feed anymore ... after that major event that just occurred, BP cut the live feed for a few mins then came back with what looks like a previous days feed that had been recorded and is being played back now.

Interesting. I didn't catch what happened, but i looked over at my other system with the streaming feed both from CNN and BP's site. They both had a roiling cloud of oil and small debris.

CNN cut to some guy talking about school stuff, and the BP feed froze.. upon refreshing, it shows what we are seeing now. that... "thing" just sitting there.

Strange.

I'm thinking maybe what we are watching right now is a short loop, because the yellow floppy thing at the top keeps going through the same motions every few minutes....
