This oil spill is a frickin' disaster...unless there's proof they can't stop it, or the technology for repairs are problematic....

He just brought up a whistle blower that committed 'suicide' after promising not to commit suicide.

...and maybe he thinks he can stir up more information by watching what the parties involved in the forthcoming revelation are doing over the next few weeks.

"History-Making"...my bet is on either the official 9/11 Pentagon Video(s) (why were these never shown anyway?), or a video taken by a tourist that kept it secret for fear of their career or life.

Everything can be faked these days. Videos, audios, documents...you name it.

If this mystery disclosure is so big and so damning, TPTB will be sure to loudly declare it a hoax and call anyone who believes in it a tinfoil-hatted conspiracy theorist.

You didn't see anyone saying that Apache helicopter footage that WikiLeaks released was faked did you?

I'm guessing that the next release will be a real event video too that is confirmed real and backed up by other sources. Sources that feel safe to finally speak out.

Aliens, Area 51, Rothschilds, CFR, Trilateral, Bilderberg confrimations is seen as the real big news. Oil is minor compared to it. The uncovering of a as yet uncovered item not mentioned on ATS yet. The possibilities are limitless and endless.

What is Wikileaks angle here? What exactly are they looking to gain. No one nowadays (unfortunately) will do anything without getting something for it. What's the angle?

Even quasi big evidence must be scrutinized and every single bit of formality must be verified. Leveraging of those who stand to lose in order to prevent them pulling a play of some sort. Factual and correct information takes time to verify. I'd love to be a fly on the wall in this case.

I tend to agree with the conclusions of the below linked article.

IMO, the Euro could crash as members flee the dying currency. The tip off was when Germany put a ban on shorting CDSs (Credit Default Swaps), bank stocks, and select currencies.

Correct, everything can be faked, but a reputation cannot. Wikileaks has gained... err, earned a good reputation and make no mistake that whatever they plan on releasing will sit far away from the 'hoax' forum.

Perfectly reasonable to me.

We had all the same rhetoric when they were about to release the Iraq massacres video...'why not release it now..' and 'why wait to release it...'yet that was pretty substantial and informative.

We can only wait and see..hopefully the world won't end between now and then, and we'll know if it was worth waiting for.

I vote for ET disclosure too, if that would be the case it would only make sense that they would compile enough information. Then after said information is compiled, and they established themselves as a credible source, such history making news would then be released.

I really hope so, things have been shaking up over the skies here in Philadelphia too. Interestingly enough most of it is occurring right by Independence (City) Hall, which has a ley line that connects in the middle directly to egypt and on the opposite side to the mayan ruins. Just sayin.

Its probably info wich "normal" or ignorant people dont know. If you are on ATS you probably know the info allready.

I thought their last leak was history making stuff. LOL. I think they overestimate how impactful they are.

When he released that last bit of video he was all over the media and very busy, even though most didn't give him much airtime. I'm betting he wants some rest before he hits the question circuit. He's notorious for not sleeping enough already. So a bit of R&R before a media blitz seems like he's preparing to go the distance, instead of just treating it as a hobby.
