U.S. President Barack Obama vowed to help South Korea defend itself against any further "acts of aggression," the White House said on Wednesday as it backed Seoul in its accusation that North Korea sank one of its navy ships.
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will visit Seoul on May 26 in what analysts see as a show of solidarity with the long-time U.S. ally.

Well, the elite sure are clever. They are setting up all their options. Let's see, we have the potential for:
Economic collapse, race wars, asian theater engagement, the new global cooling threat, the old global warming threat, ecological disasters, the good ole terrorist option, rouge nations, food regulation and de-nutritionalization.
Have I left anything out?

Now why would North Korea fire torpedoes and sink a single ship then not claim responsibility? And if it was an aggressive attack meant to spur up a bigger fight, why attack with such a lack of vigor? And be so shy about it?
Suspect as hell.

I used to be concerned about this but no longer.
I realized that China has nothing to gain by backing the North Koreans. China is benefiting too greatly from capitalist free societies. If the South won and expanded into the North, the growth would benefit China the most. They may say to the North they will back them, even throw a bone or two their way, but would be happy to see the area rid of the little mad man. If North Korea goes, the only reason to stay in the area is because of China, and the US wont say that, so China should be able to pursued the US to draw down forces.
It would be nasty, but only within the Korean Peninsula and only for the Koreas and the US.
