U.S. backs Seoul's charge that North Korea sank ship

www.reuters.com

U.S. President Barack Obama vowed to help South Korea defend itself against any further "acts of aggression," the White House said on Wednesday as it backed Seoul in its accusation that North Korea sank one of its navy ships.

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will visit Seoul on May 26 in what analysts see as a show of solidarity with the long-time U.S. ally.

So what are the options left for the South Korean government now that the prolonged probe over the sinking of the warship is complete? They have already played the waiting game by taking months to come to a conclusion about the real cause for the sinking of the warship. Now they have again stirred up the issue by promising "resolute action" against the culprits. What could be the "resolute action"? If the resolute action promised by the South Korean president turns out to be a damp squib, will that affect his domestic political power? As far as Hillary Clinton's upcoming visit to Seoul is concerned, I think the real purpose of this visit could be to calm down the tension that is prevalent in the South Korean regime.

Perhaps Kim is trying to get the south to attack so he can try out his new bombs....?
If they were to use one in defense it may go down with the world half assedly...
Then they could roll up the rest of the survivours and take over south korea...
Id surely like to know how well kims soldiers are equipped with radiation suits.....It would be a drag if they were under protected for the yield of the norths bomb, which i think will be a pretty dirty one.it might turn around and bite them too

I never imagined they would back the charge.
I thought we'd just play middle ground again.

Well, the elite sure are clever. They are setting up all their options. Let's see, we have the potential for:
Economic collapse, race wars, asian theater engagement, the new global cooling threat, the old global warming threat, ecological disasters, the good ole terrorist option, rouge nations, food regulation and de-nutritionalization.

Have I left anything out?

This is world is just a powder keg waiting for the fuse to run out. North and South Korea eventually will go at it, but my concern is the scale of the war. If the United states backs up South Korea, who backs up North? China. If the two (North and South Korea) do go at it, and china aids North. Would the US really support South Korea, and risk a full out war?

Will be Interesting.

I used to be concerned about this but no longer.

I realized that China has nothing to gain by backing the North Koreans. China is benefiting too greatly from capitalist free societies. If the South won and expanded into the North, the growth would benefit China the most. They may say to the North they will back them, even throw a bone or two their way, but would be happy to see the area rid of the little mad man. If North Korea goes, the only reason to stay in the area is because of China, and the US wont say that, so China should be able to pursued the US to draw down forces.

It would be nasty, but only within the Korean Peninsula and only for the Koreas and the US.

Cant believe you missed one.
More than half the country is filled with racist, gun toting, bible clinging rednecks if you believe what we hear from MSM. Nice set up for class division and disent within the ranks. Hmmm? where have I read about that before?

They are setting all of the chess pieces into place as entertainment for the elite. We truly are just pawns in this as we sit idly by to watch them rape and plunder the planet over and over.

Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to the show. I hope your head is screwed on straight because once this really kicks off your reality is going to change. That is of course after you wake up, pull your head out of your end and recognize that you have been totally firm prodded in the nether region.

Now why would North Korea fire torpedoes and sink a single ship then not claim responsibility? And if it was an aggressive attack meant to spur up a bigger fight, why attack with such a lack of vigor? And be so shy about it?

Suspect as hell.

The sad thing is, even if everyone woke up to the game, there is nothing they would do about it.

The elite operate as a sort of conglomerate. They pool together to achieve a mutually agreed upon goal. Individuals, even if aware, are soo divided as to what is the most important, so the groups they form are never powerful enough to get anything accomplished. If they do start to give a little pressure, the elite can pacify them with something simple and small, and that usually ends up aiding them.

Waking up to Radio 2 in the UK this was the top headline news in two hourly news bulletins. North Korea has threatened all out war with the south if further sanctions are imposed , South Korea has promised a firm response ( what ever that means)also America has stood behind SK and offered any assistance they need.
This could easily escalate. Oh 7.30 news just said Britain has come out to condemn the attack on SK warship.

Ok, so it seems like something will happen sooner rather than later. I guess the question becomes, if this is what they are showing us, what is happening quietly that then don't want us to see?

I wish I could say that I disagree but I don't. We have no common goal or need and have lost our way.

Maybe they were hoping there would be actions so the North could blame the South for a Gulf of Tonkin style justification.

China, and Russia, have been "backing" the Taliban & Iraqi resistance with weapons that are used to summarily slaughter US/NATO troops / bleed the empire of resources.. I'm guessing they'd 'back' N. Korea in this regard as well.

Its in their interests to put maximum hurt on the US military.. as US politicians borrow more money from China.. how does China lose? they make money from both warring tribes.. playing the US establishment for suckers. Notice how the GOP & DNC leaders cry alligator tears about their utmost concern for the safety of US troops on TV.. then behind closed doors do business with the nation responsible for arming the troops 'enemies'.. lol, the word "betrayal" comes to mind..
