Oh, indeed I am....as are quiete a few, or so I've noticed.

I am sure even weedwhacker is largely entertained.

I think most of it is laughing to keep from crying, though --- crying at the prospects that the fate of the planet might end up in the hands of people who read this thread and consider it to be serious....

People....they see the phrase "Black Death" and probably don't even know what it means...the additon of the 'chemtrails' nonsense just adds to the misery, though.

Bubonic plague is the best known manifestation of the plague, caused by the Gram-negative bacterium Yersinia pestis (formerly known as Pasteurella pestis).

en.wikipedia.org...

en.wikipedia.org...

NOTE the next, it is VERY important:

In the early 1330s an outbreak of deadly bubonic plague occurred in China. The bubonic plague mainly affects rodents, but fleas can transmit the disease to people. Once people are infected, they infect others very rapidly.

www.themiddleages.net...

SO....as everyone can plainly see, the initial conduit for the disease would have been the rats, and fleas....BUT, in that era, ignorance of the very small (bacteria) meant that humans had NO CONCEPT of infection spreading from person to person!

Really....a little bit of learning does wonders for a person's perception.

So you consider a quick search on WIKI to be learning? We are discussing Europe and the outbreak that occurred there in the European climate and topography; Not what happened in China.

To quote the WIKI site that we all love so much, the Black Death plague was not just the bubonic plague but apparently other diseases as well such as the "pneumonic plague (the infection in the lungs), and septicemic plague (the infection in the blood and the most deadly of the three)"

In fact how can we know exactly what kind of sickness this was that caused so many deaths? Maybe this is the only explanation the doctors of that era had?

How can one explain that in an era with no vaccinations, the Plague simply stopped after it had killed around 100 million people? Why not more? Its interesting how these plaques appear and dissappear seemingly randomly throughout history.

I'm just trying to decipher a pattern, and reports of people seeing mist dispensing UFO's prior to these plagues happening is something worth researching.

I think the world would be a better place if it indeed ended up in the hands of people who considered every possibility SERIOUSLY, and were able to come to an educated and thoroughly researched conclusion on this subject and any subject for that matter. Just because you feel this is not a serious thread, doesent mean that it isnt.

In fact Id be weary if the world's fate depended on individuals like yourself who seem to make decisions without considering all possibilities. Now that would truly be a scary place to live.

As you can see it's a waste of time, and all you are doing is setting yourself up for a load of ridicule from some very nasty, individuals with an over-inflated opinion of themselves.

Much better places online to discuss stuff like this... Google is your friend

I hardly ever bother with the UFO forum nowadays for this same reason, and only came to this thread because the title reminded me of a particular chapter in a book called 'Gods Of Eden' ... by William Bramley. I believe Karl 12 (one of the genuinely nice people in this UFO forum) mentioned it in a previous post. If you get a chance it's definitely worth a read.

Anyway ... my sympathies at the way you've been treated in this thread.

Thank you for your sympathy! I am a thick skinned individual and I posses the ability to be humble. I wont stop posting in this forum however, I find that the genuine people on ATS and their contributions to my threads, FAR OUTWEIGH any trolls that I may encounter here, Im here for those genuine contributors, Ive only been posting on ATS for less than a week, and already I have met some great, intelligent, and like minded people.

As for the other individuals on here, I guess ill just have to continue to DENY IGNORANCE, and embrace change.

Thanks.

Do you know in which part is the one that is responsible for this thread? It would be faster that way.

Popular misconception is that it was just europe, the black death also reached Egypt and killed alot of middle-eastern types as well.

I've seen radiant white mother ships crop spraying us from right above and close up. They are doing this and they are connected with the various types of ufo orbs and they spray like a candy floss/tinsel substance that slowly falls to the ground and disintegrates on impact. Now I don't know what they are spraying but there is always the possibility that it is something like the Black Death!

It would be interesting if we can find reports from other areas during that time that can corroborate some sort of atmospheric sightings/phenomena being seen before and during the plague(s)

My point above by mentioning CHINA was to have people pay attention to the YEARS and the century.

:shk: Really, a disease that manifested in China a few centuries BEFORE Europe, and everyone screams "Aliens did it!"??

The line between fiction and speculative story-telling, and historical record keeping is getting a bit blurry, if you keep on this path.

That what everyone wants?

Im open to all possibilities. Im not sure what "everyone wants" nor do I claim to know what everyone wants. And no one is screaming aliens without reason.

If you do not believe the information in question, I applaud you for voicing your opinion.

However it is only that, an opinion, please don't expect every one else to share it with you. That being said, I appreciate your contribution to this thread.

Just because people disagree doesn't make them trolls.
Just because people post light-hearted posts doesn't make them trolls.

You shouldn't stop posting on this forum just because you have the feeling you're being 'trolled'.

I guess a lot of who you might call 'trolls' are actually genuine contributors.

Along with the great, intelligent and like-minded people there are also nutjobs, less-than-stable, and less-than-great. This is, in part, what makes this a vibrant and interesting online community.

Deny ignorance swings both ways and no amount of hypothetical posturing can change that!

Re:your OP. Yes, it's an interesting theory, but flies full in the face of known and accepted reasoning about the 'Black Death".

I reiterate: they were highly superstitious times where the information was tightly controlled and with a largely illiterate society manipulation of common perceptions would have been relatively easy.

So the Black Death theory may not hit the mark, I'm convinced many peoples cancers on Planet Earth are caused by close contact with mother ships. The discharge/manna/candy floss like substance is said to radioactive so when that rains down onto people below................................... I'm scared!

Got any good videos yet because the last lot were poor to say the least but I suppose if you had bothered to get closer we would have seen what you really filmed

All these great stories from you re your encounters pity about the evidence you have!

I mean how can anyone see all you claim to see yet have nothing to show a bit suspect dont you think

I have never called any individual here a troll. I simply stated that people who purposely try to derail my thread are unavoidable, and would not make me stop posting here. I appreciate all contributions and have not considered anyone disagreeing with me a "troll" so I'm not sure why you made this assumption. If I am wrong on anything that I post I welcome objections and discussion, and I agree with you, as this makes for a vibrant and interesting community.

As far as your comment on my OP, you mention this flying full in the face of "known and accepted reasoning" May I ask you to think for a moment who has presented us with this reasoning? And who has it been accepted by? The establishment that runs this planet? The winners of wars who write history as it suits them?

You mention that manipulation of common perceptions was relatively easy back then...Is it not a major problem today as well? Could our "known and accepted reasoning" in regards to what we have been TAUGHT about the black plague be filled with mis-information?

I say yes it certainly can, considering that most information that is taught at schools about history has been manipulated by the PTB to suit their needs, and cover up many mistakes.

I welcome your posts here and on my future threads
Have an awesome day!!

Hi, thanks for your reply. _b

Of course information can be manipulated today and certainly 'accepted wisdom' CAN be modified and controlled by those in control. However, regarding the Black Death we have a reasonable and working model of how it occurred and how it spread (rats and fleas) and we have an outlandish model (Aliens and chemtrails). Ockham's razor.

I don't expect everyone/anyone to agree with me but I consider the rats and fleas to be the correct model in this case.

Oh, regarding the 'trolls' comments...you mentioned trolls in the post I quoted so I was replying to that. Sorry if I was misinterpreting your words.

Thats quite alright! I appreciate your input!

IMO I still think that the "working model" that we have been presented may not absolute. At the end of the day we dont really know what happened.

I do know one thing though, there have been UFO's reported throughout history and the present day, and I plan to investigate untill I get to the bottom of this "grey" area.

Wmd 2008.....

The rats had fleas, fleas spread the plague that and open sewers on the streets.

Wrong!

Have you seen how small a rat & a flea is?

How could something that small make all those people sick?

:shk:

How big? Yeah, well, quite big really, aren't they? I'm talking relatively of course, relative to something like, y'know, a virus.

You do know how malaria travels?

You have to be joking though, surely? (actually, reading a couple more of your posts, you obviously are and I'm enjoying your way of thinking! ;-)

Anyway, we understand the plague perfectly well and have done for some time. We have great knowledge and a timeline of events, following it from East Asia into Italy and beyond.

I mean, you do know that the plague originated in Asia, don't you? So, were the Aliens being reported then? I doubt very much the men in black were, as they didn't use plague doctors in the East.
Interesting fact, the first bubonic plague (Black Death) was actually used in the first accounts of biological warfare, where the Mongols would stick their soldiers who had died of the plague on a trebuchet or catapult thing and fling them into the besieged city, to spread the virus to their enemies. Pretty nasty, eh?

What was mentioned about people "seeing" the plague as a mist coming towards them is simply urban myth and old wives tales. People used to believe that plagues and pox were caused by miasma, which was a kind of illness or misbalance of the air. They thought that illnesses were carried in the air and often believed they could be viewed.

Nah. This is about as silly as it gets. It just makes everyone in the field look stupid! I mean, the pyramid ideas are one thing but let's not claim alien intervention for something that we understand absolutely completely and perfectly.

I MUST ADMIT UP UNTIL THIS POST you seemed like a sensible person but if you believe in 13TH century chemtails WHEN he said the PROGRAM mentioned newspapers and journals of the time from his OP

WHEN THE FIRST PRINTED BOOK WAS 100 YRS LATER.
The simple fact unless you were a nobleman or a monk you wouldn't read or write.

Well, I never saw the show but don't forget the 14th century plague was only the first outbreak. It re-reared it's ugly head many hundred times up and can still be seen today, even in such modern countries as the USA.

The worst and biggest outbreak was shortly before the great fire of London on the 17th century, so maybe they were talking about that event, as the Gutenberg Press was old news by then.

I don't believe this thread and discussion make everyone in the field look "stupid" I would encourage you to speak for yourself. If you "perfectly understand" an explanation that has been proposed, this does not mean that its correct. The easiest explanation, is not always the right one, Occam's Razor is not a rule written in stone.

May I ask why you added me as your respected foe? I just found it interesting since I think this is the first time ive ever replied to your posts? I may be mistaken.

Either way thank you for contributing to this thread!

Oh give over! DOn't be so wet!

He's a grown man, I'm sure he's not going to get upset because people don't agree with him. Where are these "nasty" people you talk about? I see frustrated people who want this field to be taken seriously and are pretty fed up with the fringe loons throwing "ALEEANS!" down to cover absolutely anything from the Black Death to an electrical blackout in NYC (yep, some people really suggested that aliens caused a black out in New York).

Do you really feel the need to molly coddle him? I think you need to toughen up and I'm sure Gemeni doesn't need your patronising care or your ingenuous sympathies.

If you are so troubled with ATS, take your own advice and use Google, don't come swanning in here as though you are some special benevolent being, lording it over all us nasty runts.

Wind your neck in and toughen up, you big girls blouse!

Triplesod, I believe that was uncalled for. First off, knowing that I'm a grown man, you should also know that I can speak for myself. Please refrain from replying to posts on my behalf.

I'm perfectly capable of deciding what I need to hear and who to reply to.

Your reply to this gentleman was nasty. So I guess you may have answered your own question about who is rude on these forums.
