BTW,
I think that replacing Jackson is WRONG because he was the first President to actively garner popular support during an election cycle. Yes, he waged
(multiple) wars on the native americans, but, in doing so, he essentially carved out an american 'homeland'. His was an administration, and life,
that signified the raw energy of our expanding republic. Dropping him would amount to ignoring the history of american democracy.
