How long have you been on this site or indeed been interested/studying ET phemonmena, when would a politician openly admit that he/she had had contact with ET? when would you have thought to see an Alien embassy being built on this earth?

Look at the headlines and the films and its as plain as the nose on your face, we are heading for change. I am not saying that its all good, and that ET are going to save humanity. I am just saying that life is changing in front of our eyes and everyday seems to be a step closer to everything we have ever talked/bickered about on this site.

My take on the situation is that a disclosure is taking place, its a kind of Damage Limitation disclosure that we are witnessing. The majority of people expect a UFO to land on the whitehouse lawn and ET come out saying hello and then a press conference to the world. This is not the case (at leats not yet) 'they' are realeasing this information at a much faster rate than ever because the inevitable is going to happen soon this isn't one of those DISCLOSURE DISCLOSURE IS COMING type threads, its about change and the way people should look at whats right in front of them.

Because ATS has very experienced,knowledgeable and diligent members We learn pretty much first hand all the 'strange' news before it hits the papers, I would imagine that we can all agree on this site that 2009/2010 has seen a record amount of exposure to UFO,ET,NASA,SPACE related articles. This is because IMHO a change is coming and before we know it,its going to be knocking on the door.

The question is are you ready?

I guess if you are willing to blow those stories out of portion and remove them from proper context, then yeah, disclosure.

Sadly it takes more then movies (thousands have been made about aliens) and misquoted or misrepresented information.

Hang on a mo, before you go on the defensive, go to the UFO forum and take a good look at the titles of the threads, next go to the breaking alternative news and take a good look at the titles.

Sadly it takes more then movies (thousands have been made about aliens) and misquoted or misrepresented information.

Don't apologise, all I ask is that you take a look at the information that has been presented to us this year 2010 on this particular subject, do you see a change in the stances of the scientific community? Yes / No. Before you answer straight away, please take your time.

I just think we will go insane, crazy and stupid like every civilization before us. All this mixed cultures and the our way of life (consume like sick and work like sick) will end in a disaster. People are dreaming of something wonderfull will happen, while they kill them self in the name of god. People are bad, but think they are good. russian militairy folks are allready talking about ufo's for ages.
also in movies, documantairies etc. maybe you know it... it was called VHS.

so IMO disclosure was allready happening since, at least, the 80's.

or maybe it is just me being a dumbass

I'd like to believe the "powers that be" are setting us up for disclosure, it just doesn't seem viable. Sci-fi movies/stories/fables have been around for a long time and nothing has really changed ever since. A lot of speculation and people on forums saying that a space ship will show up on this day and that day when in the end, a lot of people look up at the sky and see nothing. But on the other hand, some people look up (probably most of us on this site) and see a plethora of interesting things in the sky. I honestly think that the odds of our society trying to make aliens more common place is less likely than disclosure itself.

Time will only tell, we can sit around and think that something is or isn't happening only to see in the end that we choose what happens and what doesn't happen.

I agree with what you have said, with one exception and that is since 1st January 2009 the D9 notice that originally blacked out articles to do with UFO's because of netional security was lifted

Please, I implore everyone on ATS to research the type of movies that were released after this date and the timelines of media reports in regards to UFO's and ET.

Am I the only person that is seeing life unfold through movies and media reports? I mean what better way to get it out in to the public arena, come on people open your eyes and look whats in front of them

What I see is that a huge enough segment of the population is obsessed with ETs, aliens and UFOs that Hollywood can make truckloads of cash making movies about them.

This notion of "disclosure" is wacky, fallacious and defined by wishful thinking. Especially the one that implies that the government knows of aliens but won't tell us, decides they want to let us know, but has to manipulate Hollywood to warm everyone up to it with decades of alien movies first.

Exactly what I am trying to say, what better way than to bring it out in to the public arena than through films and media so that when contact is made, the damage limitation will go in to effect because of them.

Government and UFOS

Its not about Government anymore, its about pockets of elites playing a game and we are in the middle, there are pockets of elites that are trying so desperately to bring to our attention what has been in front of eyes since birth, only now because IMO something is coming that these pockets of elites don't have any control over and when it does people are going to be asking alot of questions.

I prefer dialogue than pictures thats all, I am not agressive or angry, I was using the word s-n-i-g-g-e-r, which mean to laugh quietly. In regards to the thread, I am being 100% serious. I truely believe that the media is trying to open our eyes up to the fact that we are not alone and through these subtle reports and articles they are, in a way conditioning us to acceptance of this.

I disagree. Hollywood has no other motivation than to make money from film productions. There is no reason to either warm up the public to aliens or to "discredit their real nature".

I have been studying this topic for many many years now and it is apparent that something is in motion, whether or not its going to be the disclosure/change everyone wants it to be is another thing.
